Gligar (M) @ Yache Berry
Trait: Hyper Cutter
EVs: 236 Atk / 236 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Swords Dance
- Quick Attack
- Acrobatics
- Earthquake

Like Murkrow and Misdreavus, Gligar is back in the game as well! While most Scraggy carry Ice Punch nowadays, Yache Berry is carried by Gligar, making it a very solid check. Gligar takes 78.26% - 95.65% from Ice Punch coming from a max attack Scraggy at +1. Gligar, however, has the ability to strike back with an extremely powerful Acrobatics, since Yache Berry has been used, causing GoldenKnight's Bulkier Scraggy take 90.91% - 118.18% from it. Quick Attack simply ends Scraggy, and serves as a very nice priority move overall. Not only that, though, as Scraggy can boost his Attack stat further, making it 34, which is tremendous. Earthquake is a great STAB, having a very wide neutral coverage. Roost is an option over Swords Dance or Quick Attack, although this set isn't really designed to stay alive for long, but to tear holes in the opponent's team, in order to let something else sweep, such as Mienfoo, Scraggy, or Dratini.

Bronzor @ Eviolite
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 228 HP / 4 Atk / 148 Def / 4 SAtk / 68 SDef / 16 Spd
Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Toxic
- Hidden Power [Ice]

Nothing from Gligar hits it specifically hard, where else a HP Ice from it can pretty much 3HKO Gligar (Or 2HKO for Non-Yache variants). Toxic is a great choice for hitting switch ins, as most people wouldn't stay in with Gligar against Bronzor. Earthquake hits Chinchous for a decent amount of damage, and yeah.

Bow to the almighty Nosepass

Nosepass @ Eviolite
Impish | Magnet Pull
196 HP / 76 Atk / 156 Def / 36 SpD / 36 Spe
-Stone Edge
-Fire Punch
-Thunder Wave
-Pain Split

After a Thunder Wave, Nosepass can wall Bronzor ad infinitum bar an incredible streak of luck from the opponent, eventually wearing it down for other teammates to capitalize off of. Well, the one downside is that Bronzor can Toxic you, but you can switch out whereas Bronzor can't. This set needs proper teammates to work, notably ones that appreciate the weakening of Bronzor and Ferroseed. Drilbur and sand come to mind as good teammates (Nosepass in sand = OMG 40 SpD?) but also a cleric such as Lickitung or even Chinchou.

Nosepass can't touch this.

timburr @ eviolite
adamant | guts
evs: 236 hp/196 atk/76 speed
-mach punch
-drain punch
-bulk up
-payback

Timburr loves taking thunder waves on the switch, 3khoes at least with drain punch (w/out guts) and takes nothing from fire punch. Also, it can use nosepass as setup bait.

Woobat (M) @ Eviolite
Trait: Unaware
EVs: 76 HP / 12 Def / 236 SAtk / 180 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Calm Mind
- Roost
- Psyshock
- Air Slash

Oh my god this is even cuter than Missy <3 ♥ :3
Woobat makes an excellent switch-in into Timburr has it 4x resists its STAB, and both of Woobat's STAB land a super-effective damage on it. Not only that, Unaware means Woobat will ignore all Timburr's Attack and Defense boosts—taking less damage from Payback and hits just as hard with Psyshock. Calm Mind boost Woobat's Special Attack and Defense, and Roost is just an amazing recovery move.

The EVs grant Woobat max Special Attack, that stands on a respectible 15, and Speed, a whooping 17 with Timid Nature. HP EVs also ensure Woobat will be able to switch into Stealth Rock 5 times without dying.

Munchlax (F) @ Eviolite
Trait: Thick Fat
EVs: 76 HP / 236 Atk / 116 Def / 76 SDef
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Body Slam
- Earthquake
- Zen Headbutt
- Pursuit

This. Munchlax can take on Woobat all day as long as it doesnt get to to like +2 or higher. Body Slam hits pretty hard, where else Pursuit hits it hard as it switches out. Zen Headbutt and Earthquake hits Croagunks and Chinchous respectably. With an Adamant nature, the given EVs put it at an attack stat of 19, which is really good for LC standards.

edit: <Furai> munchlax is SHIT <--- rofl

6-Pack (Machop) (M) @ Flame OrbTrait: Guts
EVs: 196 HP / 196 Atk / 116 Def
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Close Combat
- Payback
- Ice Punch
- Bullet Punch

No Munchlax wants to get into a fight with Machop. With Guts Boost
, Close Combat will DESTROY Munchlax. Here's a taste of its power,

Machop's Close Combat (with Guts boost.) on 76 HP/ 116 Def Munchlax 38 Hp - 48 Hp = ~%122.5 - ~%154.8.

Machop is also faster than Munchlax, so it doesnt need to fear Zen Headbutt, unless your switching into it. Ice Punch is nice covereage, hitting Gligar ect. on predicted Close Combats. Payback hits things like Driftloon, Gastly, and Missy, for big damage.
Bullet Punch is a good prioirty move, allowing Machop, to take care of faster and weakend pokes. Machop requires the skill of prediction, but if you have that, your golden.

Croagunk (M) @ Eviolite
Trait: Dry Skin
EVs: 108 Atk / 116 Def / 28 SAtk / 116 SDef / 116 Spd
Naughty Nature (+Atk, -SDef)
- Fake Out
- Vacuum Wave
- Sucker Punch
- Drain Punch

Doesn't take THAT much from even a boosted Close Combat and can hit back pretty hard (especially if Machop is at -1) with Fake Out then Drain Punch and if Machop doesn't go down by then, Vacuum Wave should finish it.

Zubat (M) @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Inner Focus
EVs: 252 Atk / 144 Def / 112 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Brave Bird
- Super Fang
- U-turn
- Pursuit

4x resistances to Close combat mixed with a small investment into defense means Machop will tickle while it lowers its defenses, and can tank a Bullet punch to boot. Otherwise, Brave Bird OHKO's, U-turn can be used for scouting, while Super fang hits any wall for half their life. I suppose Super Fang is stupid on a choice set, but its utility is nice (imo) and its better than the rest of his move pool (Your other choices are: bite, Steel wing, Poison fang). Pursuit gives you some coverage against missy and other ghosts. Bite can be used over it, or if you wanna get ballsy, run a Naive nature and Heat wave as a big fuck you to Bronzor and Ferroseed.

Edit: comatt ninja'd me; but it still works.

Chinchou (M) @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Volt Absorb
EVs: 52 Def / 232 SAtk / 220 Spd
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Volt Switch
- Hydro Pump
- Ice Beam
- Hidden Power [Fire]

Chinchou doesn't fear anything Zubat carries, bar Super Fang, and can utilize its choice Scarf to Volt Switch or Ice Beam Zubat into an oblivion. Factor in Stealth Rock and potentially Sandstorm damage, and that damned bat is a goner.

However, if this is Dark Cave, Chinchou won't have the Power Points to deal with that many Zubat. No matter how many Elixirs you carry.

Please be creative, Chinchou was used 57167326837568 times already -.-

Lileep (M) @ Eviolite
Trait: Storm Drain
EVs: 228 HP / 140 Def / 140 SDef
Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Recover
- Toxic
- Energy Ball
- Hidden Power [Fire]

Lileep is the perfect counter to Chinchou. Not only it resists Volt Switch, Chinchou's secondary STAB, Hydro Pump or Surf, boost Lileep's special attack to +1. Lileep is extremely bulky when coupled with Eviolite, reaching defensive stats of 26 / 24 / 27 which is outstanding for LC. Lileep can Recover the damage it has taken from Ice Beam, proceed to ToxicStall Chinchou, or Energy Ball for the kill. Hidden Power [Fire] is used for coverage against the likes of Shroomish and Bronzor. Stealth Rock can be used over Toxic, as both are amazing support moves. Lileep is best used on a Bulky Offensive team or Stall, as it is one of the best walls in Little Cup, providing the defensive aid for your team.

Gligar @ evolite
evs: 236 atk 236 speed
nature: jolly
ability: immunity
- sub
- sd
- acrobatics
- earthquake

switches in on any move sets up a sub and bam instant sweep.

And for the gligar counter: it's not a bronzor!

Archen @oran berry
EVs: 196 atk, 196 spd, 76 sp. atk
HP Ice
Agility
Earthquake
Acrobatics

Can come in on pretty much everything, especially considering acrobatics has only 55 BP as Gligar has an eviolite ;) . Agilities up, spams HP Ice to kill the bat, and proceeds to use earthquake and acrobatics for a pretty successful sweep (please don't use bronzor...)

Bronzor @ Eviolite
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 220 HP / 4 Atk / 148 Def / 4 SAtk / 68 SDef
IVs: 2 Spd
Sassy Nature (+SDef, -Spd)
- Gyro Ball
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Toxic
- Stealth Rock

I would of used Balloon Shieldon but it sucks.
Bronzor, coupled with huge defense, amazing typing and ability, and super effective STAB make it an amazing answer to Archen. Gyro Ball's Base Power after STAB and 2x damage reaches 150 (max), OHKOing Archen. Not only that, however, as Bronzor resists everything Archen throws at it and can either Stealth Rock or Toxic the foe, in case Archen has switched out. Hidden Power [Ice] is great for all the Gligars lurking around everywhere at the moment, plus hitting for super effective damage other Grass- and Flying-types such as Murkrow and Shroomish. Earthquake is a valid option over one of the aforementioned moves, as it allows Bronzor to hit and possibly OHKO Steel-types such as Magnemite and Pawniard. Psychic is yet another great option, hitting Fighting-types such as Mienfoo and Croagunk as well. The EVs balance Bronzor's defenses while maxing its HP, plus raising the offensive stats (Attack and Special Attack) by one point.

Timburr (M) @ Eviolite
Trait: Guts
EVs: 156 HP / 36 Atk / 156 Def / 156 SDef
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Bulk Up
- Drain Punch
- Mach Punch
- Payback

This. Without Psychic, Bronzor would hit like a pussy vs Timburr. Some people would be like, hey let's cripple it with toxic, but guess what, Guts boost and you're done. Bulk Up allows it to become even deadlier, where else Payback hits ghosts as they switches in.

Abra @ Life Orb
Trait: Magic Guard
EVs: 240 SpA / 200 Spe
Nature: Timid
-Psychic
-Psyshock
-Hidden Power Fighting
-Shadow Ball

Without Psychic, Timburr is unbeatable. With Psychic, Timburr is a piece of crap. HP Fighting and Shadow Ball are for coverage, and Psyshock hits Munchlax hard.

Stunky (M) @ Eviolite
Trait: Aftermath
EVs: 12 HP / 252 Atk / 188 SDef / 4 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Crunch
- Pursuit
- Sucker Punch
- Explosion

The ultimate Psychic- and Ghost- buster. In the case of Abra, a Psychic- type, Stunky is immune to its STAB, resists Shadow Ball, and takes nothing from Hidden Power [Fighting]. In return, Stunky can either Crunch or Pursuit Abra for the kill, where Pursuit is the safer option, due to Abra's shallow 10 Base Defense. If feeling gutsy, Stunky can use its priority Sucker Punch to take less damage from Abra, if the user has predictted Abra will not switch. Explosion is great if you're in low health, but if you want to use Fire Blast to hit Steel-types, feel free to use it over Explosion with Lonely Nature and 52 EVs in SAtk. Stunky has risen with the return of Misdreavus, but suffers from Gligar, who is a huge threat to it.

Growlithe (F) @ Oran Berry
EVs: 196 Atk, 76 Def, 40 SpD, 196 Spe
Timid Nature (+Spe, -SpA)
Ability: Justified
- Flare Blitz
- Wild Charge
- Close Combat
- Protect

You may be wondering "why Justified?" Stunky either has to use a Dark move, giving you +1 Attack to attempt to sweep with, or Explode, which is why Growlithe has Protect. Obviously, you're gonna need a spinner because recoil from Flare Blitz and Wild Charge will add up quickly.

Numel @ Eviolite
Bold | Simple

evs: 196 HP / 116 Def / 156 SpD
-Stockpile
-Rest
-Sleep Talk
-Flamethrower / Toxic

After switching in on an anticipated move from Growlithe, Numel proceeds to set up 1 Stockpile and start walling everything bar Water-types. For those interested in offense, Flamethrower is an option (useful when you consider the opposing Growlithe is not runing Flash Fire) or a Toxic strategy can be used later in the game when the opponent's Chinchou or Staryu has been taken out. Overall an interesting mon, could see use with something like Stockpile Toxic Unaware Wooper to help handle set up sweepers. Unfortunately, Numel lacks recovery outside of Rest, but this is mostly made up for by Simple and Stockpile. If one really desires, Flame Charge could be used in the last slot to double its Speed but such a defensive set really is not considered with how quick it is.

Oshawott @ Eviolite
Modest | Torrent
EVs: 236 HP / 252 SpA
~ Hydro Pump
~ Air Slash
~ Rain Dance
~ Taunt

Oshawott comes in on Stockpile, proceeds to Taunt and then Hydro Pumps Numel into oblivion. Not much else to it. Oshawott is very serious about killing Numel. It has even added Rain Dance to the set just to be sure Flamethrower is doing as little damage as possible. Air Slash can be used to flinchhax Numel to death while you maniacally laugh at the camel's demise. It also hits Croagunk, who is clearly Numel's partner in crime.

I like this thread.

Electrike (F) @ Life Orb
Trait: Lightningrod
EVs: 240 SAtk / 236 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Thunderbolt
- Charge Beam
- Hidden Power [Grass]
- Flamethrower

Oshawott is fodder for any electric-type Pokemon but I'm going for Electrike 'cause it looks cool. Outspeeds by much and OHKO with Thunderbolt; don't use Charge Beam as it fails to OHKO and Hydro Pump has a chance to destroy this frail creature.

Flamethrower and Hidden Power Grass have very good coverage along with Electric STAB. Not much to say, Electrike is frail and fast. Anyway, not a hard poke to counter.

Dratini (M) @ Eviolite
Trait: Shed Skin
EVs: 244 Atk / 36 SpD / 196 Spe
Naughty Nature (+Atk, -SDef)
- Dragon Dance
- Outrage
- Fire Blast
- ExtrmeSpeed

Dratini is definitely a forgotten wonder to me. It was one of the biggest threats to LC early pre-Gligar, Murkrow, and Misdreavus era, and from there it seems like people have forgot about it. Dratini resists everything Electrike can throw at it, and in the meanwhile set up a Dragon Dance to become ridiculously powerful - it reaches 25 Attack and 21 Speed after a single Dragon Dance. The key is to clear the path from Steel-types by surprising them with Fire Blast, and from there sweep with an extremely powerful +1 STAB Outrage. To bypass Sucker Punch users, such as Stunky and Croagunk, Dratini can utilize the new priority mechanics of ExtremeSpeed, being +2 priority in BW. If Gligar and other Ground-types are a threat to your team, Waterfall can be used over Fire Blast with Adamant or Jolly nature, whatever you prefer.

Scarf Chinchou needs more love. good bulk and ice beam let it beat a +1 dratini because espeed isnt going to kill it and ice beam beats its ass into a frozen hell. although chinchou cannot switch into the outrage nothing besides bronzor can so coming in to revenge it is great. also a great revenger to kill common sd gligars but doesnt hit hard eonugh to beat scraggy and missy without prior damage

edit:gay didnt notice chinchou was used os much lol

Ferroseed (M) @ Eviolite
Trait: Iron Barbs
EVs: 4 HP / 36 Atk / 188 Def / 228 SDef
Relaxed Nature (+Def, -Spd)
- Protect
- Leech Seed
- Gyro Ball
- Spikes

Seriously one of the most underrated Pokemon in the meta right now. Comes in on anything Chinchou has sans Volt Switch (which Chinchou will not be using if you have something out like, say, Gligar) and starts setting up. Considering the core of Chinchou / Staryu is relatively uncommon these days, this set actually works so well because the opponent has no way to spin away hazards. Suddenly, something such as Mienfoo is no longer as effective with Regenerator. Suddenly, Croagunk is not as good a Scraggy check. Etc. etc. In any case, good partners include Houndour and Porygon for taking Fire-type attacks, also something that can take Fighting-types such as the aforementioned Gligar, Misdreavus with WoW, or even Larvesta.

come in on spikes set up a sub and lol for some time. you can literally do whatever you want and destroy it eventually. sure it sets up spikes but pack a spinner with you and you just go kick its ass. magnet rise is because i dont like gligar coming in later with you being there to die cause you cant 2hko eviolite gligar. you can run volt switch over thunderbolt but i prefered the power of thunderbolt so much more. also checks murkrow and snover very well!
