Slate 8 - Mascot Legends
So, next up, the mascot legends. You know the ones - they typically have a massive BST of at least 670 and tend to be the designed as the most powerful Pokemon of their region. There's usually three, but the earlier generations of Pokemon didn't follow this rule. As of late especially, they almost all seem to have an alternate form attached to them as well. But once again, we don't have to follow those rules if we don't want to! You're free to make the BSTs as high as you feel would be popular with voters.

If you want my opinion though, it would be most interesting if you made them have a similar power level to the starters. We could easily split this into two tiers, Extreme Reboot OU and Ubers, but I don't think it would be as cool as it would be to just make the Ubers usable in OU. You could easily do this by A) making them have Regigigas-esque ability nerfs for their high BST or B) making them Necrozma-esque and making one form have a lower BST and having whatever other forms for flavor or a potential Ubers.

Otherwise, that's about it! You can only create one new move, one new ability, or one new item per Pokemon. Much like last slate as well, we'll be voting for users rather than individual Pokemon, so make sure you have everything you want in your sub. You're able to make as many or as few Pokemon as you see fit for your sub though. Also, feel free to mention if you want to make yours insanely broken and just unusable ingame or something similar with flavor. You have one week! See you then!

My legendary trio is based on sort of an origin story for the Extreme Reboot universe. It's based on the idea from the Sinnoh-region games that Palkia and Dialga can reboot the universe. It looks at things thousands of years later from the perspective of people who don't quite know what happened, so I tried to leave it somewhat mysterious.
Edit:
Just in case someone is doing these (I would be honored)

-Cyrome - It's a person who made themselves into a god-like pokemon
-They should have book/ink/pen motifs
-Scribe and Author forms should be humanoid
-Feel free to ignore everything else I wrote about these

-Darkira - It's Giratina
-Just make two new forms of Giratina

-Lakera - It's related to the lake trio, or maybe the three of them fused
-Feel free to ignore what I wrote. The movepool is slightly coded towards "flower" but then again it is not a spring type, so whatever works.

Cyrome - The Record Pokemon (You find it as part of the story. It gains in power as you find pages of the Book of Reboot)
Typing:
manmade.png
folklore.png

Ability: Critique - If targeted by a Folklore-type move, uses the same move back as a Manmade-type move, at 50% power.
Stats:
Book: 78 / 34 / 82 / 117 / 96 / 28 | 440 BST
Scribe: 78 / 79 / 82 / 117 / 86 / 93 | 550 BST
Author: 98 / 114 / 91 / 142 / 114 / 121 | 680 BST
Moves:
Physical: Swift Strike, Time Bomb, Lingering Spirit, Demonic Fury,
Special: Miscalculation, Quick Read, Boring Fable, Tearing Tornado, Nighty Night
Status: Rules Rewrite, Hard Reset, Decoy, Refurbish, Eerie Spell,
Flavor: Universe Fate, Extreme Reboot, Silver Bullet, Power Word, Reverse Time, Drill Piercer,
Description: All-out attacker that spams its powerful Miscalculation. It also has decent priority in Quick Read. It will make optimal use of the Pokemon Standard item which together with its great neutral coverage should be quite powerful. It has a few usable support options like Hard Reset, Decoy, and Eerie Spell. The Book form can also be used to set Rules Rewrite (Trick Room). If a Cyrome uses Boring Fable on another Cyrome both will fall asleep.
Scattered Form (0-9% of pages collected, unusable):
Description: Literally looks like a piece of old parchment
Dex Entry 1: What appeared to be a scrap of vellum is apparently a pokemon! It moves as though driven by an unseen force.
Dex Entry 2: On rare occasions it will produce several paragraphs of an unknown script and language on the surface of its body.

Book Form (10%-49% of pages collected)
Description: A silly little book creature with the book as the "mouth", eyes on top, and two "arms" with hands that lay flat on the ground. One has a candle on it, the other an ink well with a quill in it.
Dex Entry 1: It's taken a form resembling a book! Its pages are filled with unknown symbols, and they change regularly.
Dex Entry 2: It's an obsessive record keeper. Upon checking it's pages one time I noticed it had recorded everything I said that day.

Scribe Form (50-99% of pages collected)
Description: Looks humanoid, but with "wings" instead of arms. The entire body is made of book-related parts still: pages, fancy fabric covers, ink quills, bookmark ribbons, etc.
Dex Entry 1: Its growth in power has revealed a terrifying secret: with the stroke of a pen it can alter reality.
Dex Entry 2: In ancient times it defended human civilation from invasion. It seems to be in penance for some reason.

Author Form (100% of pages collected)
Description: (Upon collecting the last page of the Book of Reboot, the symbols morph into something you can read. The writer seems to be lamenting something they created a long time ago.)
Dex Entry 1: Reunited with the last page of the Book of Reboot, it communicated directly for the first time. The message read: "Thank You"
Dex Entry 2: When it moves its penlike arms, it can alter anything about its surroundings.

Darkira - The Avenging Pokemon (Boxcover)
Typing:
night.png
storm.png

Ability: Burning Rage
Stats:
Base: 150 / 100 / 70 / 100 / 70 / 75 | 565 BST
Ancient: 150 / 130 / 90 / 130 / 90 / 90 | 680 BST
Item: Platinum Orb - (Darkira Only) Night and Storm moves deal 1.2x damage. Cannot be removed
Moves:
Physical: Abyssal Slash, Creep Claw, Cataclysm, Rampage, Storm Blitz,
Special: Lurker Lash, Void, Hyper Beam, Obliterate, Close Encounter, Purification, Cascade, Mighty Gale, Retribution,
Status: Hypnotise, Tantalize, Incantation,
Flavor: Curse Blade, Demonic Fury, Spectre Smash, (WIP)
Description: A bulky tank with a very powerful offensive typing. It can be difficult to switch into, but bulky Earth types or Night-neutral Serenity types should handle it eventually. Purification changes your type into Night/Serenity, which has no weaknesses. Hibarrage and Tenquarrel both check this pokemon. Tradituki really hates it.
Base Form
Description: Red and black/grey based on the typing, with golden motifs. The base form resembles a scorpion, with spiked legs that stick into the ground. It has a thick armored skull with eyes that glow red from within their pits.
Dex Entry 1: Analysis of this pokemon's scales suggests that it's older than the universe itself; how this is even possible is unknown.
Dex Entry 2: Legends speak of this pokemon trying to destroy the world, although it seems content to battle at your side for now.
Ancient Form
Description: Has grown into a giant serpent, although it retains a similar head and colors.
Dex Entry 1: It draws power from the Platinum Orb. This seems to be its true form.
Dex Entry 2: According to legend, this pokemon appeared suddenly and caused a fierce battle.

Lakera - The Memory Pokemon (Boxcover)
Typing:
serenity.png
Base Form:
Ability: Ataraxia
Stats:
Base: 75 / 95 / 80 / 75 / 125 / 115 | 565 BST
Ancient: 75 / 105 / 130 / 125 / 130 / 115 | 680 BST
Item: Iridescent Orb - (Lakera only) Heals user by 12.5% when it uses a Serenity move. Cannot be removed.
Moves:
Physical: Serene Slice, Soothing Strike, Patient Pound, Lingering Spirit, Sakura Strike
Special: Purification, Zen Power, Frost Blast, Blossom Out, Thunderclap, Heat Stroke, Growth Power,
Status: Rubbles, Relax, Incantation, Soothing Tune, Balance Out, Enlighten, Power Word, Hitodama,
Flavor: Universe Fate, Serene Shot, Serene Blade, Mind Cleansing, Mind Shield, Moon Blade, Evergreen, Reverse Time, Dormant Power, Shooting Star, Mighty Gale, Rose Field, Sunflower Field, Rice Field, Rainy Season, Arctic Blast, Meditation, Underworld Spring, Hibernate,
Description: Lakera is a fast support pokemon that can set Rubbles, pivot, and check some attackers. Serene Slice is 90 BP STAB with normal priority that recovers 25% at the end of the turn, and is its main method of healing along with its item. Tradituki and Baobloss should handle it well, but it handles Hibarrage and Tenquarrel well in turn.
Base Form
Description: A rather abstract pokemon that looks like a multi-colored lotus flower, with a single eye in the center. Two thin tails extend from the back, flaring out in fan shapes. Red gems dot some of the petals. It floats in the air like Cryogonal.
Dex Entry 1: Scans show mental activity far beyond any human or pokemon. However, it interacts very little with the outside world.
Dex Entry 2: Legends speak of this pokemon's terrifying power, but right now its energy is all focused inward. On what is unknown.
Ancient Form
Description: The Ancient form has eyes on several of the petals, and the center is replaced with a red gem. Multiple tails form a supportive base. I'm imagining something along the lines of Cradily x Xerneas.
Dex Entry 1: It draws power from the Iridescent Orb. This appears to be its true form.
Dex Entry 2: People who have stared into its eyes report having visions of a strange, foreign world. They end up unconscious soon afterwards.

Flavor Moves: Soil, Power Pillar, Aftershock, Earthquake, Golem Throw, Iron Bash
Weight (kg): 700 (Common) / 950 (Dogma)
Signature Item: Book of Logic - When held by Logicas, changes it to Dogma Forme and boosts Manmade and Earth damage by 20%. Can't be removed during battle.
Description: Logicas-Common looks like a giant quadrupedal rock golem, with glyphs from an unknown culture carved onto its body. Its Dogma form becomes a megalith capable of rolling around on its rocky legs, and the glyphs light up with a blue light as it "speaks" or attacks. People who choose to live life through reason often see Logicas to be the embodiment of human ingenuity and strength of mind. It's believed that Logicas was created by people long ago, using their understanding of logic like the sciences of physics and geology to craft a powerful being. No amount of faith could have led to Logicas's creation.

Signature Item: Book of Faith - When held by Doctrinos, changes it to Dogma Forme and boosts Folklore and Sky damage by 20%. Can't be removed during battle.
Description: Doctrinos-Common resembles a huge genie floating on a cloud, with a blank face and a cloud halo above its head. It has two humanlike arms and wears a pure white robe that drapes down to the cloud. Its Dogma form grows another pair of arms, the halo turns rainbow colored, and its cloud swirls around like a lenticular cloud. People who choose to live life through faith often see Doctrinos to be the embodiment of human credence and devotion to a higher power. Doctrinos is widely worshipped, as its light warms the earth, its wind and clouds bring rain, it is the giver of life. No amount of reason could explain Doctrinos's holy might and beauty.

Pokemon Name: Immutatitan
Typing: Serenity / Night

Stats (Common Forme): 100 / 80 / 120 / 80 / 120 / 70 (570)
Stats (Dogma Forme): 100 / 140 / 100 / 140 / 100 / 90 (670)

Flavor Moves: Astral Ascent, Blasphemy, Enlighten, Meditation, Mind Cleansing, Mind Shield, Soothing Tune, Moon Blade, Void, Abyssal Slash, Season Change
Weight (kg): 500 (Common) / 750 (Dogma)
Signature Item: Book of Truth - When held by Immutatitan, changes it to Dogma Forme and boosts Serenity and Night damage by 20%. Can't be removed during battle.
Description: Immutatitan-Common resembles a giant human with closed eyes, sitting in a meditative position. Its body is a somewhat translucent grey, with a spiraling black and white pattern on its chest and back. Anyone who sees this form is overcome by a sense of calm and tranquility. Its Dogma form changes drastically, its body becomes split black on the right half and white on the left half, its eyes open to reveal pupil-less black and white spheres, and it stands up and floats around. It leaves an unsettling dark cloud wherever it goes. Anyone who sees it in this form goes crazy, as if they had just come to a horrible realization of some sort. Few people know this Pokemon, and fewer choose to follow it. Immutatitan represents the truth of existence and the fragility of life. The truth is, in the beginning there was only darkness; and in the end too, there will only be darkness.

This legendary trio is based on 3 Japanese mythology figures (Inari-okami, Tamamo-no-Mae and Ittan-momen(+ofuda) respectively). The type chart is Japanese-related, the starters are Japanese-related, so the box legends should probably be Japanese-related too.

cringe lore incoming

Pokemon: Chaombola
Type:
storm.png

Ability: Roullete | While this Pokemon is active, all secondary effect and critical hit chances are doubled.
Stats: 100 / 80 / 140 / 140 / 140 / 50 (BST: 650)
Moves:
Physical:
Cataclysm, Curse Blade, Gloom Fangs, Item Jack, Rabid Maw, Rampage, Reckless Strike, Sly Slash, Storm Blitz, Tempest, Wild Punch
Special: Chaos Moon, Demon Parade, Glitch, Hyper Beam, North Wind, Purifying Flame, Retribution, Thunder Cloud, Thunder Clap, Twister
Status: Blind Steal, Decoy, Enrage, Get Serious, Tantalize

Flavor: A large dragon-like creature with a body shaped like one of these bingo things. One of two gods of the new world. Wants the world to
Competitive: Bulky offensive tank. While its bulk seems unbreakable, a combination of pure Storm-typing, lack of recovery lead to a more offensive role rather than a defensive one. However, it still holds defensive utility in Serene Grace + status moves.

Pokemon: Hissogun
Type:
night.png

Ability: Restriction | While this Pokemon is active, STAB does not apply to any attack.
Stats: 100 / 140 / 50 / 140 / 80 / 140 (BST: 650)
Moves:
Physical: Creep Claw, Gloom Fangs, Item Jack, Lunacy, Moon Blade, Starlight Crash
Special: Boring Fable, Close Encounter, Cricket's Tune, Hazy Moon, Lurker Lash, Moon Beam, Narcotic Pulse, Retribution, Starfall, Void
Status: Dawn Eve, Hypnotize, Rules Rewrite, Mind Shield, Nightmare, Power Pillar

Flavor: A snake-like creature with scales resembling that of the robes of a shogun.
Competitive: Setup sweeper. While the offensive stats seem oppressive at a glance, its ability eliminates its own STAB, making it hit significantly less hard. Its main strategy is to capitalize on the opponent's lack of STAB to slowly set up Power Pillars in order to sweep.

Pokemon: Arkhaitana
Type:
earth.png

Ability:
Steadfast
Stats: 100 / 145 / 142 / 72 / 60 / 81 (BST: 600)
Moves:
Physical:
Abbysal Slash, Binding Blade, Boulder, Curse Blade, Cut, Drill Piercer, Iron Bash, Lingering Spirit, Serene Slice, Stone Wall, Swift Strike,
Special: Earthquake, Glitch, Obliterate, Retribution, Serene Blade
Status: Balance Out, Earth Bump, Extreme Reboot, Get Serious, Hard Reset, Mind Shield, Restart, Reverse Time, Rubbles, Rules Rewrite, Season Change, Terraform

Relic Wrath | Typeless | Special | BP: 65 | Acc: 100 | PP: 24 | Always hits supereffectively.

Varies with the primary type of the target.

Spring - "Wing Attack was summoned!"
Summer - "Bubblebeam was summoned!"
Autumn - "Aurora Beam was summoned!"
Winter - "Flamethrower was summoned!"
Night - "Leech Life was summoned!"
Earth - "Razor Leaf was summoned!"
Sky - "Rock Slide was summoned!"
Sea - "Thundershock was summoned!"
Serenity - "Night Shade was summoned!"
Storm - "Psywave was summoned!"
Folklore - "Dragon Rage was summoned!"
Manmade - "Bone Club was summoned!"

Flavor: A pokemon clad in samurai armor, ornated with a strange dragon-like skull on its helmet. It's rumored to be from another universe and has otherwordly powers. It is set on restoring the old universe.
Competitive: Mixed wallbreaker. Stats and movepool mirror that of Buzzwole (cool mon), except it has a spicy ass coverage move in Relic Wrath, which chunks physical walls like Tradinuki.

Pokemon: Mew-Revived
Type:
manmade.png

Abilities:
Celestial
Stats: 50 / 50 / 50 / 50 / 50 / 50 (BST: 300)
Moves: Relic Wrath (no universal moves)

Flavor: Mew has been revived by Arkhaitana, but due to the new environment and incompatability with the new universe, it is significantly weaker.
Pokemon: Mew-Rebooted
Type:
manmade.png

Abilities:
Celestial
Stats: 100 / 100 / 100 / 100 / 100 / 100 (BST: 600)
Moves: Relic Wrath, Every move EXCEPT 25 Recorders, Bare Fruit, Bramble Whip, Chaos Moon, Daisy Chain, Eerie Bargain, Jumpscare, Obliterate, Sharpen, Shooting Star, Spectre Smash, Sea Shanty, Shroom Spores

Flavor: After some time, Mew is restored to its former power, adapting to the new types of the new universe.
Competitive: Mew does what Mew does. It serves as a great hazard setter, and due to its large amount of coverage, can run offensive setup sets, although pure Manmade is not really the optimal type to do that.

Signature move: Equilux beam- special: type-autumn power: 120 acc: 100 pp: 8 Effect: This move is neutral against all types.
Sig. Item: Deity's Vase- Changes eurinox to its equilux form
Height: TBD
Weight: TBD
Description/Flavor: This pokemon is based off the greek god of autumn eurus and the equinoxes, spring and autumn, respectively. It also is the main legendary of this trio. Its purpose is to keep the balance between borintor and persunder and is a symbol of stability in wherever extreme reboot is set. An equilux is when the length of day and night are exactly the same during an equinox. I used this definition to design the ability equinox which both forms will find useful in competitive.

Loosely Based Off the 4 Chinese Constellations
Name: Eau (Fr*nch for water) + Long (Chinese Dragon). Pronounced just like the tea.
Type: Folklore/Sea
Ability: Rainbringer
Stats: 100/85/100/85/100/130, 600
Moves: Astral Ascent, Cascade, Coral Cover, Holy Water, Ocean Blast, Ocean Tide, Rainy Season, Season Change, Season's End, Submerge, Typhoon, Wash Away, Wave Splash, Whirpool, Blossom Out, Headwind, Dew Shower, Dive Bomb, Growth Power, Hot Shower, Hypnotize, Intimidate, North Wind, Purification, Spring Dance, Legend of the Dragon + Universal Moves
Weight: 203.5 kg
Description: A blue Eastern Dragon with the power to command the rain and the seas, bringing growth to even the driest areas. This is your typical weather setter. Has decent bulk, but no recovery. It cannot abuse its own weather much because of its low offenses, but can allow its teammates to access that power with access to "insert pivot move.

Legend of the Dragon: Folklore/100 BP/100% Acc/16 PP/Non Contact/Physical or Special depending on which stat is higher. (No additional effect)
Name: Pontiac Firebird
Type: Folklore/Summer
Ability: Rebirth
Stats: 60/100/105/120/105/110, 600
Moves: Astral Ascent, Eerie Spell, Relax, Hibernate, Arid Absorption, Firecracker, Heat Stroke, High Noon, Solar Boost, Solar Flare, Sunbathe, Borealis Summer Daze, Sun Kiss, Close Encounter, Bright Ascent, Dive Bomb, Enlightenment, Extreme Reboot, Growth Power, Hard Reset, Headwind, Holy Retreat, Hyper Beam, Purifying Flame, Serene Shot, Sky Split, Supercharge, Tailwind, Toxic Cloud, Wind Drift + Universal Moves
Weight: 16.4 kg
Description: This is just a typical firebird/phoenix Pokémon, which as the western version does, revives after it dies. This is a weird Pokémon, as a complete revive can be obnoxious. However, stall and bulky offense teams are the ones that can usually make those 20 turns happen, but its a bit hard to fit in a Pokémon like this into said teams. On its own, it does pretty well even without an active ability, with decently high offenses and speed and reliable set up.

Rebirth: This Pokémon can completely revive ONCE to full HP if 20 turns have passed after it faints.
Name: Leucism (condition in which the body of an animal has no color/is white) + Sher (Name for Tiger/Lion in some South Asian cultures)
Type: Folklore/Winter
Ability: Bing Chilling
Stats: 100/115/115/85/95/90
Moves: Astral Ascent, Crackling Mountain, Intimidate, Jumpscare, Strength Up, Hibernate, Snow Leap, Blizzari Freeze, Blizzard, Chilling Breeze, Cold Stare, Freeze Over, Frost Blast, Frostbite, Icy Kiss, Season's End, Snowball, Abyssal Slash, Body Bash, Borealis, Creep Claw, Cut, Decoy, Dive Bomb, Enrage, Get Serious, Gloom Fang, Guard Up, Headlock, Lingering Spirit, Luau Leap, Lurker Lash, Mighty Gale, Peekaboo, Obliterate, Rabid Maw, Rampage, Reckless Strike, Reckless Tackle, Sly Slash, Wilt, Withering Breeze + Universal Moves
Snowfall, Winter Gale
Weight: 64.2 kg
Description: A White Tiger, with its black stripes replaced by solid blue streaks of ice. Typical offensive mon, with decent attack, reliable setup, and access to Bing Chilling for an extra boost in its offfensive power. Not much else to say about it.

Stealthy Leap: Folklore/65 BP/--% Acc/16 PP/Physical/Contact/If it moves first it ALWAYS crits. If it doesn't, it NEVER crits.
Name: Nocturnal + Turtle
Type: Folklore/Night
Ability: Midnight
Stats: 40/65/190/65/190/50, 600
Moves: Astral Ascent, Eerie Spell, Lucky Star, Universe Fate, Zen Power, Chaos Moon, Hibernate, Borealis, Shooting Star, Shell Shock, Hypnotize, Moon Beam, Nightmare, Nighty Night, Polar Night, Shooting Star, Speeding Star, Starfall, Starlight Crash, Starshoot, Lunacy, Void, Body Bash, Boring Fable, Cold Stare, Dormant Power, Earthquake, Guard Up, Hazy Moon, Peekaboo, Relax, Withering Breeze
Weight: 537.8 kg
Description: A pitch-black tortoise, with some faint stars in the shape of a turtle visible on its hard shell. This is your typical stall Pokémon, being bulky and having reliable recovery and a great defensive ability. However, lack of utility outside of Curse makes this Pokémon really passive.

Midnight: This Pokémon is immune to Summer Moves, cannot be sunburned, and Sun is completely removed/cannot be set when this Pokémon is on the field.

For my legendaries, I decided to reference Jiraiya Gōketsu Monogatari, or The Heroic Tale of Jiraiya. They are not Naruto references. Each legendary has a signature item that allows them access to a second form designed for Ubers. I also gave them funny abilities in their base forms. sorry for rushed art ;;

Gokaeru
Typing:

Abilities: Transcription
Stats: 100 HP / 130 Atk / 100 Def / 110 SpA / 70 SpD / 90 Spe / 600 BST
Weight (kg): 80.0

Notable Moves:
Binding Blade, Curse Blade, Drill Piercer, Firecracker, Iron Bash, Moon Blade, Serene Blade, Silver Bullet
Aftershock, Cascade, Close Encounter, Frost Blast, Mononoke Dance, Narcotic Pulse, Purifying Flame, Retribution, Seiken, Snow Shuriken, Void
Blind Steal, Decoy, Strength Up, Tantalize, Toxic Cloud

Flavor Moves:
Bubble Punch, Cut, Flake Rake, Hit, Kanchō, Peekaboo, Reckless Tackle, Summer Sword
Zephyr
Earth Bump, Get Serious, Rainy Season, Soil, Tattle Tale

Description:
  • A high Attack stat along with Strength Up seems to suggest that Gokaeru is a mighty physical attacker. However, its paltry physical movepool suggests otherwise.
  • Even with Transcription boosting its STAB attacks by 1.1x, its only good STAB options are special, Close Encounter and Mononoke Dance.
  • However, Gokaeru's wide special movepool along with its solid Special Attack does make it an effective mixed or special breaker that can hit nearly any typing for neutral or supereffective damage.
  • Good physical bulk also gives Gokaeru a good amount of leeway for switching in and potentially trading hits.
  • Mediocre Special Defense leaves it struggling against special attackers.
"A legendary Pokémon as famous as it is mysterious, it only appears when strife is being caused by the most destructive of enemies."
"Having mastered many techniques over the centuries, this skillful Pokémon was a teacher to anyone it found worthy. It is said to have access to an even more powerful form."

Etymology: "Gōketsu" + "Gaeru"
Pronounced: "Goh-kay-roo"

Gōketsu is a Japanese word that can mean heroic, gallant, or masterful. Gaeru is simply the Japanese word for frog.

The hero of the story, Gokaeru is based on Jiraiya, the magical ninja who can command amphibians and shapeshift into a giant toad.

Gokaeru’s signature item, Chaos’ Bane, was inspired by the Reflector weapons from the game Okami.

If held by a Gokaeru, this item changes its forme to Gallant. In addition, its Folklore-type attacks are always critical hits. Unaffected by item negating effects. Item manipulating effects cannot give Gokaeru a Chaos' Bane or remove a Chaos' Bane from Gokaeru.

Gokaeru-Gallant
Typing:

Abilities: Smite
Stats: 100 HP / 160 Atk / 120 Def / 160 SpA / 70 SpD / 110 Spe / 720 BST
Weight (kg): 88.8

"Equipped with the weapon to banish those who harm the innocent, this Pokémon can fell the mightiest of enemies with a single strike."
"It overcomes its foes with lightning-fast speed. Its greatest attack is delivering one thousand slashes in less than a second, creating rapid streaks of light as it rapidly slices its foe to ribbons."

Himekuji
Typing:

Abilities: Blessed
Stats: 90 HP / 100 Atk / 110 Def / 100 SpA / 130 SpD / 70 Spe / 600 BST
Weight (kg): 50.0

Notable Moves:
Patient Pound, Sakura Strike, Sky Split, Soothing Strike, Spectre Smash, Spring Dance, Toxic Tentacles,
Aftershock, Cascade, Dew Shower, Dormant Power, Mighty Gale, Narcotic Pulse, Purifying Flame, Quick Read, Serene Blade, Shroom Fumes, Thunderclap
Balance Out, Cyclone Shield, Eerie Spell, Enlighten, Relax, Rice Field, Uproot

Flavor Moves:
Hit, Sprout Smack
Bramble Whip, Cricket's Tune, Gentle Breeze, Lucky Star, Serene Shot, Underworld Spring, Zephyr
Earth Bump, Energy Field, Mind Cleansing, Mind Shield, Rainy Season, Refreshing Breeze, Soil, Spore Burst, Take Cover, Tattle Tale, Toxic Cloud

Description:
  • Overall great bulk, decent offenses, wide coverage, and extensive support movepool makes Himekuji a potent tank that is able to stay in on offensive threats and trade blows.
  • Himekuji can rid itself of status with Soothing Tune and Sakura Strike, clear fields/Rubbles with Uproot, and wear down the opponent with Eerie Spell.
  • Himekuji can use Relax to act as a bulky wincon. For physical setup; Patient Pound is a good, if slightly awkward, option.
  • Despite its good Special Attack and special coverage, Himekuji is lacking in special STAB options, only having Quick Read and Serene Blade, the latter of which turns into a physical attack if it would be stronger anyway. This means Himekuji must go physical or mixed if it wants to use strong STAB attacks like Spectre Smash or Soothing Strike.
  • Himekuji also lacks any sort of recovery, leaving it easily worn down by hard-hitting attacks.
"A legendary Pokémon that is revered by all bug Pokémon. It scatters a colorful dust that has a plethora of healing properties."
"When Gokaeru appears, Himekuji will arrive soon after. The two are inseparable, working together to vanquish the darkness of the world. It is said to have access to an even more powerful form."

Etymology: "Hime" +"Namekuji"
Pronounced: "Hee-may-koo-shee"

Hime is Japanese for princess (though in Japanese, princesses are usually referred to with the honorific -sama or even Hime-sama). Namekuji is Japanese for snail and slug (Japanese does not differentiate between the two).

The fair maiden, Himekuji is based on Tsunade, a master of slug magic who often rode on the back of a giant slug. Tsunade was Jiraiya's love interest and his greatest partner in battle.

If held by a Himekuji, this item changes its forme to Heavenly. In addition, it receives 3/4 damage from supereffective attacks. Unaffected by item negating effects. Item manipulating effects cannot give Himekuji a Celestial Shroud or remove a Celestial Shroud from Himekuji.

Himekuji-Heavenly
Typing:

Abilities: Regenerator
Stats: 90 HP / 120 Atk / 160 Def / 120 SpA / 160 SpD / 70 Spe / 720 BST
Weight (kg): 55.5

"The sparkling veil it carries allows it tap into the heavens above. It unleashes shimmering beams of light and colorful explosions to strike down its enemies."
"It lets loose shining particles as it hovers around. These particles invigorate and restore the vitality of anyone who touches them."

Guroteserp
Typing:

Abilities: Blight Boost
Stats: 110 HP / 130 Atk / 90 Def / 130 SpA / 90 SpD / 50 Spe / 600 BST
Weight (kg): 400.0

Notable Moves:
Abyssal Slash, Cataclysm, Frostbite, Iron Bash, Lunacy, Moon Blade, Stone Hammer
Aftershock, Arctic Blast, Blizzard, Chaos Moon, Close Encounter, Demon Parade, Dormant Power, Freeze Over, Frost Blast, Ghostly Howl, Mighty Gale, Snow Shuriken, Thunderclap
Decoy, Eerie Spell, Enrage

Flavor Moves:
Boulder, Cut, Gloom Fangs, Hit
Moon Beam, Polar Night
Chilling Breeze, Earth Bump, Energy Field, Nightmare, Take Cover, Tattle Tale, Toxic Cloud

Description:
  • Great mixed offensive stats and coverage makes Guroteserp nasty to switch into.
  • However, Guroteserp's STABs are split between the offensive spectrum, it only learns physical Night-type attacks and only learns special Folklore-type attacks (excluding the unreliable Polar Night and then Chaos Moon whose effectiveness is mixed with Storm). As such, it must run mixed sets if it wants to run both Folklore- and Night-type attacks.
  • Awful Speed and no recovery makes Guroteserp easily pressured offensively.
"A legendary Pokémon that was banished and sealed away. It was defeated by Gokaeru in a climatic duel centuries ago."
"Formerly Gokaeru’s greatest pupil, it seeks to be reunited with its lost scales to regain its true power. Its venom is the most lethal of all Pokémon."

Etymology: "Gurotesu" + "Serpent"
Pronounced: "Goo-roh-teh-sehrp"

Gurotesu is simply the word grotesque as would be pronounced in Japanese.

The foul beast, Guroteserp is based on Orochimaru, a former disciple of Jiraiya who was overtaken by snake magic and now lives as a venomous serpent.

Guroteserp’s head adornments are meant to resemble a kabuto helmet, helmets worn by samurai.

If held by a Guroteserp, this item changes its forme to Grand Eclipse. In addition, its Folklore- and Night-type attacks have 1.2x power. Unaffected by item negating effects. Item manipulating effects cannot give Guroteserp an Accursed Scale or remove an Accursed Scale from Guroteserp.

Guroteserp-Grand Eclipse
Typing:

Abilities: Scavenge
Stats: 110 HP / 145 Atk / 110 Def / 145 SpA / 110 SpD / 100 Spe / 720 BST
Weight (kg): 444.4

"Now at its full strength, this vicious Pokémon soars through the skies, exhaling a deadly miasma and raining terror upon anyone in sight."
"Its once pure white scales have darkened to their true complexion. Legends claim that it will grow large enough to devour the sun, bringing the world into everlasting darkness.”

I've made a pair of mascot legends based on the simple dichotomy between offensive and defensive archetypes. Each has two forms, and the stats of one's Anti-Synergy form mirror the stats of the other's Synergy form. The Anti-Synergy forms reference poorly designed concepts, where a mon's typing, movepool, and ability do not match its stats, making its competitive profile confused and leading to it struggling in viability, even with the monstrous stats box legends are known for. Meanwhile, the Synergy forms are banned. Lol!

Pokemon Name: Insalt-Anti-Synergy
Typing:
storm.png
folklore.png

Abilities: All-Seeing Eye
Stats: 120 / 60 / 160 / 60 / 160 / 110
Curse Blade, Demonic Fury, Headlock, Wild Punch
Close Encounter, Crackling Mountain, Erupt, Fall Back, Hyper Beam, Quick Read, Shroom Fumes
Cold Stare, Extreme Reboot, Hard Reset, Restart, Supercharge, Toxic Cloud
Rampage, Reckless Strike, Reckless Tackle
Boring Fable, Glitch, Obliterate
Blasphemy, Decoy, Earth Bump, Eerie Bargain, Enrage, Get Serious, Pheromonal Gas, Tattle Tale
Gets all Universals
Notes: Insalt represents the grind; the hundreds of hours put into a game. Its Anti-Synergy form represents a failure to achieve the goals one set out to complete, despite spending hours working on it. An extremely fat mixed wall with somewhat reliable recovery, but a horrible defensive typing. Luckily, it still has some defensive tools to work with thanks to pivoting in Fall Back, as well as moves such as Toxic Cloud and Cold Stare.

Pokemon Name: Insalt-Synergy
Typing:
storm.png
folklore.png

Abilities: Gamer Words (If this Pokemon switches in on the turn an ally fainted, its Attack is raised one stage)
Stats: 110 / 160 / 60 / 160 / 60 / 120
Moves: Same as AS
Notes: Insalt-Synergy represents peak performance, the top tier of grinding, but also is still salty since it carries its team so much. Lol! Also the salty to Fruccharin's sweet. Ridiculously good sweeper with multiple busted setup options and a huge movepool. Banned to Ubers.

Pokemon Name: Fruccharin-Anti-Synergy
Typing:
sea.png
earth.png

Abilities: Bipolar
Stats: 110 / 160 / 60 / 160 / 60 / 120
Coconut Bomb, Golem Throw, Ocean Tide
Cascade, Earthquake, Wash Away
Coral Cover, Rice Field, Rubbles, Terraform, Wilt
Banana Split, Bubble Punch, Horde
Alphabet Soup, Bramble Whip, Dew Shower, Ocean Blast
Decoy, Earth Bump, Soil, Squid Ink, Stock Crops
Gets all Universals
Notes: Does not get Sea Shanty. Fruccharin references the food products marketed at gamers, with Anti-Synergy being a horrific mixture of flavor, with bright splotches of color everywhere and a heart attack guaranteed after consuming it. Extremely strong, very fast offensive mon with one of the worst offensive typings in the game, as well as mediocre coverage and a generally lacking offensive movepool. Entirely carried by raw stats alone.

Pokemon Name: Fruccharin-Synergy
Typing:
sea.png
earth.png

Abilities: Big Bellied
Stats: 120 / 60 / 160 / 60 / 160 / 110
Moves: Same as AS
Notes: Fruccharin-Synergy is also extremely vibrant, but with solid tones, and its flavor actually isn't that bad (it'll still kill you eventually though. Lol!) Also the sweet to Insalt's salty. Stupidly fat defensive mon with Big Bellied+Rice Field, and Rubbles. Also has moves like Coral Cover and Wash Away to avoid passivity.

the lore is that EXTREME REBOOT was made by a bunch of epic gamers who liked gaming and wasting thousands of hours grinding ELO in hit game Pocket Creatures (they died of heart failure)

You know the drill. But one little detail - your subs will not be grouped together like the past slates. We will have around 2-4 individual Pokemon as winners rather than users. Otherwise, you have a week, maybe a little less. See you then!
