Silly Things You've Seen In Other Metagames

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-469308252
Nasty Plot Water Pulse Persian, attempting to set up Mega Metagross in the face of Hoopa-U, and is that a Scarf Clawitzer?

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-469303040
Magic Bounce fail, Thunder Punch + Eruption Typhlosion, Dragon Dance non-Mega Charizard, and more.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-469299826
Is this a lvl50 OU battle? With Donphan & another bunch of outclassed mons?

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-469303494
Aerodactyl vs. the world. The world has questionable sets. Guess the winner.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-469302833
Among other things, AV Clawitzer. Also, Sub won't save you from Skill Link Cloyster.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-469301354
Weather wars feat. mono-Fire and questionable sets.
★MinalSwag: FIRE SPAM?????
That's on Turn 14.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-469298395
Eruption Typhlosion is devastating here but it is still not good (that article is for RU but half still can be applied here). Also, the chat. Someone doesn't know how powerful Eruption actually is, btw.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-469299080
Having a lone Zoroark defeats the entire point of Illusion. You know something is wrong when the world leads with Arceus-Ghost. This one ends pretty much like the Aerodactyl vs. the world one.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-469298777
Blizzard Poison Point Nidoking. An early Mega Gyarados sweep prevents us from seeing more.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-469295742
Arceus spam vs... what?
Lucario / Zangoose / Scolipede / Manectric / Tyrantrum / Palpitoad
Also that Arceus-Flying had no business facing Tyrantrum (and Arceus-Flying at all).
★Ynnick: omg its so lame
Maybe if you bring a decent team...

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-469296745
More legendary bashing, and Eevee. Right has CM Klafki while left has very bad sets while making equally bad plays.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-469298191
A Zoroark disguised as Shuckle causes a forfeit,.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-469297390
Lone Aerodactyl guy again. This time at least it Mega Evolves. Same results as battles before.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-469293758
And here we have it again with a lone Primeape vs. one of the worst worlds.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-469283993
Non-Flash Fire Houndoom, Tangrowth 1v1ing a bad Arcanine and the worst Abomasnow I've ever seen, everything from turns 20-22, and more.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-469294862
Trick + Full Incense. That's a new one. Also, Sucker Punch Meowstic-M, a Escavalier named "BIGGEST POKE", a bad Klefki set, and Switcheroo + Iron Ball... that later left Knocks Off anyway.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-469291694
Marowak vs. the world. The world has mono-Mewtwo, and a bad one at that.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-469286874
Keeping with monos, right has a horrible mono-Togetic.
The opposing Togetic's Quick Claw let it move first!
The opposing Togetic used Soft-Boiled!
But it failed!
Gliscor used Toxic!
The opposing Togetic was badly poisoned!
The opposing Togetic was hurt by poison!
Turn 14
★RafaelDevante: man
★RafaelDevante: whats your tactic

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/giftsofthegods-467733667
Sad that's the last GotG replay. Someone take this one.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/balancedhackmons-469292402
BH low ladder nonsense. This one needs a list:
(R) Dragonite and Greninja
(L) Prankster Regice with Cosmic Power / Toxic Spikes / Stealth Rock / Hyper Beam
(R) Trace Mega Alakazam is questionable
(R) Thunder / Hidden Power / Outrage / Discharge Mega Ampharos
(R) Dragonite knows Dazzling Gleam / Brick Break / Body Slam / Aqua Tail
(L) Hone Claws / Confuse Ray / Precipice Blades Sturdinja
(R) Earthquake Drought Groudon
(R) Water Shuriken Skill Link? Greninja
(R) Energy Ball + Grass Knot Mega Sceptile
(R) Can't handle Sturdinja at all

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/balancedhackmons-469067305
Arceus everywhere with bad sets. Bulk Up (what is Coil?) / Storm Throw / Knock Off / Extreme Speed Arceus sweeps.
The opposing Zoroark used Knock Off!
Garchomp lost 100% of its health!
The opposing Zoroark knocked off Garchomp's Galladite!

What on earth? (From the zoroark battle)

A lot of the 1 mon vs things in Anything Goes posted in the last page or so are because of a thread on the Pokemon Sun board on GameFAQs where someone names a Pokemon and someone else tries to 6-0 a team(forfeits don't count) using only that Pokemon on the AG ladder, I recognize a lot of the names seen in this thread.
That makes a lot of sense. GameFAQs tends to do a lot of nonsense like that, awful Fire Emblem boards and all

Part 3 of AG RNG Battles with DaRandomBro is here! Interesting battles this time around, and an interesting team too.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-469694265
CM Mega Latias sweep ft. a game of Guess the Mega along with questionable decisions, on my part but mostly his

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-469696070
Turn 1

Gatita used Hypnosis!
The opposing Lugia fell asleep!

The opposing Lugia is fast asleep.
Turn 2

Gatita used Knock Off!
It's super effective! The opposing Lugia lost 16% of its health!
Gatita knocked off the opposing Lugia's Choice Band!
Gatita lost some of its HP!
The opposing Lugia woke up!

The opposing Lugia used Aeroblast!
Gatita lost 90.4% of its health!

Gatita fainted!

blu84 forfeited.

Vigoroth proceeds to defeat an entire team of Ubers before the opposing player forfeits. If someone wants to take this fully be my guest.

Well that was this segment of AG RNG Battles with DaRandomBro! I'll be back sometime later with another randomly generated team.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/mixandmega-469876250
Instant forfeit, after calling the opponent a noob. Then their opponent and I had a nice, calm discussion.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/mixandmega-469870623
The match that led me to this guy, ft. me being an idiot, but not as much as the other guy.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/mixandmega-469878098
Not mega-ing immidiately certainly isn't normal. My opponent still won, though. And a rather fun chat. Silly things that just so happened to screw you over in Other Metagames?

GameFAQs... only a select few boards on there are actually any good.
Only a select few battles in this thread are any good, as well. But we do that on purpose.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/balancedhackmons-469879223
Left cannot handle Bad Dreams Mega Alakazam.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-469879946
Life Orb Giga Impact Snorlax... It causes a forfeit.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-469884027
Granbull versus the world. Unfortunately, the world is mono-Talonflame.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-469883345
An incredibly bad Eeveelution team with a Diancie on one side, and silly legendaries on the other. Someone take this one.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-469886027
daangruntjes left.
daangruntjes disconnected and has a minute to reconnect!
daangruntjes has 60 seconds left.
DabAsorusRex forfeited.

It happened again. Also, this has Inferno/Flamethrower Flash Fire Ninetails.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/balancedhackmons-469892620
....Belly Drum Blissey and offensive Shuckle. Also, only a few mons on each side.

An incredibly bad Eeveelution team with a Diancie on one side, and silly legendaries on the other. Someone take this one.
Swift/draining kiss first sylvion
Moonblast second sylvion
Glaceon using ice shard against a full health arceus
Every arceus has judgement, which is a little strange (though not on the level of some of the other stuff we've seen on this thread)
Jolteon using thunder fang on groundon insted of switching
Said Groundon has swagger
perish song arceus fairy

Pardon the double post, but I just took my randomized AG team out for a spin.
TIBot somehow blessed me with... this team, which is silly in of itself. (The only things I did to change it was making Shaymin Shaymin Sky, and evolving the Phanpy)
And of course, the AG ladder is still silly.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-470194236
I'm promptly greeted by mono-Dittos. The first of which had Berry Juice, of all items.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-470197540
Yes, Scald and Leech Seed the Manaphy. See how far that takes you.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-470201396
Deerling and Oddish. Also, a forfeit when that Xerneas could have decimated the whole team.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-470202612
COMBEE. At least it used Tailwind.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-470199408
Left's team wasn't too egregious, but the quote at the beginning seals the deal.
★CorneliusLlaverly: *eyes them Legendaries*
(To be fair, Manaphy does count for this...)

And then there's this battle.
http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-470249772
Luxray with what appears to be mono-Electric moves is the biggest threat, and so much more in terms of movesets.

Bad team cannot deal with my Altarianite Entei. Also, right has no understanding of the Fairy type.

Also, I ran into Bright Powder Cena (not going to tag because its not that important), but whatever he's going to find on the MnM ladder will be entertaining.

EDIT: hehe this replay:

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/mixandmega-470372007

(R) If they were going for electric_gamer, they spelt it wrong.
(R) All of the Pokemon have their own mega stones, except for Volc, which doesn't have one.
(R) Volc has Flamethrower and Fire Blast.
(R) Mega Gallade.
(R) Confuse Ray + Shadow Ball on the Mega Gallade.
(R) Gallade chooses to use CC instead of Shadow Ball.
(R) Right doesn't understand that Fairy is immune to Dragon.
(R) Aura Sphere MMX.
(R) Entire team is wrecked by Pixilate ESpeed.

Okay, this one is more a matter of me not thinking. My friend and I play a BH match against each other every week.

One of my favorite sets to use against him is Contrary Draco Meteor/Psycho Boost/Leaf Storm. I used it on a slow Pokemon, so I ran Agility.

Yeah, you can probably figure out the end of this story yourself :)

Soon, it'll be time for me to return to form, but first... some random battles that were out there.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-470262090
Wow, that Calm Mind Mewtwo X just swept.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-470420543
The last of my recorded AG matches so far. This one has a Meditite.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/mixandmega-470432367
Sablenite Umbreon sweeps a team with a Mega Lucario.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/mixandmega-470478683
Stock megas and Sitrus Berry Flareon on left, and more standard megas on right. Someone cover this.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/mixandmega-470480287
The Floatzel sadly never gets to see action, but those are some questionable moves littered in there... (Foul Play Weavile? Really?)

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/mixandmega-470488215
More things that have Dazzling Gleam but shouldn't, and more standard megas.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/mixandmega-470490156
This match... is pretty darn great. Someone take this one, too.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/mixandmega-470249379
I have no idea what happened, but it falls under the lines of L not knowing what this meta is. Someone take this for me.
Since I was R in that replay, I guess I'll take this one.

(L) Gengar with Confuse Ray, Dark Pulse (#DarkIsNotGhost), and no Mega Stone
(R) Multiple stupid plays in an attempt to deal with said Gengar, resulting in losing Gliscor to confusion hax
(L) Tyranitar with no Mega Stone. It gets one-shotted before it can do anything stupid.
(L) Mixed Raikou with Double-Edge and Crunch. In this case, having
(L) Using Double-Edge on a Steel-type
(L) Fully-physical Mega Sceptile
(R) Attempting to set up with Scizor as it was about to faint from Zard-X's Outrage
(L) Articuno in general. To make matters worse, it also doesn't have a Mega Stone.

Have some absolute nonsense:

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-470712992
Carnivine vs the World. The World has two pokemon, which causes some controversy.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-470716097
Mud Slap Primal Groudon. Just horrible.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-470724255
Garbodor vs the World. The World has a Spinarak and a physical Gorebyss.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-470729019
Six Sheer Cold Articunos. Also, physical Lunatone.

Okay seriously, is Mix and Mega just that attractive to bad players, or is it just the perfect example of people not knowing anything about the meta they're playing?
Yes.

To avoid the shitpost, here's a nice one:

[R] Mono-Flying, including two NFEs (Togetic can work because Eviolite, but Noibat?).
[L] Yep, that team just loses to Moltres (as long as it can hit Hurricanes). Guess what right leads with?
[L] Dynamic Punch/Ominous Wind Zard-X.
[R] Double Hurricane miss, while taking a D-Punch. Sometimes this game is just unfair--a couple of turns later, Moltres whiffs again, this time against Flareon--the only thing standing in the way of a Fire Blast sweep.
[L] Flareon holding a Never-Melt-Ice. You're looking for Charcoal. (Also, this is why Plates exist. Much less confusing.)
[L] Torn tries to catch Skarmory coming in, but Flareon shows its Guts--or rather, its Flash Fire.
[R] Specs Zapdos tries to finish the job itself, never mind that it's facing a Chesnaught, making for a slow 1v1.
[L] Chesnaught with both Grass Knot and Giga Drain. Wonderful.
[R] Noibat, of all things, gets the final kill.
