I'd imagine Diancie does the job quite nicely, but I haven't really had the time to play much ORAS so I apologize if I turn out to be perpetuating false information. Are there any Fairy-types that counter Talonflame?

Unfortunately, no. All relevant fairy types are 2HKOed by brave bird and talonflame resists their stab moves. Are there any Fairy-types that counter Talonflame?
Tentacruel and Scolipede. Forretress may work too but it is not that effective in the meta at the moment. Never tried Toxic Spikes Greninja, only Spikes Greninja, but you may try that one out tooWhat are the best users of toxic spikes in OU? Piecing together a 'gravity stall' team, trying to whack these in there.
Nope. Latias is great as an offensive support pokemon, particularly for healing wish which is an incredible move to bring back weakened sweepers, as that can drastically change the outcome of a game. I dont really see another Pokemon doing the same things that Latias does.Would a set of Roost/Draco Meteor/Psyshock/Healing Wish on Latias be outclassed by another mon?
Jirachi could sort of replicate healing wish lati, but yeah, it doesn't do the job quite as well, and also lacks direct recovery.Would a set of Roost/Draco Meteor/Psyshock/Healing Wish on Latias be outclassed by another mon?
Aside from what's been said Dragalge could also work, but it'd rather drop dracos than set up Tspikes. What are the best users of toxic spikes in OU? Piecing together a 'gravity stall' team, trying to whack these in there.
Balance features a mix of attackers and walls, while Bulky Offense uses attacking mons with good bulk and synergy. It's the team equivalent of choosing between Gliscor and Landorus-T, if that makes sense.I'm pretty sure I have an idea already, but I want to make sure: What's the difference (and how much of a one) between Bulky Offense teams and Balance teams? A lot of the Pokemon I tend to think of as working best in one tend to do well in the other.
Actually what I'd really REALLY appreciate is something along the lines of two made-up-on-the-spot teams with close to similar Pokemon on them, and then show how they differ in function/set.
If you mean other than the general viability thread, someone tried to start one up pre-ORAS, but it died out pretty quickly. Is there a list somewhere on Smogon that ranks all of the Mega-Evo's?
Darn :[If you mean other than the general viability thread, someone tried to start one up pre-ORAS, but it died out pretty quickly.
I mean, all of its abilities pre-mega evolving are pretty pointless so idt it really matters. Why do the sets for Mega Pidgeot suggest it have Big Pecks as its non-Mega ability? I'm curious.
This is so it's defence can't be lowered. It will rarely happen be useful, but it's better safe then dead. Why do the sets for Mega Pidgeot suggest it have Big Pecks as its non-Mega ability? I'm curious.
But it's kind of a moot point if you're going to Mega Evolve it right away, since there are no abilities that could lower its Defense on the turn you send it out. This is so it's defence can't be lowered. It will rarely happen be useful, but it's better safe then dead.

I'm pretty sure it doesDoes Psych Up hit through Substitute?
Yes but it can't phaze if your opponent has the ability Soundproof or Suction Cups or if they have used IngrainDoes Roar count as a Sound move? Ergo, can it phaze through Sub?
Yes, it does count as a sound move, so abilities like Soundproof block it. It can also phaze through sub.Does Roar count as a Sound move? Ergo, can it phaze through Sub?
