That was part of what I referred with "no way to know", because the game doesn't have a way to check a player vs player interaction of stuff like styles and weather, so you'd have to work on hypoteticals.

Which I mean... you can do... but is it even worth it? Probably not.
While limited in capacity, trainer battles do still exist in this game. I imagine you could go off those for most questions about pvp interactions

Fix Glaceon, and Lucario already has BP.

Also, Play Rough is compatible with the Pikachu line in SS. Funnily enough, Calm Mind was also previously available to Pikachu and Kantonian Raichu exclusively in LGPE of all things (likely to make up for Nasty Plot’s absence). They even left Pichu out of learning Calm Mind since it wasn’t in LGPE. I forget, is Nasty Plot absent in this game as well? If so, that could explain the return of Calm Mind compatibility for Pikachu and Kantonian Raichu.

Nope, Nasty Plot still exists but for some reason the Raichu family can't learn it anymore in this game specifically

So, if I understand correctly, the only scenarios I think it might pick Ghost instead of Dark would be against Fighting/Psychic, Bug/Psychic, and Poison/Psychic. The latter 2 might be tied with Fire and Ground?
Ice might only ever be chosen for 4x weak Pokemon?
I would expect Poison/Psychic to choose Dark because of the immunity to Psychic, but you're right, Bug/Psychic would work as a test case because Bug is super effective against Dark. It's a bit different to Fighting/Psychic because Ghost is outright immune to fighting.

It would make sense to prioritise "no weaknesses" over one type being immune though.

I feel like a list of what type Legend Plate Arceus will become against every existing Pokemon would be a useful resource. I might write one up once we're 100% sure of the logic. (EDIT: Actually just a type chart like table would probably work better.)

Wondering how it would work od abilities would be in the game,e.g. would Fighting against Heat Rotom it would become Ground.

In the distortions? Wdym?
Basically in the game there are these "distortions" that pop up randomly around the world. They're these big purple bubbles that contain stronger than normal mons including the stragglers that wouldn't make sense to be roaming Hisui normally including the starters as mentioned, the sinnoh fossils, porygon and og sneasel. Rotom can actually be encountered normally surprisingly enough although it's apparently quite rare

At least at the moment, it most likely can't parse abilities/Air Balloon/Magnet Rise because none of them are in Legends. If we're basing it on what the enemy AI can handle, it might be capable of recognizing guaranteed immiunities like items/used moves, maybe even mons with Levitate in all ability slots, but probably nothing more complex.

I don't know if this has been mentioned earlier in the thread, but apparently Sunshine Cherrim has a higher BST than Overcast Form in PLA.

Basically, emulating the boost from Flower Gift but without the ability.
Any other Pokemon stat buffs of note? (rip kricketune, lumineon and carnivine)

edit: ok yeah i dont think there's anything. I've looked through Phione, Dustox/Beautifly, Wormadam/Mothim, Unown and the aforementioned and none of em got shit. Looks like no notable stat buffs unfortunately cri

Interesting mechanics information if true. ELs seem pretty simple and transparent (apparently you can get it for mass releasing, also like candy), we see the Home(?) ball, and size is a thing too though I wonder if 0 is smaller than normal or just the base.

Cherrim - 70/60/70/87/78/85
Cherrim-1 - 70/90/70/87/117/85

I like it. An exact 1.5x boost to base stats might not exactly align with a 1.5x stat boost in the games, but in this game where bases seem more important and stat stages might be less impactful, it might work out better for Cherrim.

I guess it is just for Sunshine Cherrim due to the removal of abilities. Maybe if any of the Pure/Huge Power mons were in the game, then they would have gotten similar boosts as well?
