With the thieves dispatched, you continue unobstructed towards the village. With multiple trials throughout the day, you've lost sunlight, and are relying on a dim flashlight to give you direction. Determined to reach the village and learn :haxplane: for yourself, you don't pause your trek. "It's only a little further!" you think to yourself.
Unfortunately, your flashlight fails you, and you trip and fall down a large cliff. It appears that the path took a turn to the right which you couldn't see. Now, there is only a short window of time to be saved before you fall to your demise before ever learning :haxplane:.

Gunhilde's Rock Climb, we can slide our party to the bottom with ease.
Quickly springing into action, Ira produces a set of vines that latch around the trees at the top of the cliff for support. With Gunhilde's guidance, the pair clambers down the side of the cliff with haste to try and rescue you. They succeed, and are able to save your body from hitting the ground below.

After fixing you into their makeshift rock climbing gear, your teammates escort you to the bottom of the cliff, where you regroup. You are surprised to be greeted by some dim lanterns lining the edge of a stone path. Following the trail, you are led into what appears to be a small hamlet. Verifying with your map and compass, you realize that this is the location of the :haxplane:-teaching village. A specter meets you on the path and offers its guidance.
"Visitors? At this hour? The queen is sound alseep! We best not disturb her slumber! Allow me to escort you to our humble inn for the remainder of the night."
The ghost gives you a look that tells you that you have no other choice but to follow it. Indeed, you find yourself at a small inn, with only a few beds. Other than Gengar keeping watch, you have the inn to yourselves. Tired from the day's excursion, you and your Pokémon quickly fall asleep. Some time later, you all wake up to the phantom's gaze.
"Rise and shine! The queen is ready to see you now."
You attempt to contest, seeking at least some breakfast first, but Gengar isn't listening to your pleas. It leads you to a clearing in the center area in the village, where you finally meet the hax queen herself.
"Greetings, travelers! I trust you made it here safely?"
You and your Pokémon exchange knowing glances.
"Well, it matters not. There is only one reason why we get visitors. Gengar, my retainer, let's get ready to teach this trainer a thing or two about :haxplane:!"

A historical bolt-throwing weapon, named the Domina Gunilda, mounted to Windsor Castle in the 1300s to repel intruders. The name spread to other large projectile emplacements, becoming synonymous with heavy artillery and the usage thereof.

Confident and conceited. Gunhilde is happiest when she's able to throw her weight around and hold dominance over her surroundings.
History:
Gunhilde's previous trainer was interested only in her utility, putting her to work in heavy labor. Following his arrest, Gunhilde languished in storage before making her escape the first time she was released from her ball. She lived within city limits for months as a feral Pokemon, wracking up quite the hefty bounty in property damage taking what she needed. Rather than hand Gunhilde over and claim the reward for her capture, Lou offered her a place in his team.
