Frantic Fusions is a metagame where a Pokemon gains two traits of a Pokemon in its Nickname: It gets access to the any of the fused Pokemon's abilities on top of its own abilities, and gets the donor's base stats quartered (rounded down) and added on top of its base stats, except HP.

For example, here is a Great Tusk fused with a Tornadus-Therian:
:sv/great-tusk:
Abilities: Protosynthesis / Regenerator
Base Stats
: 115 / 156 / 151 / 80 / 75 / 117 (BST 694)
Rules

Clauses: Standard OMs, Sleep Moves Clause, Min Source Gen = 9, Terastal Clause, Fusion Clause*

Watchlist
A lot of stuff...

This allows for Pokemon to obtain a variable set of new tools, rather it be from a mediocre stat one Pokemon has being improved, or access to a new ability.

Sample Sets
:great-tusk:
Tornadus-Therian (Great Tusk) @ Assault Vest
Ability: Regenerator
Tera Type: Water / Steel
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpD / 4 Spe
Careful Nature
- Earthquake
- Close Combat
- Rapid Spin
- Knock Off
Abilities: Protosynthesis / Regenerator
Base Stats
: 115 / 156 / 151 / 80 / 75 / 117 (BST 694)

Great Tusk turns into an excellent Regenerator pivot with stupendous bulk and a variable amount of utility; whether this is broken or not is yet to be determined, but I have no doubt this'll be a metagame staple.

:iron-moth:
(Basculegion-F) Iron Moth @ Choice Specs
Ability: Mold Breaker / Adaptability
Tera Type: Fire / Grass / Psychic
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Fire Blast / Overheat
- Sludge Wave
- Psychic / U-turn
- Energy Ball
Abilities: Quark Drive / Swift Swim / Adaptability / Mold Breaker
Base Stats: 80 / 93 / 76 / 165 / 128 / 129 (BST 671)

Iron Moth can finally break through Heatran now! Also can just click buttons with Adaptability Overheat and Sludge Wave, so it's quite the special clicker to use here!

Questions and Answers
Q
: If I use a Baxcalibur fused with a Pikachu, can it obtain Light Ball boosts?
A: No. However, if you fuse Pikachu with a Baxcalibur, it still can have the boosts from Light Ball since Pikachu is the base Pokemon.

Q: Can I fuse my base Pokemon with itself?
A: No.

Frantic Fusions Resources
(Last updated Feburary 11th, 2024)
Welcome to Frantic Fusion Resources! The below resources are meant to help out new and experienced players with what to use and what to do in the metagame. Hopefully this helps out all that view it!

Viability Rankings
Welcome to the first edition of the Generation 9 Frantic Fusions Viability Rankings! In this thread, we as a community, overlooked by a unique council, will attempt to rank every viable Pokemon in various ranks. Please be encouraged to post your thoughts on the viability of Pokemon in this thread!

Ranks
Pokemon will be ranked in descending order; there is no divide in viability inbetween ranks. There is no differentiation in offensive and defensive Pokemon. Corviknight may be A+ for its defensive utility, while Gouging Fire may be A+ for its capabilities as a wallbreaker.

VR Council
The VR Council is made up of respected and active users in Frantic Fusions. They will have the final say on where Pokemon get ranked. Here is the current VR Council:

S Rank
Top of the top. Rulers of the metagame. These Pokemon fit on most playstyles and need minimal support to function, if any at all.

S
:latios: Latios (Greninja, Porygon-Z, Tauros, Yanmega)

S-
:corviknight: Corviknight (Deoxys-Defense, Houndstone, Scrafty)

Set Compendium
Here you will find viable sets of all Pokemon that are on the viability rankings; this will be updated as new Pokemon rise and drop on them as such. Feel free to comment or suggest a set to be added!

Here is the set compendium!
Role Compendium

The purpose of this section is to provide a visual list organized by roles to see what Pokémon do what. This will help new and experienced players alike in finding Pokémon that fit their teams when looking for specific roles. Each Pokemon that is here is viable in the Frantic Fusions metagame, and as such, it will change as the viability rankings get updated. If you feel there is a Pokemon viable for the roles mentioned below and it hasn't been added to the group, then recommend it in your post with solid explanations. The order of roles will be organized in the following way:

  1. Utility (hazard setters and removers, screen setters, offensive utility)
  2. Offensive roles (wallbreakers, choice item users, and setup sweepers)
  3. Defensive roles (walls)
  4. Weather (snow and sand), Electric Terrain, Grassy Terrain, Psychic Terrain, and Trick Room
Note - Pokemon listed to the right of a | are considered niche options in that given role, or niche options in general.

Coverage is a myth, Flying-type is the only type you need. Zapdos also has Agility and Heat Wave for a 3A sweeper with Sheer Force. Braviary-H really is the gift that keeps on giving this gen for OMs.

EDIT: Don't feel like building the full set now but you've got 155 Special Attack on a Draco Meteor that doesn't drop in damage. That's worth exploring.

New Stats (hope I calced right): 104/103/86/85/93/130

With the attack boost and a tidy up or two Population Bomb should annihilate just about any neutral target and even give resists a hard time. Low Kick is for steels, crunch for fightings, and tidy up to boost damage and take advantage of its new speed stat. Tera Normal is just bc I didn't know what else to put, you could play around with it to hit whatever threats become relevant once the meta develops.

Edit: The whole point of using basc was for adapt but since technician is better anyway you're better off using something stronger and faster like bax.

Obligatory Tinkaton post. Big Attack + SD for Gigaton Hammer, Intimidate to take advantage of the great steel/fairy typing, and Rocks/Thunder Wave for great utility. Gigaton Hammer, even unboosted, is a hard smack on almost anything, and Knock Off is great disruption.

Your typical Specs Dragapult, but beefier, stronger, slightly faster and with Magic Bounce to boot! Frankly, this seems like another OM where Dragapult is going to be very, very broken in. It's too versatile, too strong, too fast-- as a base, in particular, but it's also a fantastic donor thanks to it's high attack and blistering speed.

Some cool fusions that may end being good:
:ss/dragapult: + :scyther:
88/147/95/113/95/168
Pult synergize quite well with Scyther, not only gaining good stats overall but also Technician to increase the power of Dragon Darts.

:ss/cresselia: + :hatterene:
120/92/133/109/145/92
Demon Cress becomes much harder to take down with Magic Bounce, but it also gets extra bulk and respectable SpA.

:ss/zapdos-galar: + :lycanroc-dusk:
90/154/106/98/106/127
Tough Claws Zapdos-Galar is an OM classic, with all the crazy walls a strong wall breaker is welcome.

:ss/zapdos: + :lycanroc-midnight:
90/118/103/138/108/120
The other Zapdos goes well with the other Lycanroc, No Guard Zap Cannon and Hurricane are quite decent, the stats are average but still good enough. Pelipper is also an option for Zapdos trading Speed for some SpA and setting weather, you won't be paralyzing stuff as often tho.

:ss/pikachu: + :arcanine-hisui:
35/83/60/73/70/112
This is mostly a meme, but 530 Atk Volt Tackle without recoil sounds funny, is frail and slow for the format tho.

:ss/slowking-galar: + :diancie:
95/90/117/135/147/42
Diancie may not give an ability worth talking about, but it gives great mixed bulk and decent power to anything with an already good ability, it and Avalugg may be the go to for any Regen/Unaware mon.

:ss/dragonite: + :cinderace:
91/163/113/116/118/109
Libero Dragonite so you don't have to Tera Normal, also comes with massive Atk.

:ss/altaria: + :klefki:
75/90/112/90/126/96
Klefki doesn't give the best stats but is the prankster mon that passes the most bulk, Prank Altaria can check stuff with Haze and WoW, while also being one of the few viable Defoggers (if Gholdengo gets banned maybe).

Allright, here's some mons to keep your eyes on

One of the first anime I've ever watched was Gurenn Lagann. For those that don't immediately see the point I'm trying to make here, it's about this young man named Simon, who, one day, discovers this small, controllable robot named Lagann that uses a Hyper-sized Drill to fuse with other robots. Accompanied by the Serene and Graceful Yoko, and Kamina, his hot-headed friend with a Booming voice, they decide to Burst out of their meager village and hunt beastmen to help humanity reclaim the surface world. With nobody at their side at first, they press on and inspire the world over to reclaim what was once theirs.

:sv/florges:

:great tusk: :scream tail: :brute bonnet: :sandy shocks: :slither wing: :roaring moon:

Apart from the obvious protosynthesis, the ancestral anomalies' stats do well here as donors because of the high values they give in multiple applicable stats. It's easy to pick which flavor of protosynthesis you want based on the stat boosts you want to receive!

:vaporeon: :goodra: :alomomola: :Whiscash: :luvdisc:

Walls on rain teams might appreciate hydration to save them from Toxic/paralysis and give them free rests. Speaking of hydration, your throat best not be dry, dear reader! Don't forget to gulp down some water!

:Beartic: :Cetitan:

Slush Rush, despite sounding like an ability that slipperrily sloshes you slow 'til you slalom slovenly, actually does the opposite and show you that "Snow" is more than just one letter away from "Slow": it doubles your entire speed stat while under the diamond dust! Beartic is more Attack-Focused while Cetitan is more HP-Focused

It feels like we're missing something though...

:sv/lycanroc: :houndstone:

Never mind, found it! Here's the sand rush you guys asked for! He also gives a decent boost in attack and speed! Good boy!
What Houndstone? I don't see anything, you guys might be seeing ghosts.

:Gastrodon: :Landorus: :Dugtrio:

And for those who are already dashing around with their eyes closed and their mouth open, panting and full of sand, why not a little power boost? Does this make sand a viable weather again for this generation? I don't know! You nerds are the one playing this game, not me!

:kilowattrel: :froslass: :arboliva:

And to conclude our weather forecast, we'd like to remind our readers that Weather Ball hits hard in weather. It seems obvious when you say it like that, but remember that this becomes a weather-boosted 100BP move. Kilowattrel also gets Hurricane, Froslass gets Blizzard and Aurora Veil, and Arboliva gets Solar Beam, Seed Sower and Terrain Pulse, which is like Weather Ball but for terrain.

:sv/mabosstiff:

Who let THIS dog out? +30 Attack, a great movepool, AND Stakeout? Slap this pupper onto a check, and big damage is guaranteed if your opponent decides to switch.

:sv/Vivillon:

Compound eyes on the right pokémon is downright threatening. If you wanna look the other way, Shield dust is essentially a Covert Cloak in your ability slot.

:sv/salazzle:

Stallazzle could probably work wonders on bulkier/faster mons. She does also pass off a respectable Spa and Spe boost.

:sv/brambleghast:

Wind Rider sounds like an interesting counter to Hurricane / Heat Wave / Tailwind / other wind moves. It gives a +1 in attack, including on your own tailwind, which can make it a pseudo-dragon dance for pivots that want to support their team.

:sv/pincurchin::sv/raichu-alola:

Can you tell my enthusiasm has died down in the last few entries? I can! It's 1:30 in the morning and I am really tired. Anyways, doubt anyone will be using Quark Drive, but for those that do, your synergy options have expanded!

:sv/numel:

Hey Shell Smashers / Quiver Dancers / Power Trippers / Stored... Powerers? Make twice the damage in half the time! It's so Simple anyone could do it!

anyways, use these mons or don't. I'm not the boss of you, and this meta will be overrun by mishmashing OU mons together anyway so who cares. If you have a problem with any of my suggestions, kiss me so I won't be able to talk next time, you coward.

Copycat can't pull Roar

Quick question, does anyone know how forme changes will work, eg Palafin-Hero?
That can't be answered until this is coded for/into PS, which hasn't been done yet. That being said, I would assume that because the base forme is what's being fused and not the transformed Palafin, any fused stat changes would either be permanent and overwrite Palafin-Hero's stats OR just not apply after the transformation.

Just random theorymons(if im using that term correctly?), unsure what this metagame will look like but Uxie might be a solid donor.

Probably looks good on mons like Gholdenego, Ceruledge, Heatran, and maybe Skeledirge? Looks like it'll be good for walls. Speaking of which.

Beefy mon, sucks toxapex can't be the donor. Probably gonna be the primary special wall of the meta, though I think the lack of status (beyond twave, which dont get me wrong - i think speed control is gonna be hugely important in this meta, but still) is a huge shame. Regen is going be on most teams naturally though, unsure if that's a good thing or not.

Something else that could be cool, Volcanion may some real sauce. Hi-braviary for sheer force is a option too. Unsure though if it'll be too slow, but maybe that wont matter for it depending on its role.

you guys think Scream-Tail (Sylveon) is real? Pixilate boomburst ...
Some people were talking about it on Showdown earlier this morning/last night, and I didn't believe.

252 SpA Choice Specs Pixilate Scream Tail Boomburst vs. 248 HP / 252+ SpD Assault Vest Goodra-Hisui: 106-126 (29.2 - 34.7%) -- 6.8% chance to 3HKO

Sylveon - Scream Tail: 115 / 81 / 115 / 92 / 147 / 126
Slowbro - Goodra-H: 80 / 118 / 127 / 135 / 170 / 67

I still don't think I do, not when Heavy Slam is hitting back with 71% minimum.

Also Magnet Pull was missed on the initial banlist but has since been updated.

Quick question, is Ice Scales meant to be free? Because I presume you can inherit Ice Scales from Snom which I don't think is banned (and why is Fluffy banned and not Ice Scales also) unless fusing with Greavard is too much but fusing with Snom is ok.

That's on me -> Ice Scales was on the banlist initially but was swapped out for Frosmoth bc I forgot that there's a baby form with the same ability. It's fixed now since that's more of a human error than something that council forgot to ban.

Time for silly*, untested strats of the new metagame, from yours truly.

Florges (Zarude) @ Life Orb
Ability: Flower Veil
Tera Type: Fighting
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Close Combat
- Bulk Up
- Crunch
- Power Whip
Pretty basic set, obviously the first thing to look for in a new meta where you can change abilities is to what to give flower veil. Zarude is a pretty good inheritor in this regard. flower veil means zarude can't be burned, poisoned, or paralyzed while setting up, and it also can't be intimidated by, well, intimidate users. The spdef boost florges gives is welcome, however, the only other stat that really gets a significant boost is spatk, which is less than ideal. Still, Zarude now can set up and use powerful attacks to wallbreak.

Arcanine-Hisui (Drednaw) @ White Herb
Ability: Rock Head
Tera Type: Ground
EVs: 104 HP / 148 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Shell Smash
- Head Smash
- Earthquake
- Liquidation
Funny Drednaw click shell smash, then click head smash, or other moves. GG. evs are probably suboptimal, I just want it to live a hit first.

Lokix (Sneasler) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Tinted Lens
Tera Type: Fighting
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Close Combat
- Dire Claw
- Switcheroo
- U-turn
What if, now hear me out, Sneasler used an AAA set, but ALSO had boosted stats? Good luck nerds.

Indeedee (Armarouge) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Psychic Surge
Tera Type: Fighting
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Expanding Force
- Armor Cannon
- Aura Sphere
- Shadow Ball
Indeedee giving Armarouge stat buffs is the push it needed to use Psysurge+Expanding Force viably.

Kleavor (Iron Leaves) @ Life Orb
Ability: Sharpness
Tera Type: Fighting
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Leaf Blade
- Swords Dance
- Psyblade
- Sacred Sword
Again, a typical setup version of an AAA Leaves set. Kleavor pushes that attack stat up to a whopping 163, and you could always replace sd/lorb with a scarf set.

Electrode (Glimmora) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Toxic Debris
Tera Type: Rock
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Memento
- Mortal Spin
- Power Gem
This is, in my opinion, the best hyper offense suicide lead in this meta. Electrode makes glimmora reach 123 speed, just under some of the other threats like Kleavor Leaves. Put up rocks quick, get hit and put up tspikes, then use memento and go into one of your setup sweepers, whether it's unstatusable zarude, sharpness Iron Leaves, or Rock Head (Shell) Smash Drednaw, and win.

Might as well put a special attacking setup sweeper here, so
Enamorus (F) @ Life Orb

Draining Kiss for recovery, Volt Absorb Jolteon is honestly the best mon for enam to inherit. Have fun!
*Silliness unverified by professionals. FakeFan0 is not liable for any losses and/or hax that occurs with one or more of the above endorsed mons involved. Side Effects include, but are not limited to, Close Combat Zarude defense drops, outsped glimmora, uturns on 2 bug weak pokemon, dire claw never working, and armarouge still being slow AF. If any of the above symptoms, or other ones, occur, seek out counseling and Git Gud(tm).

:palafin-hero:
Not sure how this will work, I imagine you need palafin as the base and Zero to Hero as the ability, then the fusion stat boost is added to the active form's stats.

:palafin-hero: + :dragonite:
Dragonite (Palafin) @ Leftovers
Ability: Zero to Hero
Tera Type: Fighting
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Bulk Up
- Jet Punch
- Ice Punch
- Drain Punch

Palafin has the highest BST in this meta fused with pretty much any 600 BST mon

:palafin-hero: + :garganacl:
Garganacl (Palafin) @ Leftovers
Ability: Zero to Hero
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Careful Nature
- Taunt
- Flip Turn
- Drain Punch
- Haze

Defensive set
I think many mons will be ok running AAA sets:

:heatran: + :hydreigon:
Hydreigon (Heatran) @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
Tera Type: Fire/Ground/Fairy
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Taunt/Lava Plume
- Magma Storm/Lava Plume
- Earth Power
- Stealth Rock

Levitate on Heatran is pretty self-explanatory

:heatran: + :torkoal:
Torkoal (Heatran) @ Choice Specs
Ability: Drought
Tera Type: Fairy
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Fire Blast
- Earth Power
- Solar Beam
- Flash Cannon/Tera Blast

RIP Eruption, at least you were free for one gen

:zapdos: + :pelipper:
Pelipper (Zapdos) @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Drizzle
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Thunder
- Hurricane
- Hydro Pump/U-turn
- Roost/U-turn

Classic AAA set, though losing Weather Ball is a minor bummer

:volcarona: + :meloetta:
Meloetta (Volcarona) @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Serene Grace
Tera Type: Electric/Flying
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Fiery Dance
- Quiver Dance
- Air Slash
- Psychic/Roost

Fiery Dance always gives +1 and you can try to cheese through checks with Air Slash flinches

:dragapult: + :regidrago:
Regidrago (Dragapult) @ Choice Specs
Ability: Dragon's Maw
Tera Type: Dragon
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Hydro Pump
- Draco Meteor
- Shadow Ball
- Fire Blast

Self-explanatory

:garganacl: + :tyranitar: / :hippowdon:
Tyranitar (Garganacl) @ Leftovers
Ability: Sand Stream
Tera Type: Grass
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Careful Nature
- Recover
- Rock Blast
- Salt Cure
- Stealth Rock

Plenty of rock types can benefit from Hippowdon's Sand Stream +1 SpDef

Just like in inheritance, Regenerator will be everywhere with a wide variety of viable users like Great Tusk and Goodra-Hisui, I could see pretty much any defensive mon being usable as a regen receiver

There's also a bit of a bug with the /fuse command. If one of the two pokemon is invalid, the error message will say that the first pokemon could not be found, even if it's the second one that's invalid:

"/fuse clodsire, aaaaa" -> "Error: Pokémon 'clodsire' not found."

:palafin-hero: + :dragonite:
Dragonite (Palafin) @ Leftovers
Ability: Zero to Hero
Tera Type: Normal
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Bulk Up
- Jet Punch
- Roost
- Extreme Speed

:palafin-hero: + :garganacl:
Garganacl (Palafin) @ Leftovers
Ability: Zero to Hero
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Careful Nature
- Salt Cure
- Flip Turn
- Recover
- Haze

You obviously won't be able to use the hero form as the fusion, though palafin's Jet Punch could still be useful:

:scizor: + :palafin:
Palafin (Scizor) @ Life Orb
Ability: Technician
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Bullet Punch
- Jet Punch
- Trailblaze

Scizor also has the option of Baxcalibur for the fire immunity and unlike with Flash Fire, actually get stronger from fire moves:

:scizor: + :baxcalibur:
Baxcalibur (Scizor) @ Leftovers
Ability: Thermal Exchange
Tera Type: Ground/Ice
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Iron Head
- Earthquake
- Icicle Crash

I think many mons will be ok running Inheritance and AAA sets:

:landorus-therian: + :salamence: / :dragonite:
Salamence (Landorus-Therian) (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate/Moxie/Multiscale
Tera Type: Ground/Normal
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Roost
- Dragon Dance
- Earthquake
- Dual Wingbeat/Extreme Speed

Landorus gets dual STAB + reliable recovery

:heatran: + :hydreigon:
Hydreigon (Heatran) @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
Tera Type: Fire/Ground/Fairy
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Roost
- Flamethrower
- Earth Power
- Stealth Rock

Levitate on Heatran is pretty self-explanatory

:heatran: + :torkoal:
Torkoal (Heatran) @ Sitrus Berry/White Herb/Choice Scarf/Choice Specs
Ability: Drought
Tera Type: Fairy
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Eruption
- Earth Power/Fire Blast
- Solar Beam
- Shell Smash/Tera Blast/Fire Blast

There's a reason torkoal is banned in inheritance

:zapdos: + :pelipper:
Pelipper (Zapdos) @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Drizzle
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Thunder
- Hurricane
- Hydro Pump/U-turn
- Roost/U-turn

Classic AAA set, though losing Weather Ball is a minor bummer

:volcarona: + :dudunsparce:
Dudunsparce (Volcarona) @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Serene Grace
Tera Type: Electric/Flying
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Fiery Dance
- Quiver Dance
- Earth Power/Air Slash
- Thunderbolt/Thunder

Fiery Dance always gives +1 and Volc gains some much needed coverage for Water types and Heatran

:dragapult: + :regidrago:
Regidrago (Dragapult) @ Choice Specs
Ability: Dragon's Maw
Tera Type: Dragon
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Dragon Energy
- Draco Meteor
- Shadow Ball
- Fire Blast

Self-explanatory

:garganacl: + :tyranitar: / :hippowdon:
Tyranitar (Garganacl) @ Leftovers
Ability: Sand Stream
Tera Type: Grass
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Careful Nature
- Recover
- Dragon Tail/Whirlwind
- Salt Cure
- Stealth Rock

Plenty of rock types can benefit from Hippowdon's Sand Stream +1 SpDef

Just like in inheritance, Regenerator will be everywhere with a wide variety of viable users like Great Tusk, Goodra-Hisui and Dondozo, I could see pretty much any defensive mon being usable as a regen receiver

Moves aren't passed so will have to change those sets a bit.
