:sm/pinsir-mega:
Name: Pinsir-Mega
Type:

Ability: Contrary
Stats: 65 / 155 (+30) / 140 (+40) / 75 (+20) / 80 (+10) / 85 [600 BST]
New Moves: Hammer Arm, Drill Peck
Description: Unga Bunga Superpower strong. With this very feast or famine design, I tried to mirror Pinsir's original gameplay, with a different twist this time where instead of trying to quickly reach a high celling of power, you moreso continuously snowball thanks to Contrary Hammer Arms and Superpowers. Its checked pretty well by Clefable, Blastoise-Mega and Torn-T or Zapdos if it doesn't run rock coverage, and of course it stays ever weak to SR. It's also one point slower than Rotom-Wash. Still, if you give it too much room, it can end up running through pretty much anything.

:sm/gengar-mega:
Name: Gengar-Mega
Type:

Ability: Weird Surge (On Switch-in, user summons Magic Room for 5 turns.)
Stats: 60 / 65 / 90 (+30) / 155 (+25) / 108 (+33) / 122 (+12) [600 BST]
New Moves: -
Description: Just sort of a beatstick mega. Strong stats and a straightforward ability that gives it an edge against scarfers and walls reliant on Leftovers like Heatran and Ferrothron. It's still revenge killed by Weavile while still outpacing Torn-T. Ill try to write a more in-depth explanation later.

Name: Mega Gengar
Type:

Ability: Unaware
Stats: 60 / 65 / 75 (+10) / 150 (+20) / 120 (+45) / 130 (+20) [600 BST]
New Moves: N/A
Description: This didn't start as a targeted attack on Calm Mind Clefable but we take those. Jokes aside, Unaware on an offensive mon hasn't been done successfully in Pokemon before (aside from Dondozo in Gen 9 VGC, kinda?) but being able to ignore Defense/Special Defense boosts is a great trait for an offensive mon, being able to break through bulky wincons. In Gengar's case, it does all the normal Gengar things you'd want plus being able to brute force its way through Calm Mind sweepers like Clefable, Suicune, Keldeo, Latias, Reuniclus, and Mega Venusaur (just be careful about switching in to those last 3). Also, Unaware is one of Clefable's abilities and people say that Genger is its doppelganger, so that's neat isn't it.

:sm/pinsir:
Name: Mega Pinsir
Type:

Ability: Impressionist - If this Pokemon uses a Bug-type move during its first turn on the field, that move has +2 priority.
Stats: 65 / 160 (+35) / 100 / 55 / 110 (+40) / 110 (+25) [600 BST]
New Moves: Fell Stinger, Roost, Taunt, Wild Charge, Sticky Web, Spikes
Description: I was initially just gonna make a very slightly better version of base Pinsir because I love base Mega Pinsir and figured I couldn't improve on it, but then I realized something. Every Mega we have so far is dual-typed, meaning that every single-typed mon slated so far has had a type added to them. This is fine, but upon seeing this I made it my mission to get a singled-typed Mega in this slate. Yeah, Alakazam is very likely gonna do that anyway, but screw it, pure Bug Pinsir. Pure Bug is one of the worst type combinations in the game, so even for a Mega you need a lot to make it work. I was originally gonna do Tinted Lens, but Geko already did that better so here's this funny thing. Impressionist makes Mega Pinsir a scary revenge killer, always threatening the foe's Bug-weak mons with a +2 priority X-Scissor when it comes in. However, since your opponent knows that a Bug move is coming every time it comes in, I had to give it a few more tricks to help it compete. Wild Charge, along with Earthquake and Close Combat, can chip Bug switches like Blastoise, Roost and Taunt enable Bulk Up sets while Roost also helps with inevitable Stealth Rock and Rocky Helmet/Iron Barbs chip, and Sticky Web is the most interesting Bug-type move I could possibly give it (Megahorn is too easy and priority U-Turn sounds dumb) that's a fun buff for base Pinsir. Spikes is also fun for base Pinsir, but it also works well with the switches you'll force with Impressionist. Fell Stinger is for crackheads, especially since it's only 30 BP in Gen 6. Still hard countered by Mega Zard Y and X-Scissor goes back to being an awful move after turn 1, making Mega Pinsir a lot weaker than its 160 Attack says. Also, it's a pure Bug-type, lol.
Revenge Killer (Pinsir) @ Pinsirite

Suicide Lead (Pinsir) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Mold Breaker
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Spe

- Stealth Rock / Spikes
- Taunt
- Knock Off

honestly didn't have any zam ideas lol oops
EDIT: nvm i had one
:sm/alakazam-mega:
Name: Mega Alakazam
Type:

Ability: Magic Guard
Stats: 55 / 50 / 75 (+30) / 155 (+20) / 125 (+30) / 140 (+20) [600 BST]
New Moves: Ice Beam, Blizzard, Hail, Flash Cannon
Description: ice cream scooping. This is basically just MegaZam but Ice, which isn't the craziest thing in the world, but Psychic/Ice is an unseen type combination in OU since Jynx obviously sucks and actually none of the OU Ice-types are special attackers weirdly enough (with just Kyurem-B ever using Special Ice moves), so this gives Mega Zam a bit more spice to it. Wish I could give this literally any other ability instead of Magic Guard, but gaining a Rocks weakness would suck and I feel less bad about generically giving a Rocks-weak mon Magic Guard since the base form already has it. Also, being a Toxic/Will-O-Wisp/Scald switch-in is always great. Ice moves let Zam threaten Gliscor, which annoys it normally, and Serperior while dealing decent neutral damage to Ferrothorn and TTar to get them into Focus Blast range. Psychic/Ice Beam/Focus Blast coverage in general goes hard, so its Special Attack is on the lower side compared to most subs, especially since it'll be the fastest thing in the meta. Flash Cannon is there for flavor (spoons) but you can run it if you really really hate Clefable as it still hits TTar. Still checked by Heatran (better hit 2 Focus Blasts) and adding Psychic/Ice is one of the worst defensive typings in the game, so the already frail Zam gets KO'd by even more things.
4 Attacks (Alakazam) @ Alakazite
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Psychic
- Ice Beam
- Focus Blast
- Shadow Ball

24 Hours until submissions close, so it's time for another sub review!

Just like last time, these are all just my personal feedback on every submission, suggesting changes, and warnings of vetoes. These are all just my opinion, so unless I specifically warn of a veto (indicated by me putting the word vetoed in bold), feel free to our take my advice as you wish.

Council member Gekokeso's comments are also included in Blue text

:alakazam-mega: based
:pinsir-mega: Already said on Discord, but I like this a lot as a fan of Lokix and my original plan for Pinsir also being Tinted Lens
Hehe

:alakazam-mega:Magic Bounce is a pretty big upgrade over Trace on the already good Mega Alakazam, so you could probably drop SpA a little more, but generally I like the concept. You could drop SpA a bit to add Aura Sphere back as well like Geko said on Discord
Gave my feedback already about how I was willing to let ana keep aura sphere on this in exchange for a spa debuff, but I think regardless of it it should have like 20-25 spa less for reasons Yoshi might elaborate on.

:gengar-mega: NGas is funny and I like the slower bulkier approach with this.
No further comments, discussed this one in discord and it has been balanced pretty well, albeit calm mind possibly making regular Gengar a bit more dangerous.

:pinsir-mega: Gen 6 Mega Speed mechanics still screw you over initially I think (though if Gen 6 had dynamic Speed changes like Gen 8+ than it wouldn't matter), but this sounds like a very fun mon to use. Not much else to say, just looks fun
Fun, but Gen 6 speed mechanics prevent it from taking advantage of the speed drop on the turn it megas, think I might eventually post a guide to Gen 6 speed mechanics at the start of next slate.

:pinsir-mega: Bug Urshifu is neat but seems like a nightmare to deal with defensively (especially since you can afford to run both Sacred and Cross Poison cuz U-Turn as STAB is just fine). I'd feel more comfortable if you slightly nerfed Attack or Speed but its own defensive pitfalls are probably enough to keep it balanced as is.
Fun mega that fits Pinsir as it has hyper cutter as a mega, has fun coverage and hits hard but is limited by it's loss of priority.

:alakazam-mega: Base MegaZam with a boosting ability, even one as bad as Neuroforce, is probably too much, I'd lower it a bit
This looks ridiculous, neuroforce into that spa with a gen 1's movepool hits ridiculously hard, as well as being too fast. I would vetoe unless a drop in spa or speed.

:gengar-mega: Pretty decent, Merciless does seem like a natural fit with Gengar but with Houndoom already pulling off Merciless shenanigans well I'm not super interested in this
Want to say this is tentatively fine, houndoom outdamages it with Overheat but this is way more consistent and has more immediate speed. Fine, but might outclass houndoom.

:pinsir-mega: Bug/Normal is such an awful typing that you could probably get away with buffing Attack and/or Speed a bit, even with Scrappy, especially since it doesn't have a strong Bug move. Either way it does feel like it competes with Lopunny a lot as Lopunny's Speed and better typing likely overshadow this thing's higher Attack and Swords Dance
My big question is, what does this do better than Lopunny to justify its use? Sure this normal attacks hit harder, but Lopunny is way faster, has fake out to stall turns and STAB on its normal fighting coverage. Fine, but looks very weak in this meta.

:alakazam-mega: Weird but neat, Alakazam does already enjoy being paired with TTar and this directly furthers that connection. Seems kinda weak outside of Sand but maybe I'm just underestimating the power of a Zam that can actually consistently 2HKO TTar
Would usually be iffy on this but between some added weaknesses thanks to steel, 4mss and lower speed this looks perfectly inoffensive.

:gengar-mega: Also weird but also neat. Geko gave a better review of this on Discord than I could've, but I think this is well balanced.
I like this a lot! I gave feedback for this already on the discord but I like how it turn the tables on faster teams while still being prey to common Mons in the meta.

:pinsir-mega: Cool pivot. Not much else to say but if this doesn't win, you could totally resub this for Heracross later cuz this feels a lot like Heracross lol
Looks like a generally good mega, nothing too outstanding but still good enough.

:alakazam-mega: Odd and much too weak but I like the concept
Balanced, but significantly underpowered. Physical Zam has a interesting amount of coverage, so if a zam if going the physical route for some reason it should focus on that more than solely spamming it's stabs.

:gengar-mega: See my thoughts about MegaFlareon's Gengar. Also not too sure why you added Flatter but TSpikes is cool ig
Oof, I'm afraid this would get vetoed over the fact that megaflareon submitted merciless Gengar first, you can ask for a Collab with mega Flareon over pms if you want tho. (Yoshi Edit: Unlike in M4A, vetoing subs that are too similar to other subs isn't listed as a vetoable offense, but I do agree that it this sub is too similar to MegaFlareon's and would hurt your chances (and MegaFlareon's) in voting if both were options, so I do highly recommend changing it up or working with MegaFlareon on it)

:pinsir-mega: A little but cool, reminds me a lot of both Slither Wing and Quaquaval in Gen 9. You are missing 4 BST points though, which you could drop into Attack to make it a little stronger when unboosted
Flame charge is a really bizarre addition of a move, otherwise the sub is fine, but is significantly weak, even more so than base heracross.

:alakazam-mega: Seems like just a nerfed version of base MegaZam, which is fine cuz MegaZam is super good anyway
A bulkier, slower take on Zam. Looks good enough without being too hard to deal with.

:gengar-mega: Opportunist + Flatter is a fine gimmick, albeit annoying to play against, gimmick, but I like Opportunist here for its matchup against stuff like Calm Mind Clefable or Mega Venusaur. Kinda like my Unaware Gengar but it takes them on in a different way, cool interaction. Would like it more without Flatter because of Gen 6 confusion mechanics but I know not having Flatter would kinda ruin the point so it's fine.
Oh ho ho, I like this one a lot. With the amount of special sweepers in the tier I can see this Mon flourish in this meta by virtue of making the use of Serp, Cm clef, thundy and volcarona way risket.

:pinsir-mega: Technician Bugs are fun and Tech Storm Throw is very funny coverage, I like. Also one of the faster Pinsir subs, which I think is an interesting route since most just stayed around base Mega Pinsir's range
Definitely Scizor at home. I do like it's technician movepool, but I think it would appreciate a better stab to compensate for it's risky playstyle. I appreciate the restrain to not give it pin missile with those stats, but I think it might want to have some more technician moves to deal more damage and justify its use over other sweepers.

:alakazam-mega: Very iffy on this one but I think it'd get vetoed, 55/135/155 just too bulky for a Magic Bounce mon, even with Psychic being a bad typing. Especially since this still has 140 SpA and Calm Mind. I recommend nerfing both Defense and Special Defense by a decent margin
I honestly like this take on mbounce Zam better, but Ana's version is stronger, and came first so this would get vetoed over being too similar to it. (Yoshi Edit: See what I said about Turtlek's Gengar for advice on this. What I say later about your Pinsir also applies here, but with my review saying that it'd get vetoed because of that bulk it might become too similar to ana's after a nerf) Maybe add a secondary typing to it?

:gengar-mega: Gengar doesn't get Nasty Plot this gen, but this is still alright. Not super into Special Intimidate but I like the stat spread
If this was m4a, you would get put on a hit list. This isn't m4a, so this is acceptable for the meta, albeit that ghost dark typing could make it a bit annoying to take down but otherwise should be fine.

:pinsir-mega: Pretty similar to Tanny89k's but more defensive, so I have the same thoughts on it more or less. I do like adding another Defog option.
Once again, Sniped by Megaflareon so this is vetoed, but I'm sure you can still contact him to try and do a Collab sub. (Yoshi Edit: I believe he meant Tanny89k's Bug/Fighting Intimidate Pivoting Pinsir, but yeah either way the same thing that applies to Zam applies here. This is less likely to get vetoed based on similarities since I do think the stat spread and added moves make it different enough, but you could still consider changing the typing to make it stand out)

:gengar-mega: Ghost Zygarde. Seems a little scary, as Ghost/Ground is a stellar offensive typing and Ground switchins get checkmated by Shadow Ball. Not quite vetoable since 145 SpA is high but not super high and it sucks defensively, but still very spooky (pun intended)
The direction in this sub just feels flawed. Earth Power is a nutty addition to Gar's kit, and it's ghost / ground coverage is really strong in this meta. I guess losing on clef as a target is huge enough to justify it, but it just feels a bit weird.

:gengar-mega: People have already talked about this on Discord enough but yeah it seems really weak, especially since the only terrain setters are other Megas. You could probably get away it having 120 SpA. Nature Power is cool on this though
A rather weird direction. I can get nerfing this thing with the ability since Normal Ghost with those stats is crazy, but is just an awkward mega. Balanced however, so it gets a pass.

:pinsir-mega: I initially wasn't so sure about this one because that's one crazy stat spread, but since this lacks recovery and its typing is pretty abuseable, this seems a like a fine and very unique physical wall. Reminds me a little of Ting-Lu in in Gen 9, but more offensive, neat
This one is admittedly way more interesting. A grass immunity is very, very nice in this meta which makes this thing an easy switch to stuff like Amoonguss and Tang without the fear of sleep, as well as denying leaf storm boost from Serp and just being good against Ferro. Looks nice.

:gengar-mega: Magic Room is super interesting, especially on a Mega that won't care about it anyway. Makes teambuilding with it very awkward, but this seems just about strong enough to justify that downside.
Write the description bozo. Otherwise this is very fun to shut down scarfers and other choiced Mons while also making surpassing walls way more easily without the leftovers or sludge healing.

:pinsir-mega: gonna run close combat, superpower, and hammer arm all on the same set. Jokes aside, seems pretty interesting, a lot of downsides and having to run two non-STAB Fighting moves is awkward, but great snowball potential. Might be the closest thing we'd have to an HO Mega
Strong, but needs a while to get going while still performing well enough. Well balanced sub.

:gengar-mega: Poison Unaware Mon at a cheap price? Satisfactory.
:pinsir-mega: Me when council member forgets how speed works in gen 6. Fun sub with great name tho

That's all for now! See you tomorrow for voting!

Ugh. It would be nice to get back to posting more than once a month, but at least Ghost/Steel Banette-Mega won. Congrats to all the previous winners (though gods you guys voted in borderline busted Gen I Megas). Also R.I.P. Refrigerate (and soon to be Aerilate) I guess. I'll keep this actually "short" for once (and try not to miss voting this time):

:sm/alakazam-mega:
Name: Alakazam-Mega
Type:
/

New Ability: Lightning Rod
Stats: 055 HP / 065 Atk (+15) / 065 Def (+20) / 165 SpA (+30) / 115 SpD (+20) / 135 (+15)
New Moves: Flash Cannon, Thunderbolt
Description: I had actually wanted to go with Levitate, but that was already taken, and with Steel typing Levitate might be a bit obnoxious even with Alakazam's continued physical frailty and Steel no longer shoring up any of Psychic's weaknesses due to Aegislash's sins on top of adding two weaknesses and an unfortunate neutrality to Fighting. Still, Steel makes this a lot more difficult to revenge kill with anything not named Sucker Punch or Mach Punch even with its Speed (and SpA) dropped to make it easier to revenge kill otherwise with Scarf mons (and leave room for at least Aerodactyl-Mega to potentially outspeed it); the same goes for now speed-tying with the obnoxiousness that is vanilla Lopunny-Mega, who at least no longer 3HKOs it with Fake Out. Being immune to all the Thunder Wave flying around and getting powered up by it on top of being immune to Toxic still upon transforming and losing Magic Guard is nice though, and someone needs to be capable of telling Clefable to go to hell (with STAB) without also being Thunder Wave bait--those spoons might as well make themselves useful for once. (Not like Metagross-Mega is going to use its SpA still anyway...probably.)

:sm/gengar-mega:
Name: Gengar-Mega
Type:
/

New Ability: Earth Eater
Stats: 060 HP / 065 Atk (+00) / 080 Def (+20) / 170 SpA (+40) / 095 SpD (+20) / 130 Spe (+20)
New Moves: Toxic Spikes
Description: Its stats are literally the same as vanilla's since those stats are probably fine without the broken ability that is Shadow Tag, especially in a Gen where it lacks Nasty Plot. I was originally to give it (and then Alakazam-Mega) Refrigerate partly as a joke but also to have something that destroys Serperior (since I was going to give it Hyper Voice too), but then I realized that Refrigerate Explosion on something that has a pretty free moveslot would probably be bad, especially since even 065 Atk still basically destroys Blissey; ditto for not going with Infiltrator and a Corrosion-esque abomination due to lack of screens in the meta and stepping on Unaware respectively. I similarly couldn't go with Prankster due to it already having Hypnosis. So Earth Eater it is since someone needs to rein this version of Venusaur-Mega the hell in on top of just being a nice Toxic Spikes absorber (and user) for that nonexistent move. At least this time Gengar gets to keep its Ground type immunity that it lost in the Gen just after this one. (It still hilariously explodes to Excadrill if that's using Mold Breaker though.)

:sm/pinsir-mega:
Name: Pinsir-Mega
Type:

New Ability: Guts
Stats 065 HP / 150 Atk (+25) / 135 Def (+35) / 055 SpA (+00) / 090 SpD (+20) / 105 Spe (+20)
New Moves: Extreme Speed, Horn Leech, Megahorn (how does it not already have this?), U-Turn
Description: Not much to say about this one except that since it was never a broken mon like the other two, I didn't need to saddle it with a defensive ability not named Magic [something]--no shade, Yoshiblaze; I'm glad someone went with the ice cream joke--or Regenerator to weaken it. Guts seemed the "obvious" choice if we're actually changing the ability due to all the status flying around this meta, especially on something that comes in half dead if Stealth Rocks are on its side of the field after its transformed and with Burn and Paralysis being so strong before they were nerfed in then Gen just after; I also found it a bit weird how a bunch of Megas got weirdly specific abilities, but none of them ever got Guts (unless you count that pseudo-Mega, Ursaluna). Otherwise the added moves are all pretty self-explanatory, I figured I would dump the changed stats from vanilla all into Def for the sake of its typing and Bulk Up, and Extreme Speed should be fine between lack of Aerilate, lack of STAB, slightly lower Atk, its 4MSS, and the simultaneous introduction of two more Megas that are going to be faster alongside it that also prey on its lowish SpD, with at least one guaranteed to be outright immune to Extreme Speed on top of that.

Just a tangent, but Guts isn't on a Mega most likely because it's not an ability a Mega can reliably trigger; any abilities that rely on your opponent to trigger are usually unimpactful in the grand scheme of things, and more often than not you will not get the status you need. (Paralysis and Toxic are not worth Guts proc).

Not to waste time here I'll do my own submission(s).

:ss/Pinsir-Mega:
Name: Mega Pinsir
Type:

Ability: Mountaineer
Stats: 65 / 160 (+35) / 110 (+10) / 55 / 90 (+15) / 125 (+40) [600 BST]
New Moves: Megahorn, U-turn, Icicle Crash, Ice Shard, Ice Beam, Blizzard, Icicle Spear, Hail, Roost
Description: Syclant at home. If anyone has ever played with Syclant you know how tricky this Pokémon can be to switch into once it's coverage isn't known, while also making note of how it can pair with Electric types to form potent Volt Turn cores. 125 Speed is blazing fast, giving it the jump on various threats in the metagame like Thundurus, Tornadus-Therian and Gengar. Megahorn gives it a STAB move over 100 BP, while U-turn gives it a momentum grabbing option. Icicle Crash is the main Ice STAB and Ice Shard grants it a niche priority move to hit faster threats if necessary. Mountaineer is the most important part of the sub, giving it the power to swap into Stealth Rock (and a random Rock type move) with impunity, making it a much more powerful and long lasting offensive pivot.

It's now time to vote!

Voting Rules can be found below and in the OP:
After the submission phase is over, voting will begin. This mod will be using the same voting system as Book of Enigmas, where you can vote for as many submissions as you want, with each submission getting a certain number of points based on how you ranked it. An example can be seen below.
For a slate with Mega Beedrill, Mega Lopunny, and Mega Pidgeot, for example, a ballot would look like this:
Beedrill: User 1, User 2, User 3
Lopunny: User 4, User 5, User 6
Pidgeot: User 7, User 8, User 9

With this ballot, Submission 1 for Mega Beedrill would get 3 points, Submission 2 would get 2, and Submission 3 would get 1. The same goes for Submissions 4, 5, and 6 in the Lopunny category and Submissions 7, 8, and 9 in the Pidgeot category, with them getting 3, 2, and 1 point respectively.

You can add as many submissions are you'd like after your third vote, with each one getting 1 point.
Beedrill: User 1, User 2, User 3
Lopunny: User 4, User 5, User 6
Pidgeot: User 7, User 8, User 9, User 10, User 11
So, in this ballot, Submissions 10 and 11 would also get 1 point in the Pidgeot category.

You can vote for your own submission, but it can't be in first place or your only vote in that category. Be sure to mark your self-vote by putting (SV) after it.
Beedrill: User 12 (SV), User 2, User 3
Lopunny: User 4, User 5, User 6
Pidgeot: User 7, User 8, User 9, User 10, User 11
This wouldn't be a legal ballot as the self-vote is in first place in the Beedrill category

Beedrill: User 12 (SV)
Lopunny: User 4, User 5, User 6
Pidgeot: User 7, User 8, User 9, User 10, User 11
This also wouldn't be a legal ballot as the self-vote is the only vote in the Beedrill category

Beedrill: User 2, User 12 (SV)
Lopunny: User 4, User 12 (SV), User 6
Pidgeot: User 7, User 8, User 12 (SV), User 10, User 11
This is a legal ballot because none of the self-votes are in first place or the only vote in a category.

If you vote for only 2 submissions in a category, the first place submission gets 2 points and the second place submission gets 1 point. If you vote for just one, then that submission gets 1 point.
Beedrill: User 1 (1 point)
Lopunny: User 4 (2 points), User 5 (1 point)
Pidgeot: User 7 (3 points), User 8 (2 points), User 9 (1 point), User 10 (1 point), User 11 (1 point)
The submission with the most points in a category will be added to the mod. For every Mega, you will also have the option to vote for the original Mega Evolution if you aren't a fan of any of the submissions. However, this can't be done for Pokemon whose original Megas were banned to Ubers.
For most slates, the next submission phase will start immediately after voting ends for the previous slate. The long submission phase will still give ample time for discussion and playtesting during the week so you can adjust your submissions. However, every 3 slates or so, one or more roomtours will be held so we can see what state the metagame is in. This may result in winning submissions being nerfed or buffed, depending on what we learn. Buffs and nerfs (mostly nerfs) can also happen at any other time as we learn stuff between roomtours.
All submissions are eligible for voting except for the vetoed submissions below:
The Damned's MEga Gengar (stats are a bit too much)
Original Mega Gengar (take a guess why)

Voting will end in 24 hours. Good luck!
If your submission isn't here and wasn't vetoed then please let me know!

Description: Neuroforce is an ability that makes a lot of sense for Mega Alakazam since its flavor is how smart it is and Neuro = brain. Neuroforce allows Mega Alakazam to hit much harder when doing damage super-effectively, which can frequently thanks to its wide coverage. I wouldn't say Neuroforce is too powerful on Mega Alakazam since Psychic STAB is far from the best offensive typing while its coverage moves are either just 80 BP or very innacurate.

Description: Mega Alakazam doesn’t really have the look of a sweeper so much as it looks like a bulky boy (he meditates, so maybe slow paced playstle?), so I altered its stats as such. High defenses make up for 55 HP by allowing Megazam to tank any kind of attack it likes, physical or special, and heal off with recover to survive longer battles. It still has incredible offensive presence with 140 spattack, Calm Mind, and all of its coverage, but is more slow-paced with its 85 speed, putting it below Excadrill and base-form Lucario. Teleport and Knock Off also allow him to perform utility roles, and Magic Bounce let’s him act as a counter to prominent hazard setters and Mega Banette. Balanced by a Knock Off weakness. Also Fighting-type to help with Knock Off and Stealth Rock.

Type: Ghost / Normal
Ability: Mimicry
Stats: 60 / 90 (+25) / 75 (+15) / 110 (-20) / 115 (+40) / 150 (+40)
New Moves: Nature Power (also notably gains STAB Explosion)
Description: This form of Gengar aims to do a few things. The first is give it a ludicrous speed tier that lets it get the jump on many things that Gengar is normally just outsped by (or faces nasty ties with), such as Torn-T, Serperior, Mega Lopunny, Lati@s, and slower scarfers. This allows it to invest flexibly into it's higher bulk and use Sub-Split, Taunt, Wisp, and Disable. Yes, it does have a lower SpAtk than regular Gengar, which it does genuinely need; having such a high speed tier removes most of the ways to out-offense Gengar outside of Birdspam, so there needs to be more ways of defending against its attacks. It's easy to forget that how good an attacking type Ghost is in Gen 6, and considering Gengar can remain out of Mega to take advantage of the higher damage, or even not run Mega at all, the lower SpAtk stat is not to steep a price to pay for the other benefits. This mon's bag of tricks is very deep, and I wouldn't underestimate the sheer fear factor Gengar has just potentially being able to Mega. Also, it's new Attack stat allows it to tap into some of it's Physical movepool, utilizing long unseen moves like Sucker Punch, Knock Off, Focus Punch, and of course a STAB Explosion with power which goes toe-to-toe with that of Lando-T.

And that's all I think it needs to be both interesting and impactful on this meta! It could realistically have no ability; Mimicry is mostly just cute, mainly my first thought for an ability was one that has an interesting relationship with Levitate. It coincides with the two new Terrain setters the tier just saw added, and combines with Nature Power to potentially both a general STAB option and a powered up coverage move in one slot. It doesn't appreciate losing Ghost STAB when facing off against either terrain setter, but it can appreciate suddenly resisting Pursuit, or becoming a Knock-Off switch, so I think it evens out.

(ty to G-Luke for pointing out Nature Power)

Description: A more balanced take on a Mega, with high defense + Intimidate and Roost to keep it in battle for longer periods of time. Bug/Fighting sometimes gets overlooked as a defensive typing, but in some ways is incredible, given resistances to Ground, Dark, Grass, and Fighting. It also learns Defog for team support, and U-turn to let it act as a pivot. However, with 100 speed, it is difficult to slow pivot, but can double as an offensive pivot. A Fighting STAB also creates an advantage over some of the new Megas like Houndoom, Lucario, and Audino. Besides the new defensive-utility qualities, Pinsir still has 135 attack and Swords Dance to retain its offensive presence.

Stats: 65 / 170 (+45) / 190 (+90) / 40 (-15) / 80 (+10) / 55 (-30)
New Moves: Circle Throw, Taunt
Description: The direction I always wished they took Pinsir in. Here, Pinsir is a tank with a notably strong matchup 1v1 against many of the best Steels in the tier. It gains very free entry into Ferrothorn in particular; Sap Sipper allows it to take advantage of Leech Seed and Power Whip, it's massive defense means it doesn't mind Knock Off, it's Ground typing combined with Earthquake means it hits it for solid neutral damage without proccing Barbs or Helmet, and it being a Ground type makes it immune to Thunder Wave. It similarly stuffs Excadrill's unboosted neutral hits and resisted Earthquake, Bisharp's boosted STABs, and utility Jirachi's standard attacks while threatening to KO all of them with a minimally invested Earthquake. Mega Pinsir's low speed means Steels like Magnezone and Heatran will be able to outspeed and hit its weaker special side, but notably regular Pinsir can still outspeed and threaten a KO on both of them. Skarmory is the biggest exception, but Pinsir can still potentially play into it with Smack Down. Outside of Steels, it's ability and typing give it entry points into Serperior, Amoonguss, Breloom, new!Mega Venusaur, and Tangrowth, and it's massive defense can let it check big physical attackers like Terrakion, Garchomp, Conk, Scizor, and Mega Lop. It's biggest flaws are twofold; The first is that it's low Special Defense can be readily exploited by many faster offensive threats, as even weaker, neutral special attack can scare it out. The second is that offensive Flying types and Rotom-Wash can give it a lot of trouble without even hitting the field with their Ground immunity. It can play around these threats with good prediction, using Stealth Rock, Knock Off, Toxic, or Rock coverage.

Just know that if you vote original Mega Zam with the +90 bst the council will hunt you down.

Congratulations to Yoshiblaze for winning Alakazam, anaconja for winning Gengar, and G-Luke for winning Pinsir!

:sm/gengar-mega:
Name: Mega Gengar
Type: Ghost / Poison
Ability: Neutralizing Gas (While this Pokemon is active, opposing Pokemon's moves and their effects ignore its own Ability.)
Stats: 60 / 65 / 105 (+45) / 155 (+25) / 105 (+30) / 110 | 600
New Moves: Reflect Type, Calm Mind
Description: taking a page from mbh for this, ggarm has the interesting ability to defensively ignore abilities, meaning azumarill/lopunny/future -ate megas do 0 damage to you. increased bulk so you dont die to tech mons even without tech

The next slate will be posted shortly!

- Slate 5: make mega steelix ground/flying i dare you -
:sm/steelix-mega::sm/aerodactyl-mega::sm/altaria-mega:
Steelix, Aerodactyl, Altaria

For the next slate, we have Pokemon of the 3 typings that none of the Mega Evolutions we have so far have: Ground, Rock, and Dragon!
Steelix is a quintessential Steel-type, with low Speed and Special Defense, but sky high Defense. It has a quite minmaxed stat spread, but between its deep offensive movepool, great typing, and its already high Defense leaving room to put points in other places, you should have a lot of freedom with it. Aerodactyl is the exact opposite of Steelix, being a fast and kinda frail attacker. In vanilla ORAS, Aerodactyl tied with Mega Alakazam for the title of fastest Mega Evolution while using its unique offensive typing to dominate UU. Here, it'll try to shoot a little higher. Lastly, Mega Altaria in vanilla ORAS had the never before seen Dragon/Fairy-typing and an amazing ability, but with a deep movepool and a pretty balanced stat spread, Altaria is probably the blankest slate for this slate.

Refer to the rules located on the OP for how you should sub:
Submission Phase (7 Days)
For every slate, I will introduce 3-4 Mega Evolutions, with your job being to redesign them for our new metagame. You can change their non-HP stats, ability, and secondary typing, just be sure to follow the rules of Mega Evolutions, which are in the spoiler tag below.
A longer more detailed list of rules and guidelines can be found in the OP of the Megas For All here, but this mod won't share every rule they have (and some of their rules are specific to Gens 7-9). In general, the rules for submissions are as follows:

- You can only submit 1 Mega Evolution per Mega Pokémon slated. For example, if the slate includes Mega Beedrill, Lopunny, and Pidgeot, you can make 1 submission for each of them, but you can't make 2 Mega Beedrill submissions.
- Megas always share at least 1 typing with their base form. This type is always its primary typing, though you will be allowed to just retain its secondary typing if you have a good reason.
- You can only give Mega Evolutions 1 Ability. This can be a completely new ability or an ability from a later generation if you want, just don't do anything too crazy (as I'm going to be coding it) and don't add anything that sets or interacts with things not in Gen 6 (like Psychic Surge, for example). You are also allowed to edit the effects of Parental Bond, as it's the only ability exclusive to 1 Mega.
- Mega Evolutions have exactly 100 more BST than their base forms and their HP stats never change. Some trends exist with how Megas boost or lower stats, but the best advice I can give is to simply be reasonable and make sure you have a good reason to do anything crazy.
- You may add moves to the Pokémon you're submitting for. This allows you to give the Pokémon a movepool that allows it to fully use the stats, typing, and/or ability you design it around, like Lopunny getting High Jump Kick or Heracross gaining Bullet Seed and Rock Blast. To start I will allow you to add as many moves as you want, but you must add moves with reason. Don't add a bunch of flavor moves that the Pokemon will never realistically use, especially since flavor is less of a focus here as Megas will use the same designs as their original Mega forms. Also remember that the base form of the Pokémon can use the moves you give it. Moves can't be removed from the Pokemon with the exception of Seismic Toss on Kangaskhan, which can be removed if you want to keep Parental Bond on it.
- Submissions that are too powerful or don't follow the rules may be vetoed and disqualified from voting. I will give a warning 24 hours before the end of submissions to point out any submissions that are likely to get vetoed.

New Moves: N/A
Description: Mega Charizard X can act as a dangerous Dragon Dance sweeper with strong Tough Claws-boosted moves in Flare Blitz, Outrage, Dragon Claw, and Thunder Punch. A unique defensive typing and decent bulk makes setting up much easier, made even easier with Roost. Walled by very bulky Water-types, Heatran (if you don't run EQ), and checked by Landorus-T.

Name: Mega Steelix
Type: Steel/Fairy
Ability: Stall
Stats: 75 HP / 115 Atk / 220 Def / 75 SpA / 95 SpD / 30 Spe [610 BST] (+30 Atk, +20 Def, +20 SpA, +30 SpD)
New Moves: Avalanche, Revenge, Payback
Description: I wanted to see what happens if you give the coveted Steel/Fairy typing on a bulky defensive Pokémon. In return, I gave it a useless ability and a wasteful 20 base SpA increase. Its additional moves benefit from Steelix always moving last (and getting hit for Avalanche and Revenge), so Steelix may want to use some powerful coverage.

:sm/Aerodactyl-Mega:
Name: Mega Aerodactyl
Type: Rock/Flying
Ability: Gale Wings
Stats: 80 HP / 135 Atk / 95 Def / 70 SpA / 95 SpD / 140 Spe [615 BST] (+30 Atk, +30 Def, + 10 SpA, +20 SpD, + 10 Spe)
New Moves: None
Description: Mega Aerodactyl is already fast, but it now gets priority on healing and utility moves such as Roost and Defog. It also gets priority on its Flying STAB, but its strongest Flying move is Wing Attack (60 BP), so it shouldn't be overbearing. Better bulk compared to Talonflame and only single weakness to Stealth Rock makes it more consistent as a Defogger and can also pull off defensive sets should it wish.

:sm/Altaria-Mega:
Name: Mega Altaria
Type: Dragon/Fairy
Ability: Wonder Skin
Stats: 75 HP / 80 Atk / 120 Def / 110 SpA / 125 SpD / 80 Spe [590 BST] (+10 Atk, +30 Def, +40 SpA, +20 SpD)
New Moves: None
Description: Defensive Mega. Wonder Skin helps it defensively, giving it somewhat of a shield against status moves such as Toxic, Taunt, and Thunder Wave, while also having great synergy with Heal Bell on its movepool.
