As of right now, I don’t want to overcomplicate things too much by buffing moves and abilities in the same submissions as fakemon, but it might be cool to have a specific slate solely focusing on buffing pre-existing moves and abilities in the future. It’s a little tough as you’ve got to consider that buffing these will also effect the submissions of others however.Question: When designing new mons or revamping old ones, can we also make changes to existing moves and abilities? I've got a fakemon I designed a while ago that I'll be keeping in my pocket until we get to a good region for it, but two of the things that make it neat rely on a subpar move and a subpar ability getting buffed.

Uh.... No Retreat isn't an ability... it's a move.Abilities: No Retreat
Oh I forgot about thatUh.... No Retreat isn't an ability... it's a move.
I probably should have stated this in the rules, but its probably not a great idea to include trapping abilities like Arena Trap and Shadow Tag, especially on a 531 BST mon with 111 Attack. I’d suggest maybe altering the ability to function as a magnet pull clone, trapping only one specific type. Additionally, Ashvalry already seems to fill the role of an extremely threatening Unburden sweeper. For Phantaja, can you provide an explanation on what the ability Trunk Point is? I will say though that I love the concept behind these Pokemon and am looking forward to seeing more!Pokemon: Ashvalry
Typing: Ground/Fighting
Stats: 79/111/99/61/99/82 (BST: 531)
AbilitIes: Battle Armor, Unburden, Arena Trap
Notable Moves: Earthquake, Close Combat, High Horsepower, Swords Dance, Mach Punch, Drain Punch, Body Press, Stealth Rock
Height/Weight: 3'6" 45 kg
Design/Flavor: Ashvalry is a horse-like Pokemon that wears armor. It is based on the chess knight.
Competitive: Ashvalry makes for a decent trapper in the Indian OU meta. It has decent Attack and well-rounded defenses, but it is not able to take advantage of Arena Trap to revenge kill because of its below-average Speed. Nonetheless, it is able to serve as an entry hazard stacker and a wallbreaker. It can potentially run three sets: Choice Band, Choice Scarf, and Swords Dance.
Pokemon: Phantaja
Type: Normal/Fighting
Stats: 81/67/81/120/87/95
AbilitIes: Trunk Point, Thick Fat, Limber
Notable Moves: Boomburst, Aura Sphere, Earth Power, Nasty Plot, Dark Pulse
Height/Weight: 5'9" 66 kg
Design/Flavor: Phantaja is an elephant-like Pokemon that is immensely decorated. It is based on the chess bishops, which were based on war elephants.
Competitive: Phantaja, unlike its pre-evolution and fellow Padatry evolutions, is a special attacker. I think it would not fare well, since its STAB moves are not able to hit Ghost-types, and has to rely on coverage, which it has in Dark Pulse.
Although it is definitely on the more powerful side, I’d say Gengar would probably be fine as long As there are plenty of special walls and options for revenge killing it. As this is a Pet Mod, it can always be slightly nerfed if it proves to be overbearing.Ideas for normal mons native here:
Cufant Family
These guys are based on Indian Elephants imported into Galar for manpower. This region could be like their home region in a way.
Pichu Family
These guys are a tie-in to a Pokedex entry for Raichu stating it can cause an indian elephant to faint
Gastly Family
These guys are a tie-in to a Pokedex entry for Gastly stating it can topple an indian elephant.
EDIT: Does Gengar push the power level too far? Or is it ok to have in the metagame?
Staraptor, Arcanine, Mudsdale and the Musketeers can use it despite the lack of fists among othersI don't know how Close Combat works as a move like whetherit uses hands or what. Is there some kind of a dex entry of moves for that?
