Xurkitree @ Shuca Berry
Ability: Electric Surge
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Thunderbolt
- Energy Ball
- Volt Switch
- Recover

Xurkitree is able to threaten Flying- and physically defensive Pokémon that would threaten Trevenant such as Swampert, Toucannon, Ninjask and Milotic. Also Xurkitree thanks to Volt-Switch and great offensive presence can give free switch-in on passive Pokémon such as Nihilego, Meganium and Forretress.
The core still struggles with Fairy-types such as Audino(-Mega), Flygon and Gardevoir which can force out both Pokémon.

I've built a successful Trevenant team and Lanturn is a great partner. It was already taken though so here's Ditto.

Ditto @ Quick Powder
Ability: Protean
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Shadow Ball
- Flash Cannon
- Toxic Spikes
- Dazzling Gleam

Ditto forces out stuff like Cofagrigus and Mega Audino with its coverage and can set up Toxic Spikes that help Trevenant with wearing down walls while it is behind a Substitute. It can also revenge kill faster Psychic types such as Unown or Poipole that won't let Trevenant switch in. The core still might have problems with Ninjask though.

Gravity Monkey

Que des barz comme si jtais au hebs

Raichu @ Life Orb
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Thunderbolt
- Ice Beam
- Volt Switch
- Focus Blast

Since we already had a stallbreaker, I figured that having a revenge killer/offensive pivot would be the best idea. This Raichu can pressure Milotic or Toucannon and revenge kill Ninjask. Raichu can also absorb burns, something that can shutdown Trevenant if not handled correctly. In counterpart, Trevenant can take care of walls like Nihilego and Celesteela and put pressure on bulky attackers like Metagross, all things that Raichu doesn't like.

Tapu Bulu @ Firium Z
Ability: Grassy Surge
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Flare Blitz
- Wood Hammer
- Horn Leech

An old friend and metagame mainstay SD Z Bulu exerts immediate pressure on many of Trevenant's checks and counters, most notably of which is Toucannon, whom is effortlessly OHKOed by a +2 Inferno Overdrive (or even 2HKOed by Wood Hammer!). These 2 stallbreakers combined should easily shred stall and balance to pieces and will allow the rest of the team to operate with the worry of fat stuff getting in the way. Trevenant also loves Grassy Terrain recovery. The core suffers heavily against offense staples such as Ninjask and Unown (or basically anything fast, tbh)

Nihilego @ Black Sludge
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 Spe
Impish Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Recover
- Knock Off
- Venom Slam

Everyone's favorite pillar of viability Nihilego is here to deal with those scary Tapu Bulus and Fairy-types, forming a potent defensive core with Lanturn and just in general softening up Trevenant's targets with Stealth Rock, Knock Off, and Venom Slam chip. Even with no investment it's still pretty fat specially in order to soft check stuff like Gardevoir and Porygon-Z.

Probably should have Rapid Spin but removal can come later/we can always edit the set later

Meganium @ Leftovers
Ability: Thick Fat
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Giga Drain
- Wish
- Flamethrower
- Parting Shot / Toxic (will decide soon tm)
Currently the team struggles against Swampert, Tapu Bulu, and Lycanroc-Midnight, so I think Meganium is a great add here. It resists Grass and Ground-type moves that Lanturn is weak to, while Lanturn covers the Flying and Ice-type attacks.

Toucannon @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Poison Heal
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def
Adamant Nature
- Beak Blast
- Swords Dance
- Roost
- Defog

Toucannon pairs very well with Lanturn because they cover each others weaknesses and lower defenses. Toucannon also works as a Bulky stallbreaker and Hazard remover.

Can we submit an already submitted Pokemon but with a different set? If no, just disregard this post.

Toucannon @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Poison Heal
EVs: 248 HP / 184 Def / 76 Spe
Impish Nature
- Seed Bomb
- Roost
- Swords Dance
- Beak Blast

I think physically defensive Toucannon is the better set to complement the core. The core is really weak to Tapu Bulu and Swampert, and physically defensive Toucannon hard checks/counters both of them. It lives +2 Flare Blitz from Tapu Bulu and strikes back with supereffective Beak Blast. With 76 Speed EVs it creeps uninvested Swampert and threatens it with Seed Bomb. It doesn't have Defog though, so one of the 3 remaining Pokemon should be a hazard remover.

Metagross @ Iron Plate
Ability: Iron Fist
EVs: 80 HP / 252 Atk / 176 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Iron Head
- Bullet Punch
- Hammer Arm

Metagross is an offensive Stealth Rock setter that provides the team with a solid Nihilego counter and Mega Audino check. As we already have two stallbreakers, Metagross' priority will be nice against more offensive teams. It also lures out Forretress, which the rest of our team matches up pretty well against.

Whole Hog (Rhydon) @ Eviolite
Ability: Mold Breaker
EVs: 252 HP / 32 Atk / 84 SpD / 140 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- Swords Dance

Rhydon switches into Nihilego for days and sets rocks on it easily, making it a very consistent Rocks setter. Outside of that, it still poses quite an offensive threat even with low investment due to high base attack and 100 BP STABs alongside Swords Dance. EV spread outspeeds base 70s (Lanturn in particular) while the defensive investment allows it to survive an Energy Ball from no boosting item Xurkitree and an Ice Beam from LO Raichu.

For this team, it should help cover Nihilego (Venom Slam variants give Trevenant a headache and Toucannon fears rock STAB) and alleviate some of the pressure on Lanturn as a primary electric check. However, this team would still need an offensive Xurkitree check in order to not get murked by its Electric+Grass coverage.

Nihilego @ Black Sludge
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 184 SpD / 72 Spe
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Sludge Bomb
- Grass Knot
- Recover
- Rapid Spin

Nihilego provides a great spinner and secondary special tank to the team. Sludge Wave hits Grass types such as Tapu Bulu and Meganium and also has a nice chance to poison; Grass Knot lures and OHKOs Rhydon and 2HKOs Swampert and Lycanroc-Midnight; and Rapid Spin clears hazards on the team's side. 72 Speed investment lets it outspeed positive-natured base 80s.

Just gonna say here that the team so far looks a li’l weak to Celesteela, even with Lanturn.
I believe you think that Celesteela is still part flying, which it isn’t. Typically Trevenant can set up on Cele quite easily in this meta, but thanks for the comment. Also feel free to sub, even if you aren’t familiar with the meta!
