Movepool (bold moves are ones I can see being used relatively often):

Physical: Ice Fang, Ice Spinner, Ice Shard, Icicle Spear, Triple Axel, Spark, Supercell Slam, Thunder Fang, Wild Charge, Bug Bite, Pin Missile, Megahorn, Fell Stinger, First Impression, Skitter Smack, Twineedle, U-Turn, Dual Wingbeat, Facade, Take Down

Status: Snowscape, Aurora Veil, Haze, Thunder Wave, Electric Terrain, Charge, Magnetic Flux, Magnet Rise, Powder, Roost, Stun Spore, Agility, Work Up, Screech, Protect, Rest, Sleep Talk, Endure, Substitute
Description:
Flavor: This rare type of bee, found near the magnetic poles of the Pokemon Planet, always lived in cold places but due to close proximity to the magnetic poles developed electric tendencies. Over time, this shift Polaribuzz's typing from Ice/Bug to Ice/Electric, but it still knows a lot of Bug-type moves and a Bug-exclusive ability in Compound Eyes. It's fairly passive as long as it stays unprovoked, but it has very strong elemental tendencies and can be quite aggressive if messed with.

Competitive: BoltBeam STAB mon that was designed around using Compound Eyes. Blizzard / Thunder go from incredibly unreliable to 91% accuracy, and Thunder Wave is almost perfectly accurate (can't wait for that 99% move to miss lol). It also gets Bug Buzz, Hurricane, and Giga Drain for important coverage on special sets, which are designed to be the primary attacking type. Despite that, it has even offenses and a surprisingly good physical movepool. Compound Eyes gives it reliable dual STAB in Triple Axel and Supercell Slam, and solid coverage in Megahorn and Dual Wingbeat. It struggles to set up, only having Agility and Work Up, so it's not a set up sweeper. On the other hand, it has really solid utility. Volt Switch and U-Turn for pivoting and Thunder Wave (or Stun Spore if you hate Grounds) to spread status, along with reliable recovery in Roost, give it a solid utility set, which also likes its high speed. Its weaknesses include mediocre attacking stats (to counteract having reliable Blizzards and Thunders), ugly defensive typing, really wanting to run HDB, and not the greatest coverage.

One final note I want to make is that Magnet Pull is a potential unhealthy ability, however I don't think it's unhealthy here as Polaribuzz has no great way to actually kill the Steels it has trapped. I just think it's a neat flavor ability that could give it an extra niche. If this is cause for concern or a veto, the replacement ability is Shield Dust.

Description: Huge special wall with great defensive typing. Description: Despite its low stats, Nimbox's incredible offensive typing, STAB moves in Hurricane and Focus Blast in combination with No Guard, and Nasty Plot make it a potent sweeper. Its incredible coverage works very well with No Guard, as moves such as Blizzard and Thunder allow it hit the entire metagame at least neutrally. It also serves as a solid Defogger due to being immune to most hazards while also not being weak to Stealth Rock. However, its low stats still make it reliant on set-up, and can easily be revenge killed by faster Pokemon.

Astonish (1), Growl (1), Ice Punch (1), Aerial Ace (1), Metal Claw (6), Powder Snow (10), Phantom Force (15), Slash (19), Echoed Voice (24), Iron Defense (28), Ice Beam (33), Meteor Mash (37), Glacial Lance (42), Metal Sound (46), Sacred Sword (51), Blizzard (55), Autotomize (60), Perish Song (64)

Universal Scarlet/Violet TMs/Tutors + Charm, Agility, Protect, Acrobatics, Psybeam, Confuse Ray, Disarming Voice, Facade, Aerial Ace, Hex, Snarl, Metal Claw, Swift, Magical Leaf, Icy Wind, Low Sweep, Air Cutter, Stored Power, Night Shade, Fling, Endure, Snowscape, Smart Strike, Psyshock, False Swipe, Brick Break, Zen Headbutt, U-turn, Shadow Claw, Foul Play, Bulk Up, Air Slash, Body Slam, Ice Punch, Dragon Claw, Dazzling Gleam, Taunt, Swords Dance, Body Press, Imprison, Flash Cannon, Fly, Skill Swap, Iron Head, Iron Defense, X-Scissor, Aura Sphere, Tailwind, Shadow Ball, Hyper Voice, Psychic, Heavy Slam, Encore, Ice Spinner, Calm Mind, Baton Pass, Reversal, Ice Beam, Misty Terrain, Blizzard, Phantom Force, Focus Blast, Hurricane, Brave Bird, Close Combat, Steel Beam

Description:
Valkyregent is a swift and deadly mixed attacker whose type combination affords a bunch of key resistances or immunities to Fairy, Psychic, Dragon, and Ice itself, at the cost of crippling weaknesses to Fire and Fighting, warranting its reliance on Queenly Majesty to ward off Mach Punch and other priority moves so it has more breathing room for setting up with Swords Dance, Autotomize, Calm Mind, etc. Support options include the ever-useful Taunt, Baton Pass, and weather and terrain setup, as well as Imprison if you want to take a gamble against any incoming super-effective attacks, but one notable other move in this respect is Skill Swap. Queenly Majesty isn't a bad ability by any means, but if you can swap it with an ability to either boost Valkyregent's offensive stats or debuff its opponent (e.g. Guts, Intimidate, Steely Spirit...), it may be worth doing so, especially if the opponent needs that same ability to actually function. If you were looking to use Valkyregent offensively, its offensive STAB obviously includes Meteor Mash and Glacial Lance as its best moves, the former being boosted by Iron Fist (which also makes Ice Punch a viable single-target option), with additional type coverage including Flying, Psychic, Ice, Grass, Bug, and Fighting; Ghost and Fighting in particular have near-perfect neutral coverage, as Aegislash can tell you due to knowing Sacred Sword, too - although unlike Aegislash which gets Rock Slide and Head Smash, Valkyregent has no answers to Fire-type attacks, not helped by its own mediocre defenses; its main objective is thus to use its high speed stat to beat the crap out of the opposition before it has the chance to react. Luckily, Meteor Mash gives Valkyregent a physical attack boost each time it is used, enabling even a Queenly Majesty set to kick off a snowball effect to buff its own offensive power to devastating proportions.

Design:
This rare but amazingly beautiful harpy-like creature has anatomy that's midway between humanoid and avian; its torso is anthropoid, slender, and upright, but its legs are three-toed, digitigrade, and avian with one huge, sharp talon facing back and the other two forward; it has arms instead of wings with hands that resemble its feet, and flies using a cape extending from its back and shoulders that looks like it's made of ethereal feathers, dark blue fading to indigo and then violet at the ends; it spreads the cape a la Batman when airborne. Bluish silver armor plating can be seen upon its breast, shoulders, waist and upper legs, and forearms, the rest of its body being a light purplish blue with black hands and feet and silver talons. Upon each gauntlet, close to the wrist, is a small knob which can project icy blue energy, allowing it to form a freezing, thin wrist blade like a lance in one hand and a round shield in the other, though it can also use these knobs to fire blasts of icy energy shaped like arrows to attack from a distance. Its neck and head are similar to those of Gardevoir, but the eyes are half-circular and glow a blinding white, trailing wisps of white light from them; the "helmet", meanwhile, is also made of silver armor, and looks like an eagle's head and beak, covering most of the face with the eyes set where a bird's eyes would normally be. The helmet also has two wing-like "ears" comprised of the same ghostly feathers as the cape, one on each side, and trailing from the back of it is a long, flowing, aurora-colored wisp of yellow, light green and icy blue in a manner reminiscent of a ponytail. The shiny sprite has a light orange body in place of light blue, and the blue/indigo/violet of the cape/head wings and the yellow/green/ice-blue of the ponytail are reversed. The armor and talons, meanwhile, have a more brassy hue to them, reminiscent of tarnished silver.

"According to legend, it supposedly appears only to those who are destined to die in glory. Collecting even one of its feathers is said to be an omen of both great fortune and impending doom."
"In ages past, it was said to have led a great army to victory against dark forces, but at great cost. The awe-inspiring gleam of its silver armor could inspire courage and frighten off evil spirits."

This design is based on a valkyrie, female spirits from Norse mythology that were said to guide worthy souls to Odin's hall of Valhalla; the armor is silver because I couldn't think of any other metal-related word aside from argent that could form a decent pun with that word, although silver was historically said to ward off evil, and that combined with valkyries being servants of Odin himself hopefully justifies Queenly Majesty as an ability. There honestly isn't that much more depth to this one but I picked Steel/Ice specifically to help fulfill two of the conditions for this set (my orevious attempt at subbing this was Ghost/Steel). I imagine this Pokémon would be a minor legendary or even a Mythical, but I suppose it could also be a more mundane late-game rare find that just happens to be extremely powerful.

Name: Pteradrone (Pteranodon + Drone)
Set Number: 2 (Typing and abilities taken from Nimbusteed)
Weight: 55 lbs
Stats: 63 HP/90 ATK/79 DEF/99 SP ATK/70 SP DEF/119 SPD = 510
Typing: Flying/Electric
Abilities: No Guard (Hidden Ability: Infiltrator)

Movepool (Level-Up):
Gust (1), Cut (1), Fake Out (1), Spark (1), Wing Attack (1), Bounce (5), Aerial Ace (9), Shock Wave (13), Thunder Wave (17), Double Kick (21), Air Cutter (25), Thunderbolt (29), Wild Charge (33), Acrobatics (37), Volt Switch (41), Roost (45), Thunder (49), Morning Sun (53), Whirlwind (57)

Universal Scarlet/Violet TMs/Tutors + Double-Edge, Body Slam, High Horsepower, Swords Dance, False Swipe, Fly, Weather Ball, Heat Wave, Hydro Pump, Water Pulse, Air Slash, Hurricane, Rain Dance

Role:
Pteradrone is an agile and lethally precise special attacker which takes full advantage of No Guard to unleash incredibly powerful attacks without having to worry about inaccuracy, at the cost of being unable to escape any incoming attack in turn. With No Guard allowing it to make full use of Thunder, its main STAB option is resisted or blocked by only four types, and Grass is easily taken care of with Hurricane; even the weaker Air Slash and Air Cutter aren't unusable here. Being an Electric-type that's immune to Ground and only vulnerable to Rock and Ice, its Water- and Fire-type coverage will hopefully allow Pteradrone to deal with such threats, especially on sun teams, though its only answer to Ice-types is Heat Wave and without proper team support to take care of blind spots or clear away things that can resist its strongest attacks, it's probably for the best that it's able to naturally learn Volt Switch, because it's probably going to be clicking that a lot. Its defenses leave something be desired (especially given the downside of No Guard) and as a Flying-type it has every right to be scared of Stealth Rock, but since it's quick enough to have a good chance of peacing out before its opponent even realizes what's happened, it's not as if it has any need to stay in a prolonged battle anyway.

Design/Flavor:
To make a long story short, this is what you'd get if a Pteranodon somehow got turned into a mix of a satellite and a predator drone, while still keeping its overall shape. Black (or very dark purplish gray) in color, its long wings are pterosaurian in structure, the membrane being attached to its arms and a single long, black wing finger as well as its legs down to the ankle, and overall shaped like a long triangle with a rounded tip; the membrane is bright blue like solar panels and a grid-like pattern of glowing yellow lines on it, with three small yellow wing claws and a blue-gray sphere for the shoulder of the black limb portion. The legs are also quite strong with three-clawed feet resembling those of Skarmory, though not as strong as the wings since it takes off by vaulting into the air in a bat-like fashion (though it can still kick and jab with any of its limbs during melee combat). Its eyes, from which it fires devastating laser beams to attack, are solid yellow and surrounded by a gray mask pattern like night vision goggles, while the medium-length, straight crest at the back of the head, which is blue like the wings, is segmented with another yellow spike on the end to make it resemble an antenna. Its long beak is straight, gray and toothless, and the small, three-toed feet (which can't grasp like Aerodactyl's can) are also gray; like the real animal, its tail meanwhile is a short stub. It also has yellow angular glowing circuit-board lines on its body here and there like the bodysuits from TRON, to further emphasize the cybertronic look. Its shiny has eyes, spikes, and circuit patterns that are cyan in color, while the wings and crest are now a luminous orange-yellow.

"Despite being a modern creation, its design resembles an extinct relative of Aerodactyl. It draws in lightning using its head crest to power the beams of energy it fires from its eyes."
"Once engineered for surveillance, it has since been repurposed as a long-ranged weapon. Using its exceptional vision to aim, it can shoot down a fist-sized target from six miles away."

If the name and signature move weren't obvious enough, Pteradrone is based on a laser-blasting attack drone crossed with a Pteranodon. Aerodactyl is literally the only pterosaur Pokémon in existence thus far, so I thought it'd be fun to try creating another with somewhat more accurate anatomy; the overall design is a bit of a visual contrast in that it's an extinct creature crossed with a futuristic object, not unlike Pteramon from Digimon which partly inspired it. This sub also takes a few cues from satellites as well, what with the idea of satellites raining hell on the surface world with incredibly destructive beams being a trope in and of itself.

Description:
Rockshasa is slow, but potent. With a type combination that only rarely deals ineffective damage, it's easily capable of inflicting tremendous damage with high-power Meteor Beams, Stone Edges, Shadow Balls, and Phantom Forces, and as none of the types weak to each of its STAB types overlap each other, this allows it to hit six different types super-effectively and threaten a variety of different opponents into switching out, leaving them vulnerable to Stealth Rock if it can set it up. Coverage options it has at its disposal include Ground, Fighting, Fairy, Steel, and Dark, though only the first three are useful against Steel, Dark, and Fighting, respectively, leaving it without any answers to Ground, Water, or Grass. It also has few recovery options for something meant as a slow, defensive tank, with only Rest and Drain Punch to make use of, though a Rest/Sleep Talk set could be an interesting ploy due to how few Pokemon can resist its strongest attacks. Its abysmal speed, while certainly counterproductive towards its offensive mindset under normal circumstances, also makes it a force to be reckoned with under the Trick Room effect, turning it from a hulking, lumbering gatekeeper that can do little more than trading hits with equally sturdy opponents into a quick and terrifying instrument of destruction.

Design:
This gigantic rock elemental resembles a blocky humanoid, with carved regalia in the vein of Southeast Asian artwork of fantastical creatures and characters. It has four arms, two on either side, each with forearms shaped like massive spiked kanabo and four-clawed hands like an eagle's claws; its plantigrade feet are also eagle-like, though its short, stout legs are otherwise humanoid. Notably, its torso consists of three different sections, growing larger from top to bottom, and is also split in half with a solid-colored division like a Balinese candi bentar or split gate, with a portal to another world joining its two halves shaped like an arched gateway made of ghostly purple and blue energy. The top section of the torso on each half also bears a fearsome face carved on it resembling a rakshasa statue, with luminous bulging eyes, fearsome teeth and tusks, and two short horns; each face also has one large, bat-like ear, on the side away from the split part of each half. It is overall sandstone red in color, but with golden rings on its wrists, ankles, and the joints where its limbs meet its body.
When using its special or Ghost-type attacks, this Pokémon summons supernatural energy through the portal between its corporeal halves, sending out ghostly arms, energy blasts, or even smaller spirits to fight on its behalf.

"A Pokemon that consists of two separate bodies joined together by a field of paranormal energy. It's said that coming into contact with this energy field will transport you to the Ghost World."
"Legend has it that it was once a single Pokémon whose two heads kept arguing until they split their body in half. Their bond is strong enough, however, that the two halves remain inseparable."

This design is a combination between a candi bentar, a type of split gate common in Balinese architecture, and a rakshasa, a fearsome humanoid from Hindu mythology that's often equated to evil and destruction. Having been to Indonesia before, however, I've learned that rakshasa are not always malicious, and the term actually means "giant" rather than "demon" as is commonly assumed. As such, while this sub does learn a lot of Dark-type moves, I instead made it Ghost-typed due to its connections to the supernatural, with the Rock type being due to the fact that many Southeast Asian depictions of fantastical creatures like rakshasa are in the form of statues and temple relief carvings, as well as the candi bentar often being made of bricks or stones. Since the temple complexes behind these gates are often used for ritual and religious purposes, especially with the gates themselves having no defensive value, I felt like it wouldn't make sense for this sub to be purely defensive in nature, especially given that one of the objectives (which I used for my sub for this set) seems to skew entries fulfilling it towards a more offensive role.

Even without an item, it has way too easy of a time setting up, and its lack of coverage doesn't mean much when it hits the entire meta neutrally anyways. I would remove NP and SD, if not lowering stats by a considerable amount.

Congratulations to flareth13, Jrdyop :), and DenebStargazer for winning, and, as always, thanks to all of you for your contributions throughout Fakemon Frontier! Council had a blast running slates, and I hope all of you also had fun crafting your silly little Fakemon.

However, the job's not done yet! The most crucial part to any Pet Mod, especially ones not based of off existing tiers, is to playtest. I cannot stress how crucial simply playing the game is to the balancing process, and will not stop encouraging you guys to play the meta, no matter how good or bad you think you are at Pokemon. So hop onto DragonHeaven, build a team, ping matchmaking in the Discord and play!

But before that, some of our movepools are looking a little barren, and, as we learned from Restrictions, empty movepools make building very hard, so we're gonna go the extra mile and make sure our movepools are as full and realistic-looking as possible! I'm gonna ping a couple people to finish movepools for certain Fakemon. Send them in the Discord or DM me on Smogon.

Need a Lot More (useful moves are probably fine, just add all the weak flavor moves like Tackle and stuff)
anaconja Thermollusk
Orangesodapop Decibird (do you want universal tms on this or no)

Totally_Odette Ascenshine
zxgzxg (lmao) Nitrophend
zxgzxg (laugh at this user) Folia

Need a Little More (just add a lil of that flavor :D)
Beebos Gobblen
Beebos Manchini
anaconja Toxatrice (do you want universal tms on this or no)
Jrdyop :) Dreadpool
anaconja Serpolt
Jrdyop :) Iron Salvo

if you dont do em, council will >:D

After that, look out for announcements for small room tours to gather data for viability lists and sample teams that will make approaching the format much easier! Let us know in the Discord about your interesting in playing and setting up these resources, because the more hands we have on this, the better. Also, the sooner we can get resources together, the sooner we can set up a big forum tour!

Once again, thank you all for participating in Fakemon Frontier, and we hope to work with you all to develop the format. See you guys around!
