The reason Blace always seemed so unbearable was it was really hard to chip and had
knock. Knock off as a move does so much for a special attacker, suddenly turning 3hkoes into 2hkoes on regen walls. This is the gap this thundy set aims to fill. Mixed thundy has been one of my favorite sets for some time, it does so much work every game and is just fast enough. It knocks stuff, 2hkoes prime sea zap (living a thunder), messes up zarude, lures shadow ball blissey, and you can literally alter its coverage to suit whatever your team needs. Weak to AV pert? No worries knock + knot will do it for you, chomper is annoying? chip from knock + u-turn + toxic + potential hazards means it cant switch into shadow ball that easily. And counters to this set like VA corvi are just set up bait to chandy. All in all these two do quite well together as an offensive core, the trick is you finish the entire team, and whatever you are weak to you just alter the thundy coverage accordingly. Also the mon is helmet and hazards proof, which means it can actually u-turn multiple times in a game without worrying about the chip
