Pet Mod Two Step 'Mons V.2 | Slate 7 | Step 1: (Moves and Abilities)

:ss/Dustox:
Pokemon: Dustox
Typing:
1645499315013.png
1645498569827.png

Abilities: Poison Touch / Natural Cure
Stats: 90/105/75/105/80/85
Movepool Additions: Wither Dance, Earth Power, Leech Life, Poltergeist, Heat Wave, Gunk Shot
Movepool Removals: Quiver Dance
Reasoning: Acts as a mixed attacker, which there is not a lot of. Can come in on guemanon and force it out to get up wither dances, and can also pivot out with u-turn when it’s about to faint. Poltergeist was added for rotom, and earth power of the future steel types. Wither dance will make mixed sets really cool to threaten both special and physical walls, pivoting out when it wants to redo it. Poison touch is kinda cool as when you u-turn out u have a chance of leaving the opponent with a status, while natural cure is for all the annoying burns and paras. EDIT: Heat Wave improves steel mu and gunk shot encourages physical sets as well.

:ss/landorus-therian:
Pokemon: Landorous-Therain
Typing:
1645498261178.png

Abilities: Grassy Surge
Stats: 80/110/95/80/80/96
Movepool Additions: Jungle Fang, High Horsepower
Movepool Removals: Knock Off
Reasoning: We lack a ground type and and ground immune so here is one funny one, Gsurge boosts jungle fang, lets it weaken eq for your team and gives passive recovery. Checks eel somewhat but just be weary of aqua tail and gut punch annoys it a bit as it can’t have its passive recovery anymore. Jungle fang is a nice tool for the mon to threaten bulky waters which would otherwise come in for free in it. Pair with blunder policy and make an SD set if your feeling spicy.

Pokemon Name: Zephire (idk + wire and fire)
Typing:
1645570689539.png

Abilities: Short Circuit
Stats: 74/86/114/84/89/100
Movepool:
-Physical: Fire Lash, Flare Blitz, Brave Bird, Drill Peck, Peck, Aerial Ace, Steel Wing, Frustration, Return, Fire Fang
-Special: Flamethrower, Hurricane, Air Slash, Air Cutter, Overheat, Heat Wave, Scorching Sands, Fire Blast, Ember
-Status: Roost, Defog, Whirlwind, Taunt, Will-o-wisp, Tail Wind, Sunny Day, Hone Claws, Focus Energy, Calm Mind
Weight: 30 kg
Visual: A stork with wires for legs and “hair”
Flavor: Zephire have open wire limbs and spark 30-60 times a day. Their sparks are so hot when concentrated they can melt metal.
Reasoning: Fire/Flying typing allows Zephire to switch in on rotom’s will-o-wisps and voltawitches, and check eelektross and guemanon. Fire Lash and taunt can also make Zephire a nice stall breaker, and it can also provide Defog and burn spreading support for your team. Short Circuit eliminates a weakness and pairing it with taunt can make it so opponents won’t be able to heal off that chip.

Calc: 252+ Atk Eelektross Aqua Tail vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Ho-Oh: 188-222 (53.4 - 63%) -- guaranteed 2HKO.
Zephire can take the hit, outspeed and threaten with a willo-wisp

Pokemon: Tentacruel
Typing: Water / Poison
Abilities: Technician / Clear Body | Liquid Ooze
Stats: 85/80/65/110/115/85
Movepool Additions: Wither Dance, Flip Turn

Tentacruel serves as a potent set up sweeper thanks to a decent defendive typing and respectable bulk. STAB Technician Flip Turn, even uninvested, will deal a sizable chunk of damage into opposing threats after being boosted.

Pokemon: Krookodile
Typing: Ground / Grass
Abilities: Intimidate / Own Tempo | Anger Point
Stats: Same as in standard
Movepool Additions: Jungle Fang, Jungle Healing, Hone Claws, Seed Bomb
Movepool Removals: All Dark type moves sans Crunch

A good Physically offensive Grass type that also compresses a Ground type into our ranks is pretty cool. It can bully Eelektross well too.

Pokemon Name: Dracordant ("draco" + "verdant")
Typing: Dragon / Grass
Abilities: Chlorophyll / Prankster / Grassy Surge
Stats
: 86 / 151 / 99 / 60 / 64 / 60 [BST: 520]
Movepool:
-Physical: Jungle Fang, Dual Chop, Scale Shot, Outrage, etc.
-Special: Leaf Storm
-Status: Synthesis,
Weight: 110 kg
Reasoning: Dracordant stands out as a good physical wallbreaker with terrain-boosted STAB Jungle Fang coming off that monstrous Attack stat. Alternatively, it may see some use on Sun teams as a Chlorophyll-boosted sweeper. However, it does struggle against Eelektross due to its 4x Ice weakness and may struggle against Guzzlord. Also, it can take massive damage from the confusion after Jungle Fang's use.

A calc for V1 Eelektross:

252+ Atk Life Orb Dracordant Jungle Fang vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Eelektross in Grassy Terrain: 305-360 (81.5 - 96.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

:ss/manaphy:
Pokemon: Manaphy
Typing: Water / Fairy
Abilities: Short Circuit
Stats: 90 / 70 / 60 / 101 / 70 / 85
Movepool Additions: Moonblast, Draining Kiss, Flip Turn, Life Dew, Nasty Plot
Movepool Removals: none
Reasoning: the one and only tail glow mon. even though tail glow doesn't actually exist, so it has Nasty Plot instead, can do some cool pivotting with Flip Turn, while not dying to something like a Rotom's Volt Switch or Thunderbolt, or Eel's Thunder Punch.

G-Luke's Tentacruel wins for Withering Dance!
Pokemon: Tentacruel
Typing: Water / Poison
Abilities: Technician / Clear Body | Liquid Ooze
Stats: 85/80/65/110/115/85
Movepool Additions: Wither Dance, Flip Turn

Tentacruel serves as a potent set up sweeper thanks to a decent defendive typing and respectable bulk. STAB Technician Flip Turn, even uninvested, will deal a sizable chunk of damage into opposing threats after being boosted.
anaconja's Rillaboom wins for Jungle Fang, along with Nihilego for Short Circuit!
Pokemon: Rillaboom
Typing: Grass
Abilities: Overgrow / Prankster
Stats: 100 / 110 / 90 / 85 / 75 / 70 (530 BST)
Movepool Additions: Jungle Fang, Jungle Healing
Movepool Removals: Swords Dance, Superpower, Hammer Arm, Leech Seed
Reasoning: prankster stuff on fairly offensive mons is pretty cool. this works as an offensive utility mon with a huge stab option with jungle healing as pseudorecovery and burn healing. prankster taunt or bulk up are great too. has some trouble vs the other grass monkey as well as speed issues
Pokemon: Nihilego
Typing: Steel / Poison
Abilities: Clear Body / Short Circuit
Stats: 79 / 53 / 131 / 97 / 67 / 113 (540 BST)
Movepool Additions: Strength Sap, Flash Cannon, Moonblast
Reasoning: fast wall 2. solid switchin into the eel, probably switches into rotom too if evd for it (though doesnt do much besides toxic). has v bad offensive typing meaning its susceptible to being set up on
new slate will drop soon (hopefully), so keep an eye out for that :]

Slate 4 - (Miscellaneous)

1 Type-Based Move or Ability - A move or ability that interacts with the type of the user, opponent, or other moves in some novel way; or has selective effects based on the type of the user, opponent, or other moves.
1 Status-Based Move or Ability - A move or ability that interacts with the status condition ( or temporary status ) of the user or opponent. This includes causing a status condition.
1 Offensive Support Move - A status move focused on helping teammates. It cannot heal them in any way. In general it should focus on helping deal damage, helping set up, or helping shut down certain defensive pokemon or tactics.

It's V.1's slate 4 exactly, lets hope the mod doesn't die this time.

Name: Defensive End
What?: 1 Type-Based Move or Ability
Effect: If this pokemon is moving last on a turn, before this pokemon takes direct damage, it changes into a type that resists the move it is about to be hit by. Resists, not immune.
Description: Make sure you don't give this to anything too bulky or too strong because resisting everything is a very strong effect. The user should have above average speed so it doesn't activate on as many things.

Name: Hibernation
What?: 1 Status-Based Move or Ability
Effect: This pokemon's Def & SpD are 1.5x when this pokemon is asleep.
Description: Funny ability makes resttalk workish so it is a great unique idea with max hp healing and status immunity.

Name: Supply Drop
What?: 1 Offensive Support Move
Type: Flying
Category: Status
BP: ---
Acc: ---%
Max PP: 16
Effect: At the end of the next turn, raises the pokemon on the user's side of field's Att, Def, & SpD by 1.
Description: Wish but boosting stats instead of healing.

Max PP: 32
Accuracy: - %
Effect(s): Changes the target to a type that is weak to the user's first attack.

Move Name:
Category: Status
Type:
Max PP: 32
Accuracy: 100%
Effect(s): Lowers target's Def, Sp. Def by 1. User switches.
Attributes: Bounceable
Reasoning: its parting shot but much more potent for wallbreakers

Feeling a bit grim today, so let's do this.

Type-Based Ability:

Ability Name
: Sneak Ahead
Description: If a Pokémon with this ability is at 75% HP or higher, their Dark-type moves get +1 priority.
Reasoning: It's Gale Wings but a bit better (well, after-nerf). Dark isn't that good of an offensive type as Flying, but good attackers can destroy with this move.

Status-Based Move:

Move Name
: Phantasmic Strike
Category: Physical
Type:

Base Power: 120
Max PP: 13 [16]
Accuracy: 85%
Effect(s): User disappears on the first turn of this move's use. If target is paralyzed, this attack does 1.5x damage.
Effect Chance: N/A
Attributes: Contact, Two-Turn
Reasoning: Name a good Ghost-type physical move. You can't, can you? This aims to rectify that, as Phantasmic Strike does a lot of damage and is helpful when paired with a fast attacker.

Offensive Support Move:

Move Name
: Malicious Insurgence
Category: Special
Type:

Base Power: 40
Max PP: 13 [16]
Accuracy: 90%
Effect(s): Two turns after this move is used, the Active Pokémon's Special Attack is raised 3 stages.
Effect Chance: N/A
Attributes: none
Reasoning: A good setup move that works even if you switch out into something else.

Feeling a bit grim today, so let's do this.

Type-Based Ability:

Ability Name
: Sneak Ahead
Description: While this ability is active, any Dark-type Pokémon on the field gain +1 priority to all of their moves.
Reasoning: This ability is a good weapon for any support Pokémon, as it lets their allies gain priority. Dark types like Moxie Krookodile are going to go off with this ability.

Status-Based Move:

Move Name
: Phantasmic Strike
Category: Physical
Type:

Base Power: 120
Max PP: 13 [16]
Accuracy: 85%
Effect(s): User disappears on the first turn of this move's use. If target is paralyzed, this attack does 1.5x damage.
Effect Chance: N/A
Attributes: Contact, Two-Turn
Reasoning: Physical Ghost-types (ex. Dragapult, Golurk, and Mimikyu) have no good STAB moves besides the middling Shadow Claw and the 40 BP priority move in Shadow Sneak (Dragapult also gets Phantom Force, but eh...). This aims to rectify that, as Phantasmic Strike does a lot of damage and is helpful when paired with fast attackers.

Offensive Support Move:

Move Name
: Malicious Insurgence
Category: Special
Type:

Base Power: 70
Max PP: 13 [16]
Accuracy: 100%
Effect(s): Sets Blackout Terrain. One turn after this move is used, the Active Pokémon's Special Attack is raised 1 stage.
Effects: Dark-type moves have 1.3x power. Any Electric-type move fails as long as this terrain is up.
Effect Chance: N/A
Attributes: none
Reasoning: Dark-types are significantly hindered in the Terrain department, as Sucker Punch does absolutely nothing in Psychic Terrain. This move lets them stop other Terrain playstyles, especially Alolan Raichu's Surge Surfer.
Not sure if you know this, but
a) This is a singles based Pet Mod, so Sneak Around will not be supporting allies, it will be operating mostly as a Dark typed Gen 6 Gale Wings.
b) I am not sure ypu can create custom Field Effects, at least within the grounds of this slate. So I am not sure if your Offensive Support move is legal.
c) This is a micrometa, so alot of the references you mention in your post are just not a thing, and also letting you know everything made is essentially signatures for the Pokemon in question, because I got the feeling the ghost move was being made with the intention of it being widely distributed, from how it was worded.

offensive support move
Move Name: Jovial Drums
Category:
1646609327272.png

Type:
1646694496281.png

Base Power: 0
Priority: 0
Max PP: 16
Accuracy: %
Effect(s): Switches out the user and the replacement gets the effect [Morale Boost], which boosts the power of their next attacking move by 1.3x and prevents them from being statused for 5 turns.
Effect Chance: 100%
Attributes: Sound, Not Bounceable
Reasoning: Offensive pokemon hate status, weather be poison that puts their sweeps on a timer, para which can can completely cripple an offensive Pokémon, or burn which screws over any physical attacker that’s not fire type or has guts. This move lets you fit in safeguard with a pivot move for sweepers of the likes of dragonite and volcarona. The secondary effect of Morale Boost is also great to hit so you get to launch one free life orb boosted attack which is always helpful to break up defensive cores.

ability that interacts with a typing
Ability Name: Savage Greed
Description: This Pokémon takes the secondary typing of any Pokémon it attacks. (Takes away the target’s secondary typing and gives it tho the user. If they only have a primary typing, takes the primary typing as the users secondary typing and leaves the target with its primary typing. Even if the user already has a secondary typing, this ability replaces it, even if that typing was stolen.)
Reasoning: Fun ability to mess around with typings being able to steel potentially amazing defensive types like steel or fairy, or take offensive typings to abuse ur other moves with. Could be cool on a pursuit trapper to guarantee you get the typing you want.

Move that interacts with a status
Move Name: Curated Fist
Category:
1646623134777.png

Type:
1646623197319.png

Base Power: 70
Priority: 0
Max PP: 32
Accuracy: 100%
Effect(s): Deals double damage on a statused Pokémon and cures their status. Has a 50% chance to inflict the target with a random status. (Poison, Burn, Paralysis)
Effect Chance: 50%
Attributes: Contact, Boosted by sheer force
Reasoning: A status spreading move that also abuses status, but you end up curing them in the process as well once you abuse it.

Thank you for your help, I made changes to the subs

Ability Name:Multifaceted
Description: This pokemon’s STAB attacks are physical or special based on their higher attacking stat.
Reasoning: I noticed that a lot of pokemon have either extensive physical movepools with really low attack or expansive special movepools with really low attack so I created an ability to take advantage of this.

1 Type-Based Move or Ability
Move Name: Disruptive Energy
Category: Special
Type: Psychic
Base Power: 100
Max PP: 24
Accuracy: 100%
Effect: If any Electric-type moves are to be used this turn they instead fail.
Reasoning: My main idea for this was sorta putting a spin on the mechanic that Plasma Fists uses, but instead of turning Normal-type moves into Electric-type moves and then said moves getting absorbed by Zeroara's ability, it basically straight up nullifies Electric-type moves. This effectively gives the user an immunity in the form of a move.

1 Status-Based Move or Ability
Ability Name:
Sickly Aura
Description: If this Pokemon is statused then its defenses are 1.25x.
Reasoning: I wanted to make a special equivalent to Marvel Scale, but then decided to do it for both defense for a lower multiplier. I think this ability would be incredible on a bulky Pokemon, or a Pokemon that needs the boost to its defenses.

1 Offensive Support Move
Move Name: Power Shift
Category: Status
Type: Psychic
Base Power: -
Max PP:
8
Accuracy:
-
Effect:
The user switches out, the Pokemon switching in copies the user's offensive stats, including any stat boosts to their defenses.
Reasoning: I think this is a creative twist on Parting Shot, with instead of lowering the opponents offenses, you give you (potentially more powerful) offenses to the partner switching in, which could certainly make other Pokemon much more volatile.

Move Name: Conversion 3
Category: Status
Type: Normal
Base Power: ---
Max PP: however many the others have
Accuracy: ---
Effect(s): Gives the user a random primary and secondary type.
Attributes: Whatever Conversion has
Reasoning: Somehow this isn't even a Duomod idea I just came up with it three seconds ago and thought it would be funny + semi-practical

1 Status-based Move
Move Name: Scorched Leaves
Category: Special
Type: Grass
Base Power: 90
Max PP: 16
Accuracy: 100%
Effect: If this Pokemon is burnt, the move turns into Fire type and turns into 110 BP.
Reasoning: i kid you not i only got the idea today when i saw someone burn a leaf. been thinking about a move that's affected once the user is statused and here's what i got

the rest will come later hopefully c(-( i said, yk, like a liar
