Next slate is UTILITY 1. This means suicide leads, Pokemon that set up entry hazards, hazard control (Pokemon that run Defog/Spin), spinblockers, and lastly, ability shutdown, something that you don't see often in normal metagames but is very important in FE. Since we didn't get many Set-up Shutdown in the Defense slate (only one in that role is Quagsirom), you'll also be able to sub those in this Utility slate.
This Utility slate does not include Trappers, Taunt users, Weather, Terrain, Room or Tailwind setters. That will be part of the next slate.

Name of the Pokemon: Zeklade
Role(s): Ability Shutdown (Offensive/Defensive)
Type: Steel/Dragon
Ability and Description: Unstable Voltage - All attacks targeting or used by this Pokemon disregard the foe's ability in calculation and ignore accuracy checks to hit.
Stat Distribution: 100/130/135/82/95/62
Justification: An ability that allows it to laugh in the faces of Victant, Drewni, and Lemorus-I (Assuming the latter ain't running SD) and even be all like "Rhyperlax Ability what Rhyperlax Ability" as it Sacred Swords said mon. Unfortunately, its ability won't be able to help it against mons like Genin, Peli Koko, or Exelego-A, but at least it has 130Atk/SD with Bolt Strike as coverage that will land guaranteed hits, and Snorligatr's ability ain't stopping that move from ripping it a new one. However... Lol Mienzy (132Atk+SE STAB=GG) and Audala (Teravolt doesn't hit through Shadow Shield = GG)

TL;DR it's anti-meta

Name of the Pokemon: Maskle
Role(s): Set-up Shutdown
Type: Bug/Rock
Ability and Description: Bad Influence - Upon switch-in, inverts adjacent opponents' stat changes.
Stat Distribution: 55/45/156/65/166/52
Justification: Basically hits any set-up in its wake with an Uno card, allowing it to shrug off anything the attacker attempts.

Name of the Pokemon: Hoorbok
Role(s): Item Shutdown, Status Spreader
Type: Poison/Dark
Ability and Description: Prestidigitaiton - Upon switch-in, switches its held item with the Pokémon in front of it.
Stat Distribution: 90/130/65/120/105/90
Justification: Flame Orb sets spread burns. That and you take away held items. Toxic Orb sets work too, especially since it won't self-cripple.

Name of the Pokemon: Galvantulys
Role(s): Entry Hazards (Spikes, SR, Sticky Web), Fast Pivot, Ability Surpresser (Gastro Acid, Skill Swap), Revenge Killer
Types:

Ability and Description: Compound Pressure - Doubles accuracy, but moves with less than 100 accuracy will use up 2 PP rather than 1.
Stat Distribution: 60 / 86 / 85 / 110 / 85 / 150 | BST: 576
Justification: It is fast, has nearly every hazard and can surpress or swap abilities, as well as Volt Switching when necessary, even being capable of revenge killing. A look at this thing's movepool, when paired with its speed, should show you why I chose it. It does, however, have paper bulk, and 110 isn't particularly amazing.

158587

Name of the Pokemon: Mentor
Role(s): Spinblocker, Staus Spreader, Stealt Rock setter, Set-up removal (Note: Not it's best role by any means)
Types:

Ability and Description: Black Hole - Any moves used against this Pokemon that would affect its stats negatively will fail. Note that abilities like Intimidate can decrease its stats.
Stat Distribution: 82 / 117 / 132 / 80 / 132 / 57 | BST: 600
Justification: Defog will always fail and it is immune to Rapid Spin, making it a top tier spinblocker. Along with spinblock capabilities come fine 82 / 132 / 132 bulk and access to Will-o-Wisp to cripple switch-ins, as well as being able to set hazards itself with Stealth Rock, and can remove stats with Haze. Memento allows for some momentum as well. It also has immunity to Shadow Ball and Earth Power. Notable flaws are lack of reliable recovery (Pain Split / Drain Punch being your best bets) and lack of a truly good Ghost STAB (Not named Shadow Sneak).

158588

Name of the Pokemon: Mentor-Mega
Role(s): Bulky Physical attacker
Types:

Ability and Description: Tough Claws - This Pokemon's contact moves have their power multiplied by 1.3.
Stat Distribution: 82 / 127 / 152 / 90 / 152 / 97 | BST: 700
Justification: Only really here because it's obligatory, but it does have good bulk and fine physical attack, with Meteor Mash as its main STAB and STAB Priority options in Bullet Punch and Shadow Sneak. Although I highly doubt this is your best Mega option

158591

Name of the Pokemon: Aquapod
Role(s): Hazards Setter (Spikes, Sticky Web), Both a Fast and Slow Pivot at once
Types:

Ability and Description: Bubble Slip - This Pokemon's Water power is 2x; it can't be burned; Fire power against it is halved. Using a Water-type move will switch this Pokemon out for a chosen teammate.
Stat Distribution: 81 / 107 / 126 / 65 / 121 / 51 | BST: 551
Justification: I myself was surprised on Aquapod's utility as a Hazard setter. The mixed bulk along with access to Sticky Web and Spikes makes it actually a quite nice setter. What makes it a more interesting fusion is it's ability combined with Speed and acces to Aqua Jet, meaning you can easly carry both Liquidation and Aqua Jet to have either a fast or slow pivot depending on what the situation requires. Thanks to the boost to Water moves, 107 attack unboosted isn't as passive as you'd expect, and the immunity to burn is a nice effect. It can also carry Knock Off if needed. Wish support is recomended

158594

Name of the Pokemon: Gholemise-Alola
Role(s): Spinner
Types:

Ability and Description: Overloaded Helm - This Pokemon's Steel and Normal-type attacks have their power multiplied 1.5x and turns them into Electric moves.
Stat Distribution: 85 / 135 / 125 / 70 / 87 / 42 | BST: 544
Justification: Rapid Spin now deals damage to what usually would block it, at the cost of not hitting Ground-Types (Who don't like taking a Power Whip to the face). Other than removing hazards, it still has got nice physical bulk and good attack, along with a mildly diverse pool, incluiding Trapping options, Priority in Shadow Sneak, Knock Off, Swords Dance, Explosion and Volt Switch. The low speed tier allows it to safely use Gyro Ball for a STAB option with massive damage output

158614

Name of the Pokemon: Stundos
Role(s): Rocker, Defogger
Type:
/

Ability and Description: Power Drain:
Paralyzes any Pokemon that reduces its PP.
Stat Distribution: 110 / 88 / 115 / 123 / 115 / 76 (583)
Justification: A bulky, fairly strong mon with lots of utility. The defensive typing is eh, but that's really the only major flaw this guy has.

158620

Name of the Pokemon: Wiseau
Role(s): Set-up Shutdown, Rocker
Type:
/

Ability and Description: Tommy's Room: This Pokémon ignores other Pokémon's stat stages when attacking or being attacked. Takes half damage from Pokémon with stat changes.
Stat Distribution: 112 / 117 / 92 / 77 / 72 / 67 (537)
Justification: Eats hits for days thanks to its typing and ability. Can also set rocks if you want.

Cookie Butter

Name of the Pokemon: Claytar
Role(s): Hazard Setter (Spikes, Stealth Rock), Hazard Control (Rapid Spin), Suicide Lead, Role Compression
Role(s) (Mega): Weather Setter (Sand)
Types:

Ability and Description: Floating Grounds - This Pokemon is protected from Ground-type moves and Ground-based hazards. For the first three turns on the battlefield, it uses Spikes.
Stat Distribution: 100 / 102 / 127 / 82 / 110 / 68 | BST: 589
Ability and Description (Mega): Sand Stream - On switch-in, this Pokemon summons Sandstorm.
Stat Distribution (Mega): 100 / 132 / 167 / 82 / 130 / 78 | BST: 689
Justification: With an immunity to webs and both spikes, and resistance to Stealth Rocks, Claytar is useful as a rapid spinner that can switch into any hazard with no problems. But more importantly, it automatically sets Spikes with its Ability, and can also set Stealth Rocks, making it a very solid hazard setter. On top of that, it can punish Ghost-type spinblockers with its Dark-type STABs Foul Play or Pursuit. A Suicide Lead set is possible with Explosion. Other utility moves include Roar, Taunt, Light Screen, Reflect, Trick Room and Thunder Wave. As for its cons, Spikes are generally the least used hazards because they take 3 turns to start dealing good damage. With Claytar it's the same, you'll have to keep a mon with no reliable recovery on field for 3 full turns, so it makes the fusion balanced.

Name of the Pokemon: Tyranking
Role(s): Hazard Setter (Toxic Spikes, Stealth Rock), Set-up Sweeper
Role(s) (Mega): Weather Setter (Sand)
Types:

Ability and Description: Venom Stream - Uses Toxic Spikes on switch in
Stat Distribution: 100 / 128 / 103 / 100 / 97 / 83 | BST: 611
Ability and Description (Mega): Sand Stream - On switch-in, this Pokemon summons Sandstorm.
Stat Distribution (Mega): 100 / 158 / 143 / 100 / 117 / 93 | BST: 711
Justification: Automatically setting Toxic Spikes is a very powerful ability. It has also many utility moves, such as Stealth Rock, Toxic Spikes, Super Fang, Pursuit and Thunder Wave and Dragon Tail to help it take advantage of its ability. It can also take a more offensive role, using the chip damage from Toxic Spikes with Dragon Dance, STAB Head Smash+Poison Jab and Sucker Punch to rip through teams. However, it's a bit slow compared to other offensive threats and would struggle against HO. Tyranking is also 4x weak to Ground, has no reliable recovery and suffers from a severe case of 4MSS.

Reserving Padunk.

Name of the Pokemon: Dragon
Role(s): Hazard Setter (Toxic Spikes), Hazard Remover (Defog), Stallbreaker
Types:

Ability and Description: Levipoison - If the opponent targets this Pokemon a Ground-type move, it becomes Poisoned; Ground immunity.
Stat Distribution: 88 / 100 / 100 / 121 / 116 / 81 | BST: 606
Justification: Dragon is one of the best, if not the best of the OG batch of Fusions. It has very solid stats, and has access to recovery to outlast most walls. Its flaws include not being able to handle Toxic immune walls, not having great physical bulk and not having a good match up versus offense.

Name of the Pokemon: Crygotran
Role(s): Hazard Setter (Stealth Rock), Hazard Remover (Rapid Spin)
Types:

Ability and Description: Permafrost - Immune to Fire and Ground.
Stat Distribution: 80 / 70 / 88 / 120 / 130 / 93 | BST: 581
Justification: A great Stealth Rock setter, thanks its unique set of resistances and immunities. It can also spin away rocks, but its not as effective in this role. Its a great special attacker as well, thanks to Ice typing being an excellent offensive typing. Its held back by its crippling x4 weakness to Fighting, making it very easy to lure.

Name of the Pokemon: Hentai
Role(s): Hazard Remover (Rapid Spin), Hazard Setter (Stealth Rock, Toxic Spikes)
Types:

Ability and Description: Greek Fire - Immune to fire type moves. If hit by one, its own fire attacks are boosted by 1.5 and the opponent loses 1/8 max HP.
Stat Distribution: 90 / 80 / 88 / 120 / 120 / 98 | BST: 596
Justification: Cool defensive typing, and good special bulk

Next slate is UTILITY 2. This means Trappers, Taunt users, Weather, Terrain, Room or Tailwind setters. Also includes Weather and Terrain checks/counters.

After that will be Utility 2 voting slate, and after that we'll change some fusions that were too similar to one another, some fusions with balancing issues and fill in some roles that might have been mostly ignored.

Name of the Pokemon: Dugterra
Role(s): Trapper
Types:

Ability and Description: Prison Cell - Prevents adjacent Dark-type foes from choosing to switch.
Stat Distribution: 73 / 124 / 70 / 61 / 80 / 134 | BST: 542
Justification: Dark types are pretty potent Pokémon in the Metagame, so Dugterra carves out a niche as one of their best offensive checks. Its ability to outpace most viable Dark types and then trap and eliminate them proves very useful for teams that are heavily weak to Dark types. It does suffer from being frail, so strong priority or any decent scarfer can revenge kill it. It doesnt help that its weak to plenty of common priority as well in Water Shuriken, Aqua Jet, Fearless BB and Ice Shard.

Name of the Pokemon: Maladuck
Role(s): Anti Weather
Types:

Ability and Description: Atmospheric Perversion - When this Pokemon is active, all weather-based effects are reversed.
Stat Distribution: 93 / 97 / 93 / 91 / 87 / 89 | BST: 550
Justification: Maladuck's sole niche resides in being able to counter certain weather builds, such as Sun, very efficently. Thanks to Atmospheric Perversion, it can revenge kill practically every Chlorophyll user. It suffers from having a very lackluster stat spread, which hinders it against bulky and standard offensive teams alike.

Name of the Pokemon: Tornastar
Role(s): Tailwind Setter
Types:

Ability and Description: Tropical Storm - Tailwind on switch in
Stat Distribution: 80 / 90 / 100 / 131 / 90 / 85 | BST: 576
Justification: Its an auto Tailwind setter, so it as a pretty potent and great niche. Its pretty powerful, but Tailwind is a pretty brief field effect, which has a drawback of no way to extend it like Weather or Terrain has.

Name of the Pokemon: Chesdon
Role(s): Weather Setter (Sand)
Types:

Ability and Description: Cactus Power - Summons Sandstorm upon switching in. Grass-type moves have their power increased 20%.
Stat Distribution: 108 / 119 / 130 / 81 / 83 / 65 | BST: 586
Justification: With pretty high physical bulk and access to reliable recovery and great utility in rocks, Spikes and Super Fang, Chesdon is a great mon. Its ability to set sand is also very important, as it compresses roles on Sand teams that other members can fill. Its low special bulk and abundance of weaknesses can be easily taken advantage of however.

Name of the Pokemon: Castapus
Role(s): Terrain Counter
Type:

Ability and Description: Geologist - This Pokemon's Normal type changes to match the type of the current terrain (Includes new terrains created by fusions). If under a terrain, moves this pokémon uses that match the terrain's type or that are affected by the terrain do 1.5x more damage (Before the terrain boost is applied), and it will be immune to Priority and moves affected by the terrain, as well as the type the terrain is.

Stat Distribution: 70 / 77 / 72 / 120 / 92 / 102 | 533
Justification: Pretty much shuts down most terrain abusers. Anything the terrein affects, Castapus will be immune to, so there's no need to take one counter to a specific terrain when this one tiny ball thing counters all of them.

160511

Name of the Pokemon: Hippally
Role(s): Terrain Setter, Weather Setter, Room Setter
Type:

Ability and Description: Effect Setter - Changes type to match held plate and summons a different effect depending on its type
Fighting: Fairy Lock
Flying: Rainbow Sky
Poison: Radioctive Terrain
Ground: Mud Sport
Rock: Sandstorm
Bug: Wonder Room
Ghost: Spirit Storm
Steel: Magnetic Terrain
Fire: Sun
Water: Rain
Grass: Grassy Terrain
Electric: Electric Terrain
Psychic: Psychic Terrain
Ice: Hail
Dragon: Gravity
Dark: Dark Terrain
Fairy: Misty Terrain
Stat Distribution: 101 / 123 / 106 / 81 / 103 / 71 | 585
Justification: Hippally easly fits into any weather or terrain team by the fact it can summon any of them + unique FE terrains. Slack Off also allows it to keep itself healthy, Ground-type allows it to not be crippled by Rocks, making it capable of switching in and out consistently. Lastly, Parting Shot makes it a perfect pivot to the team.

Name of the Pokemon: Chandeform
Role(s):
Types:

Ability and Description: Flash Weather - In Sun, absorbs Fire moves, in Rain, Water, in Hail, Ice, in Sand, Rock and in Soul Storm, Ghost.
Stat Distribution: 75 / 72 / 90 / 117 / 90 / 85 | BST: 529
Justification: What I said for castapus but for Weather

160513

Name of the Pokemon: Magnelure
Role(s):
Types:

Ability and Description: Blacksmith - Traps in Fire and Steel types, and absorbs moves of these typed to get a boost on it's Fire-Type attacks.
Stat Distribution: 65 / 62 / 102 / 147 / 100 / 90 | BST: 566
Justification: It's a Fire-type with 147 Sp. Attack that traps Steel-Types. Need I say more?

Cookie Butter

formerly the someone

Name of the Pokemon: Tapu Loom
Role(s): Terrain Setter (Grassy)
Types:

Ability and Description: Grassy Heal - Activates Grassy Terrain for 5 turns when the Pokemon enters a battle. HP is restored by 1/8th of the maximum HP every turn while Grassy Terrain is active. Immune to Poison under Grassy Terrain.
Stat Distribution: 85 / 140 / 100 / 75 / 80 / 75 | BST: 555
Justification: Basically Breloom but buffed to FE OU tier. Spore is your biggest tool and STAB Mach Punch also helps. Tapu Loom offers high survivability due to healing 3/16 per turn and Poison immunity, plus access to Leech Seed, STAB Drain Punch or Synthesis. Still dies to Flying types easily though.

Name of the Pokemon: Giga Fini
Role(s): Terrain Setter (Misty), Weather Setter (Sand)
Types:

Ability and Description: Sandmist Surge - On switch-in, this Pokemon summons Sandstorm + Misty Terrain.
Stat Distribution: 97 / 105 / 142 / 77 / 105 / 55 | BST: 581
Justification: Provides great utility, also balk.

Name of the Pokemon: Combarde
Role(s): Trick Room Setter
Types:

Ability and Description: Sluggish Aura - As long as this Pokemon is active, slower Pokemon move first. At the end of each turn, its Speed is reduced by 1 stage. Trick Room cannot be used when this Pokemon is active.
Stat Distribution: 94 / 112 / 100 / 83 / 77 / 75 | BST: 541
Justification: Basically the Primal Reversion version of Trick Room. Great against teams that struggle against faster teams, but don't want to teambuild entirely around OTR like one would have to do if they used Heebleye or Sablegigas.

awesome gaming

Name of the Pokemon: Torko Bulu
Role(s): Sun, Grassy Terrain
Type:
/

Ability and Description: Photosynthesis Surge:
Summons both Sun and Grassy Terrain upon switch-in.
Stat Distribution: 70 / 107 / 127 / 105 / 102 / 47 (558)
Justification: SUN MACHINE BROKE

Ok but for real despite being great for sun and having good all-around stats and typing it's still hella slow

Name of the Pokemon: Arcalie
Role(s): Taunt User
Type:
/

Ability and Description: Creepy:
Status moves have +1 priority and lower the foe's Attack by one stage but do not affect Dark-types.
Stat Distribution: 87 / 109 / 75 / 104 / 75 / 110 (560)
Justification: While the stats aren't great, the ability can be annoying if used right. Don't forget, it gets Will-O-Wisp!

Name of the Pokemon: Dramasnow
Role(s): Hail Setter
Type:
/

Ability and Description: Ageless Blizzard:
On switchin, Hail begins and and cannot be removed (even by Primordial Sea/Desolate Land/Delta Stream/Cloud Nine/Air Lock and the like) unless this Ability is removed or this Pokémon switches out.
Stat Distribution: 94 / 86 / 90 / 123 / 98 / 58 (549)
Justification: Of course I'd sub a Drampa fusion, what am I, a filthy heretic? Also, hail needs something, darn it.

Name of the Pokemon: Vani Lele
Role(s): Psychic Terrain Setter, Hail Setter, Calm Mind sweeper
Type: Ice / Psychic
Ability and Description: Brainfreeze Surge - Basically just Snow Warning + Psychic Surge.
Stat Distribution: 70 / 90 / 80 / 140 / 105 / 107 [BST 592]
Justification: Good with Lele sets and has perfectly accurate blizzards bolstered by 140 SpA. With that typing, though, it's a biiit of a glass cannon... Still, it can also provide support for allies nicely and can still hit hard with Psychic moves, with BoltBeam and Moonblast on top of that (though why use the beam half of boltbeam when perfectly accurately blizzards)
