with idef, skarm effortlessly walls both sciz and glisc while threatening to boost and deal serious damage with body press and punishing scizor's uturns with rhelm chip. As it forces both out, it can use those turns to setup spikes, which scizor hates switching into.

Too many mons to choose from but I’ll settle with np rotom wash. +2 t-bolt two-hit ko’s scizor guaranteed so you don’t have to worry about missing hydro or wisp 1000 times and losing. The speed reaches 255 which outspeeds the two pokes while bold makes Gliscor’s facade not a three hit ko and helps with eating Scizor’s u-turn/bp.

ProtGren fries both of these mons with EBelt boosted HP Fire for the MZor, and EBelt boosted Hydro Pump for the Glisc, cant get better than this tbh.

252 SpA Expert Belt Protean Greninja Hidden Power Fire vs. 248 HP / 244 SpD Scizor-Mega: 322-379 (93.8 - 110.4%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock

Z-Tini is extremely underrated and is a fantastic answer to this core. I added Stored Power / Thunderbolt for additional coverage, and Stored Power has a 120BP boost with the omniboost.

Glaciate 2HKOs Gliscor without the boost, after it's a OHKO.

Switch in to sciz (3hko with rocks, 4hko without) as they switch into glisc. If they're good they'll realise their Sciz is going to be cooked and switch. Do whatever on said switch with ur third coverage move or just NP. Deal 70% to Glisc and/or hurt whatever else. Pretty striaghtforward.

Zapdos for Week 2!
:ss/zapdos:
Red Bull (Zapdos) @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Static
EVs: 188 HP / 56 Def / 168 SpA / 96 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Discharge
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Heat Wave
- Roost
Scizor:
Switch in Zap on Sciz, it literally can't do anything and it won't prolly U-Turn either cuz of static and if it does attack it's likely to get para'ed too, so you click Heat Wave, it's dead.

[168+ SpA Zapdos Heat Wave vs. 252 HP / 240 SpD Scizor-Mega: 336-396 (97.6 - 115.1%) -- 87.5% chance to OHKO]
[+6 0 Atk Technician Scizor-Mega Bullet Punch vs. 188 HP / 56 Def Zapdos: 196-231 (53.2 - 62.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO]

Gliscor:
If opp switched in Glis(/U-Turn) and/or brings it out after Sciz, you click HP Ice, 188-56 allows it to tank 140 BP Facades and 96 Spe allows it to outspeed Glis.
Turn 1, you HP Ice, it most likely SD's and waits for Toxic Orb to activate
Next turn, you still outspeed, and it's ded. (Even if it manages to get a +2 140 BP Facade off, you still live)

[168+ SpA Zapdos Hidden Power Ice vs. 244 HP / 192 SpD Gliscor: 268-316 (76.1 - 89.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Poison Heal]
[+2 0 Atk Gliscor Facade (140 BP) vs. 188 HP / 56 Def Zapdos: 206-243 (55.9 - 66%) -- guaranteed 2HKO]

All of the above ranges become OHKO's if Rocks are active, so unless you have a luck like mine, you won't have a risk.
Also don't forget that Zap is also able to heal the damage it takes due to outspeeding and likely paralysing with static and/or discharge, that combined with it threatening to kill both Sciz and Glis makes it a good counter to this core.

PS: Oh yeah btw it's named Red Bull cuz Gapdos can't fly but Kapdos can cuz, Red Bull gives you weeengs

I want to point out that the scizor set this is is not the set given, and as such sciz actually does sub 50 to zap.

Hm? I copied the set to ps calc, it's 252 hp 16 def 240 spdef rite?, that's what's in the calc, and the sub 50% to zap from sciz bp is at +6 atk, idk wdym, if it was a misread it's fine, if not, please tell me where I went wrong

im so sorry i read the +6 as adamant

A bit late, but it's time to vote! We have a ton of submissions but only one can take 1st.

A mon I've learned to love during the past few weeks is this:

Heatran @ Steelium Z/Firium Z
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Magma Storm
- Earth Power
- Steel Beam/Flash Cannon/Stealth Rock
- Toxic/Taunt/Stealth Rock

With a timid nature, heatran is now able to outspeed 20+ Spe Gliscor and 2hko it with Magma Storm

252 SpA Heatran Magma Storm vs. 244 HP / 192 SpD Gliscor: 165-195 (46.8 - 55.3%) -- 71.1% chance to 2HKO after Poison Heal and trapping damage (This of course becomes a guaranteed 2hko after rocks or if poison heal wasnt active yet)

Or even just delete it with a raw Z since we now outspeed it anyway

252 SpA Heatran Corkscrew Crash (200 BP) vs. 244 HP / 192 SpD Gliscor: 330-388 (93.7 - 110.2%) -- 62.5% chance to OHKO (Again, OHKO if rocks are up)

While of course Heatran is known as a very good sciz answer thanks to typing alone.

The set also has some nice upsides if running steelium, such as eliminating fini after magma chip with z without getting chipped since it now outspeeds 192 Spe fini too

the mon im bringing is heavy duty boots Volcanion
Volcanion @ Heavy-Duty Boots

This set ohko's gliscor and scizor with its two stab. It has enough speed to outrun scizor and enough bulk to not even die to a crit glis earthquake
