Offensive isn't the only way to play Venusaur. This team utilizes Venusaur's typing more for its defensive qualities rather than its offensive ones. With Diancie and Alomomola as the defensive backbone of this team, it needs Venusaur to be able to handle Grass-types more securely than offensive sets do. With the given spread, Venusaur still outspeeds Exploud and anything slower while making sure that the only Grass-type that can easily break down Venusaur is Zen Headbutt Virizion (which is dumped by Fletchinder) Otherwise, the team is pretty simple. It uses Diancie + Alomomola to provide crucial support and defensive stability and Venusaur to cover the Grass-types they don't like. Scrafty and Fletchinder is the offensive core for this team to break down opposing defensive cores. Flygon provides hazard control and a more offensive way to check Houndoom if it decides to try and pack Iron Tail. Like any team that lacks Bronzong, Hariyama, or fat Emboar, this team can struggle with Mega Abomasnow and it can also struggle with Durant (like virtually any team out there) if you're not too careful around it.

NICHIJOU

I immediately thought of sun and added the necessary components after adding venu + duggy: Fletch check / Speed out of Sun (Trum), EQ Check / Fighting Check / Sun Setter 1 / Momentum (Uxie), Sun Setter 2 / Psychic Check / Momentum (Liepard), Sun Sweeper 2 / Priority / Psychic Check 2 (Shiftry). CBA to get into too much detail because the team is fairly self-explanatory. Enjoy.

Now for this week I'll be taking a page from Kableye thread Team Style Analysis:

Volt Turn!!! Volt Turn is basically a Offesinsive playstyle gaining momentum by making the oppent switch. Usually it's only 2 Volt Turners on a team. Some good Volt Switch mons can be font in Kableye's Team style analysis thread and also a guide to further explain it.

get off my MAL slurmz ;_;

Started with standard choice band sawk + colbur hw mesprit core, paired both with kabutops as i didn't really want to run defog when my two initial mons are so weak to fletchinder/delphox and tops is able to check those. Later added mawile as my rocker as it helps against dark types/tyrantrum and it further provides sawk with momentum. Added virizion as my sharpedo/bulky water check since i couldnt go with av tangrowth or something like as to not make team too slow. Now, i had accelgor on the last slot, providing us with a revenge killer as well as spikes but having tops as my only fire resist was really bothering me so i decided i would not only make mesprit scarf, but make it physical as it better handles psychic types that would be troublesome, i then added qwilfish over accelgor since it would give me another fire resist as well as being able to setup spikes.

Something I threw together because I like this thread :)

I based this team off of the idea of Voltturn supporting Hoopa-U up in OU. I figured that something similar could be run to decent effect in RU using Hoopa, so I decided to give it a shot. Hoopa, of course, is an extremely powerful wallbreaker capable of breaking many Pokemon to open up lanes for Fletchinder or Virizion to sweep. I opted for an AoA set, but NP+3 attacks or NP+Sub or Sub+3 attacks could all be run. Virizion was added as a sweeper to compliment Hoopa by destroying the dark types it Hoopa despises. Manectric was added as the first part of my Voltturn core as well as another solid balance breaker in case things went south for Virizion. Steelix acts as a decent switchin to Tyrantrum as well as just generally blanketing physical attackers as well as providing entry hazard support, which Hoopa greatly appreciates. Fletchinder was added as my main weapon to decimate offensive teams. It also can spread burns around quiet well, which softens blows that my last team member, Flygon, has to take. Flygon is an all-around solid gluemon and hazards remover that can keep the momentum in my favor my completing a Voltturn core. That's about it!

This is a pretty fun volt-turn team that's based around Braviary and Meloetta as an offensive core. I decided to use mega steelix as my rocker and also because it checks threats like ttrum which threaten my team. Next I added eel which acts as a pivot and also has very good coverage, I decided to use u-turn over volt-switch to keep momentum on ground types, and also keeping the electric coverage with tbolt. Next, I added flygon to the team for hazard control and another pivot, it also functions as an emboar and delphox check. Finally i added another offensive pokemon in, durant, because it helped with revenge killing threats such as scarf ttrum and other scarfers while pressuring psychic types. + I added baton pass to keep momentum.
