Silly Things You've Seen In Other Metagames

Okay seriously, is Mix and Mega just that attractive to bad players, or is it just the perfect example of people not knowing anything about the meta they're playing?
Both.

That Charizardite X Staraptor is glorious, by the way. Almost as much as that Latiasite Crobat, which is gold, and meme-worthy.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/mixandmega-470870976
What is even left's movesets in this match. Also, this has got to be the stupidest thing...
Xerneas used Horn Leech!
It's not very effective... The opposing Heatran lost 3% of its health!

Dear god. Someone take this one.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/mixandmega-471966067
Regular Light Ball Pikachu tries to Volt Tackle Groudon-Primal, Greninja with Torrent using Hydro Pump and Blizzard. Guess who forfeits.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/mixandmega-471946779
Two people don't know how to play the meta. Features Ho-Oh Psychic, Non-mega Mewtwo, level 50 Diancie-Mega, and ★gabriel 4922:you gay

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/mixandmega-471942069
★legandary kid: lets go loser
★Cartsoul: Will see who is the loser.
★Cartsoul: *we'll
★legandary kid: okay then play or I will go and batlle a better aponet
★Cartsoul: I already chose my lead.
★legandary kid: this will be eaysy I will go hard on you I am going to use my best one

Legandary kid uses his best one, a level 99 shiny non-Mega Solarbeam-spamming Rayquaza named electro.
...sometimes I question humanity.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/mixandmega-471938392
Air Balloon Gliscor, Torrent Quick Claw Greninja using Dive and Bounce, non-mega Hawlucha, this is a mess.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/mixandmega-471909773
Regular megas, Force Palm + Calm Mind + Iron Tail Lucario-Mega, special Tyranitar-Mega.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/mixandmega-471891297
More people who don't know how to play the meta.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/mixandmega-471846959
Regular megas, Magic Bounce fail, and trying to use Destiny Bond on a tank.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/mixandmega-471841832
As you can see from the team preview, Pedro is not a pro.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/mixandmega-471790810
Either Raikou is OP, or someone is just stupid. I'm thinking both.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/mixandmega-471754539
Pidgeotite Victini goes against the world. The world has a really bad team.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/balancedhackmons-471953057
★Zynshark:sorry had to poo poo
He also forfeits when one of his 6 Deoxys-A's gets poisoned.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-472017404
6 SwagPlay Klefkis almost beat Ash's subpar team, with Garchomp using Twister repeatedly before coming to his senses and using Brick Break.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-472016069
Mono-Ghost team and Murkrow can't handle Milotic.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-472013146
All cat team can't handle Vaporeon.
★kittykombo: ur a noob
kittykombo forfeited.
Seki The Vampire won the battle!
kittykombo left.

But seriously, Flowey isn't a damn mushroom.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-472011495
...why.

Yep, will do.
[L] Three Ghost types that do approximately the same thing is probably not a good team composition.
[L] Tries to Will-O-Wisp a Servine... that's pretty obviously going to try and put up a Sub.
[L] Spite Dusknoir. Also, it's pointless to do that on something burned.
[L] The Dusknoir also uses Haze on Florges. No, not everything is going to set up on you.
[L] This.
★wroth: how did you go first
Is.
★wroth: i was scarfed
Incredibly.
★piikiki4: Did you use Roar?
DUMB.
★wroth: oh yeah lol
[Both] How is that Aggron faster than Servine..? Is it ALSO scarved?
All this leads to a Sevine sweep.

Now then, I consulted the RNG lords. ...They gave me a Dustox. So I tried to make the most of the team I was given... so here's a few matches from them.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/mixandmega-472168339
The best way to deal with Entei is clearly to get burned and then get a crit Facade. Also, Diancite Espeon is questionable.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/mixandmega-472170673
Gourgiest is confirmed Groudon counter, people forgetting about Latiasite, and Skarmory taking on a Metagross.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/mixandmega-472176372
Night Shade Mega Banette. Also, my opponent getting impatient, and silly Aegislash playing, too.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/mixandmega-472236160
Unfortunately quite short, as the person forfeits after his first mon falls. A Rock Tomb Steelixite Tyranitar.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/mixandmega-472238142
Special Primal Groudon (okay...) Special Mega Gyarados (really dumb, but you already knew that) and a Swoobat sweep.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/mixandmega-472241476
This is quite possibly the dumbest Gengar fight out there. Also, it has both Shadow Ball and Dark Pulse. Also, another Levitate fail. Someone can take this one if they want.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/mixandmega-472244729
A pretty intense match where the team manages to hold its own.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/mixandmega-472250225
An even more intense match that comes down to a pretty strange showdown...

EDIT:
http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/mixandmega-472391132
This one's pretty bizarre. Someone cover this.

(On a good note, someone finally found a good use of Talonflame in MnM...)

(On a good note, someone finally found a good use of Talonflame in MnM...)
[R] Lopunny. It gets worse from there.
[L] Fake Out + Fire Blast.
[R] Non-mega Magnezone.
[R] Non-mega Tyranitar.
[L] Venusaurite Yanmega. I can see where this guy is going but 86/94/126/138/76/95 isn't very viable.
[R] Non-mega Lopunny using Thunderbolt.
[L] Banettite Talonflame is actually pretty good.
[R] RestTalk Kyurem-B.
[R] ...when it wakes up it uses Outrage on the Klefki.
[L] Also, Sablenite Klefki is subpar, sitting at 57 base HP.
[R] Iron Head Dialga. He obviously didn't notice the glaring 150 SpA he could've used. Well, he does, utilizing Blizzard.
[L] Switches in Absol (now a Fairy) when the Dialga revealed a Steel type move.
[L] Latiosite Raikou.
[R] AURA SPHERE.
[L] Hidden Power Ice. He sweeps with it because Tyranitar spams Earthquake when it obviously has Levitate.

Ice mono and some interesting move choices. Avalugg wins.

More weird move choices, especially Rock Slide+Zap Cannon Registeel.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/1v1-472841146
Lone Beautifly. Despite a super effective Natural Gift, it loses to Swords Dance+Fire Blast Charizard-X.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-472848533
Double-Edge Blissey, Psychic normal Metagross, and more.

★Retroman000: You're hoping my mega houndoom is choiced? :p

The opposing Froslass lost 99.7% of its health!
[Opposing Froslass's Cursed Body!]
Politoed's Surf was disabled!
The opposing Froslass used Taunt!
Politoed fell for the taunt!
Turn 2
MagikingPro withdrew Froslass!
MagikingPro sent out Gawd (Shedinja)!
Politoed has no moves left!
Politoed used Struggle!
The opposing Gawd lost 100% of its health!
Politoed is damaged by the recoil!
The opposing Gawd fainted!

Charizard-Y defeats Hyper Beam Mega Altaria with a little help from hax.

What about that sunfloria on left?
Also, on the d-nite one, why is he using Dragon dance when he could be going for smashing his enemies? for that matter, why isn't that spore breloom?
Same goes for SD Zard X; why would you do such a thing (especially when you're mixed at best), cause in 1v1 immediate power is pretty much the name of the game.

In accordance with some silly thing that happened yesterday, here's some really silly matches.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/mixandmega-473053156
Yes, that's Emolga. No, it's not mega.
IT'S HOLDING A QUICK CLAW.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/mixandmega-473056158
Wow. Protect spam Blastoise and a very lucky Metronome.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-473059162
Starts out normal, but then the Entei and the subsequent Uxie happen.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-473059972
I thought this would not belong here after seeing the first turns. I was terribly, TERRIBLY, wrong.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ru-472834384
Non-mega Charizard with Acrobatics and Choice Band Blastoise highlight this one.
That's an RU match, which is why that Charizard isn't mega. Dragon Tail regular Charizard and Choice Band Blastoise is still pretty strange.

(L) Ghost mono.
(R) PDon using Hammer Arm. On Shedinja.
(R) Regigigas using Earth Power twice, then Superpower, on Shedinja.
(R) Moltres and Klinklang, thought they weren't sent out.
Shame R forfeited on us. I wanted to see the rest of the mons.

I must have accidentally clicked that one while I was scouring the replay page looking for OM replays. Derp.

Oh, you are simply the best. You found a great one.

[R] Wobbuffet. Why are you using this in Mix and Mega please stop
[L] The three tried and true Unova starters on one team. You could do worse.
[L] Mixed Blazikenite Emboar is a thought.
[R] Slowbronite Aggron is a far worse thought.
[R] Metagrossite Ninjask is good...
[R] ...But not when you're using Façade on an Emboar.
[R] Red Orb Hoopa is actually pretty neat. Minus the fact you need to go mixed/physical.
[L] Samurott gets bopped by a good play. To be fair, you don't have many switches.
[L] Luarionite Nidoqueen checks out.
[R] HERACRONIE WOBBUFFET.
[Both] Wobbuffet KOs something without trapping. What.
[L] Flash Cannon Mega Mawile.
[R] Mewtwonite X Rampardos. You know, for those times when you want to destroy the world?
[L] Sceptilite Serperior... uses Magical Leaf. It was underwhelming.
[L] Why did you heat Wave a Rampardos?
[R] Alakazite Chandleure.
[L] Heracross uses Fury Cutter on said Chandleure.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/mixandmega-473329056
Yes, that's Dream Eater Mega Houndoom. And then a forfeit.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/mixandmega-473755938
Two more people come into Mix and Mega using only standard megas.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/balancedhackmons-474083680
Doesn't look so bad at team preview. I thought this would be an actual challenging match.
Oh, how wrong I was. This might possibly be the most incompetent player ever. Even worse because he's using an actual team, which mens he knows enough about the meta to either build it or steal it.

Edit: Sorry if you're reading this, Card Master XX. I just now remembered my risky plays that didn't work out while in a stressful situation, and assume that the same happened to you after turn 1.

So I have yet another RNG Mix and Mega team, and some pretty dumb battles to boot.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/mixandmega-473971249
Dream Eater Mega Altaria and Giga Impact Mega Diancie are among the many problems that this battle has.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/mixandmega-473974659
It seems okay at team preview, and then the Excadrill doesn't mega. It only gets worse from there.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/mixandmega-473988392
I do a particularly boneheaded play myself in this one, but Wailord (not the same one as last time) proves it can destroy things just fine.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/mixandmega-473992755
Fairly normal until Turn 19, in which a really big misplay happens.

Stunfisk is annoying to a bad team.

Right used Fire moves under Primordial Sea.

SIX TURNS IN A ROW.

Also, Eruption Mega Camerupt is terrible in any weather.

(L) Three Deoxys formes. At least Deoxys-N was not one of them.
(L) Deoxys-S' Ice Beam doing very little to Chesnaught. It also had Psyshock, which will likely be doing more damage.
(R) Not really silly, but Chesnaught pulls a double Spiky Shield on turns 5 and 6.
(R) Chesnaught then decides to spam Drain Punch on Deoxys instead of maybe putting up more Spikes.
(R) Air Balloon Magnet Rise Probopass. God help us all if Rotom-S ever gets Magnet Rise.
(L) Deoxys-A uses Extreme Speed on Sylveon. Pretty sure you don't need priority here. Predictably, it promptly dies to Hyper Voice.
(L) Thunderbolt+Mega Kick+Aerial Ace Deoxys-D.
(L) Dragon Claw Arceus-Water. While bad enough on its own, he makes it even worse by using it on Sylveon.
(L) Darkrai tries to put Mega Gardevoir to sleep twice in a row, when the first attempt worked. Gardevoir promptly wakes up and kills Darkrai with Hyper Voice.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/mixandmega-474220915

...Could someone take this one, please? I'm terrible at doing write-ups and I don't even know where to start with this one.
I got this one.

[L] This is an RNG team even more than my own breed. This ought to be good.
[R] I can smell a MnM fool's team when I see one.
[L] Swampertite Accelgor.
[R] That Lopunny has both Jump Kick AND High Jump Kick. It uses both on a Shedinja.
[R] Draco Meteors, obliterating that Stantler. I'm not going to call that a prediction.
[L] Altarinite Lunimeon, with a pretty good set of moves.
[R] What do you do to a Lumineon? Fire Blast it with an Audino. It later reveals Draining Kiss.
[R] Also, that Audino is just the regular mega, when it has so many better stones to use.
[L] TYRANITARITE Gorebyss. That's a whole next level of silly.
[R] Jirachi Drain Punches and Dazzling Gleams that Accelgor. Don't you have STAB?
[R] Rayquaza uses Overheat to finish off a weak Accelgor, which was a big mistake..
[L] ...When Sharpedonite Shaymin proceeds to stall out the rest of the team.
[L] ★RNG made me do it: aw, i wanted to finish it with cameruptite shedinja. x.x
At least it isn't Abomsite Shedinja.

...And then there's this match.
http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/mixandmega-474258130
This is so incompetent. Someone take this one.
