Overview: These two have great coverage and synergy already. Now it'll be hell to take them out. Fire Trap makes burning very easy. Power Drain gives Ferrothorn some much needed recovery. Aqua Drain offers insane regen.
Team: Gliscor & Tyranitar
Strategy: Sand Guard - In a sandstorm, Gliscor and Tyranitar have their Defense and Special Defense multiplied by 1.5.
Gliscor's Technique Synergy: Roost + Assurance = Landing Spot

- Flavor: Gliscor makes a sharp slab of rock, which Tyranitar rams through the opponent's neck.
Overview: Nigh Invincible in Sand, pretty tough anywhere else. Sand Guard makes it so. Landing Spot discourages people from attacking, while Throat Impaler gives Tyranitar decent Dark STAB.
Team: Excadrill & Dragonite
Strategy: Iris - Excadrill obtains all the resistances of a Dragon, and Dragonite's Dragon type move's BP get's a 1.2x multiplier, before STAB.
Excadrill's Technique Synergy: Iron Head + Fly = Air Strike

- Flavor: Dragonite picks Excadrill up and flies up with him, then drops him on the opponent as Excadrill uses Iron Head.
Dragonite's Technique Synergy: Dragon Rush + Drill Rush = Dragon Drill

- Effect: High Crit rate. Has a 20% chance to flinch the target, 40% on a crit.
- Flavor : Dragonite uses Dragon Rush with Excadrill on top. Excadrill uses Drill Punch while on the dragon, spinning him as well.
Overview: The two pokemon that Iris could not command are now fighting side-by-side! Iris takes out some of Excadrill's weaknesses, and buffs Dragonite's attacks. Air Strike gives Excadrill a somewhat stronger Iron Head. Dragon Drill, along with Iris, gives Dragonite a huge upgrade to Outrage.
Team: Medicham & Tapu Koko
Strategy: Plasma Aura - Any non-Mega pokemon that makes direct contact has a 30% of being paralyzed. Paralyzed pokemon take 50% more damage from physical and Electric attacks.
Medicham's Technique Synergy: Bulk Up + Charge = Lightning Armor

- Flavor: Medicham throws Tapu Koko a Focus Blast, who imbues it with it's mythical power.
Overview: Paralysis spreading galore along with huge damage via Plasma Aura. Even without paralysis, the boost from Lightning Armor makes Medicham an utter terror, especially factoring its mega form in. Also Tapu Koko gets Fairy STAB, a piece it was desperately lacking.
Team: Lopunny & Buzzwole
Strategy: Siblings in Swole - If one partner is KO'ed, the other has their attacked doubled for 3 turns.
Lopunny's Technique Synergy: High Jump Kick + Vital Throw = Full Nelson

- Flavor: Buzzwole grabs the opponent and puts them in a full nelson. Lopunny then delivers a devastating kick on the trapped opponent's stomach.

- Flavor: Buzzwole grabs Lopunny, preps his aim, and hurls her at the opponent as hard as he can. He'll might her on her head if his aim is thrown off.
Overview: This pair is mainly for doing as much damage as possible in a short time. Siblings in Swole ensures they can't take one out without retribution. Full Nelson and Supreme Smash are also for insane damage.
