No need to apologize for your rejections, RedwoodRogue. It's your mod after all, and I basically submitted my last entry last minute, which is part of things were so forced. I hope that these entries are more acceptable and logical (and balanced):
Pokémon: Bellossom
Ability Modified: Healer
New Ability Name: Weaver
New Ability Effect: "Whenever this Pokémon successfully affects an opposing Pokémon with one of its Grass moves, it also lowers that Pokémon's Speed by one stage."
Typing: Grass/Fairy {added Fairy typing}
Stats: 075 HP / 080 Atk / 090 Def / 110 SpA / 110 SpD / 060 Spe {-05 Def, +20 SpA, +10 Spe, +10 Spe = +35 BST → 525 BST}
Movepool Changes: gains Mystical Fire {since unfortunately most Fairies get it and this
is a Sun-related mon} and Revelation Dance {which would be Grass type}; loses Strength Sap {since that move would be even more busted with Weaver}
Competitive Role: Basically a threatening Quiver Dance of the non-Volcarona variety that is more of a team player and doesn't have to rely on Quiver Dance to be worthwhile, though most of the time it will likely still be used for that. As such, it took a slight hit to its Defense just so that it's easier to knock out on that side, with Strength Sap leaving in part for the same reason as well as the aforementioned fact that it would basically make Weaver broken. Really not much to say behind that outside of the fact that Weaver is themed on around the fact that grass skirts like the ones Bellossom "wears" have to be woven out of plants, hence why this ability triggers by Grass moves and only Grass moves; the Fairy type is mostly because
Fairy is a busted type Comfey is a lei and because I wanted this to still resist both Grass and Water, so unfortunately Grass/Water and Grass/Fire were out.
Pokémon: Dewgong
Ability Modified: Thick Fat
New Ability Name: Icy Fat
New Ability Effect: "Electric-type and Rock-type moves used against this Pokémon deal half their damage." {a.k.a. Thick Fat for Electric and Rock moves but worded to explicitly include Stealth Rock damage too.}
Typing: Water/Ice {no change}
Stats: 090 HP / 060 Atk / 080 Def / 100 SpA / 095 SpD / 100 Speed {-10 Atk, +30 SpA, +30 Spe = +50 BST → 525 BST; R.I.P. using Megahorn}
Movepool Changes: gains Flash Cannon, Flip Turn, Freeze-Dry {geez, it didn't even have this already?}, Knock Off, and Shadow Ball.
Competitive Role: Gods, for a Gen 1 mon that was never great to begin with, that Game Freak has utterly neglected this poor mon shows from its terrible original stats to its desolate original movepool that is
so barren that Game Freak didn't even bother to give it Freeze-Dry
or Flip Turn even though they went out of their way to give it Smart Strike--the hell? While I hate having to buff stats and/or movepools this much, much less do both at once, I think it's still relatively tame given how middling its stats still are and given both Lapras and Walrein already break 530 BST anyway. The niche of this is to be a supportive Water/Ice mon that's actually has decent speed instead of being stuck at 70 or less base Spe like literally every other Water/Ice in addition to now being able to clear away hazards one-sidedly without actually losing a quarter of its health to Stealth Rock (since glaciers are pretty hard) unless it somehow wears boots; at least
someone finally learned from the abject failure of Avalugg on that front instead of just making another version that's probably still bad, especially since it still doesn't even resist Rock. So Icy Fat exists to give Dewgong that niche as well as the niche of the only Water that type that isn't weak to Electric--due to Ice being a poor conductor, which would make a fine resist for Ice to actually have--that doesn't either explode if a Grass attack or Freeze-Dry so much as grazes it or have Electric itself as its secondary typing. Finally, speaking of Freeze-Dry, Dewgong remains one of few Water mons that is actually neutral to that move overall, though ironically losing Thick Fat means it can no longer resist it, which is basically the only time that being octuply resistant to Ice originally ever matters otherwise; I think it's a more than fair trade given the buffs I've given Dewgong.
EDIT: Thanks for the correction, anaconja. Sigh, I must have missed that in the first post.
"There was an Escavalier here. It's gone now."
Pokémon: Armaldo
Ability Modified: Battle Armor
New Ability Name: Brine Armor
New Ability Effect: "This Pokémon can't be burned. When this Pokémon is at 50% of its max HP or less, its Water-type and Bug-type do 1.2x more damage."
Typing: Water/Bug {Rock replaced by Water}
Stats: 080 HP / 130 Atk / 105 Def / 075 SpA / 095 SpD / 045 Spe (+05 HP, +05 Atk, +10 Def, +05 SpA, +15 SpD, -05 Spe = +35 BST → 530 BST)
Movepool Changes: gains First Impression, Scald, and U-Turn; loses Meteor Beam and Stone Edge.
Competitive Role: This would have the niche of bulky, strong revenge killer that's also a slow pivot and supportive mon that can both set-up hazards and remove them too, basically like a more specially bulky, slightly stronger Golisopod
without an ability that backfires a lot of the time. While its priority attacks are rather strong even before any boot items or its ability is fully active, like Golisopod, it's is held in check on that front by the fact that neither of its STABs are particularly abusive on that front offensively in addition to Aqua Jet having low base power. Finally, it also has the niche of a physical (Water) mon that can actually switch into Scald (or, gasp, actual Fire attacks) without worrying about getting Burned and becoming more or less useless for the rest of the match.
