Pet Mod Back to Sinnoh (Slate 5 winners + Slate 6: free for all Fakemon slate)

Name: Hurricane
120 BP, 85 Acc, 5 PP
Category: Special
Type: Flying
Effect: Has 10% chance to lower the target's Atk by one stage.
Priority: 0
Potential Pokémon with this move: Available users in Gen 5.
Justification: We're at the beginning of the mod so we have many moves to create, and this version of Hurricane is basically a Fire Blast clone. Can be useful for future Flying mons (such as the Pidgey-like).

Name: Cataclysm
120 BP, 100 Acc, 10 PP
Category: Special
Type: Dark
Effect: Hits two turns after use, calculates damage the same way future sight does in generation 4 (damage on use, not retroactively counting boosts like it does in later gens + unable to crit), however unlike gen 4 future sight it is a dark-type move and is affected by STAB and type effectiveness.
Priority: 0
Potential Pokémon with this move: :absol: :natu:
Justification: Combined with one of my abilities, it can save Absol from the dumpster, and is totally coherent lore-wise.
Edit: I forgor how future sight worked in gen 3, so I copy pasted Akira's description for Starstorm.

Name: Guided Strike
45 BP, 100 Acc, 15 PP
Category: Physical
Type: Psychic
Effect: This move always result in a critical hit.
Priority: 0
Potential Pokémon with this move: :meditite: :metagross: :deoxys: :girafarig: :mew: :makuhita:
Justification: About lore, imagine the user attacking its target with a not really strong power, but striking exactly in one of its weak points, dealing quite good damages despite a weak brute force.Litterally becomes the first physical psychic move, so it can be given to a larger amount of mons (even thought Medicham loves this much more than everyone else).

Name: Mud Bomb
80 BP, 100 Acc, 24 PP
Category: Special
Type: Ground
Effect: Has 20% chance to lower the target's SpDef by one stage.
Priority: 0
Potential Pokémon with this move: :Wooper: :Swinub: :barboach: :diglett: :ekans: :mudkip: :grimer: :poliwag: :numel:
Justification: Just 80 BP for this move is because ground in an insanely strong offensive type, so no need to make a broken burst in my opinion (I made basically a ground Shadow Ball). It's not given to really good mons, and the best user of this is Camerupt (UU in Gen 3 so it's okay I think).

New ability: Bad Omen
Owner: :absol: (as a secondary ability)
Effect: Moves that hits some turns after being used are physical.
Advantages: This ability creates a new niche for Absol : Pressure is useless for a mon as frail as that, and this allows it to use Future Sight in a quite threatening way. But combined with Cataclysm (if it's voted), it can make Absol a real threat I think, in a much more logical way than just being a physical glass cannon.

New ability: Striker
Owner: :hitmonlee: (replaces Limber)
Effect: Kick-based moves deal 20% more damage and have 10% more accuracy.
List of Kick moves: Jump Kick, High Jump Kick, Mega Kick, Double Kick, Blaze Kick, Low Kick, Rolling Kick, Triple Kick, Stomp
Advantages: A slight buff to Hitmonlee's damage output, it has almost no chance to miss now and if it gains new kick moves (we didn't give it Blaze Kick for now) it would be instantly slightly buffed (and we want good fighting types in this mod).

New ability: Merciless
Owner: :seviper: (idk if has a secondary ability or if it replaces Shed Skin)
Effect: Super effective moves deal 25% more damage.
Advantages: Seviper's offensive movepool has some useful tools, such as Flamethrower, EQ or Giga Drain, and it's a mixed mon. I guess giving it this ability can help, even thought it's still Seviper ... But we'll need to give it more moves to make it interesting.

New ability: Normalize
Owner: :skitty: :delcatty:
Effect: This Pokemon ignores every Pokemon's stat stages when taking or doing damage.
Advantages: Yes, this is a broken ability. That's why I don't want to give it to anything more dumpster-tiers than Delcatty itself : it needs to ignore a lot of things to maybe make it usable in a serious way. And the worst with that, is that I don't know that if that can make Delcatty really good event with an ability as broken as this one.
EDIT: Now it's much less stronk. It's basically bootleg Unaware but its user is not Bibarel.

Item name: Choice Specs
Effect: Exactly the same as before
I consider that choice specs are totally logical in this game, and can really help special mons (we do not have Draco Meteor) to have their way in the meta. It's not really exciting but it's one of the few things I would export from gen 4 without any change here.

Item name: Risky Pills
Effect: Raises damages dealt by moves with less than 90 Accuracy by 20%.
Blaziken will love that for its physical sets, and creates more a little game of risk-reward to chose for some mons (we don't have Hone Claws too).

Item name: Fancy Necklace
Effect: If held by a Delcatty, its Atk, Def, SpA and Spedef are raised by 30%, its speed is raised by 50%.
Delcatty sucks so much even a really strong ability is not enough. I made some calcs, and with maximum investments, its speed can be the same as a mon with 105,5 base speed. That's strong, yes, but it won't be able to hold another item, its best ability won't let it use Calm Mind and any Knock Off annihilates it.

Made my modifs for the veto : I give up Choice Specs and Fancy Necklace's boost is now 50% for speed and 30% for other stats.

Name: Bitter Envy

PP: 15

Effect: 1.5x power if the target has an increased stat stage.
Distribution: :absol::bagon::cacturne::carvanha::duskull::dunsparce::ekans::gastly::houndour::mankey::murkrow::nuzleaf::poochyena::sableye::seviper::shuppet:
Justification: A much-needed special Dark move that also punishes setup sweepers.

Name: Poison Darts
Type:

Category:

Power: 25
Accuracy: 100%
PP: 30
Priority: 0
Flags: Protect
Effect: Hits 2-5 times. The first hit has a 20% chance to poison.
Distribution: :beedrill::cacnea::cloyster::nidoran-f::nidoran-m::nincada::qwilfish::roselia::sandslash::spinarak:(Sparktus)
Justification: There isn't really any good physical Poison option post-split since Poison Jab doesn't exist anymore. The potential high-roll power of this move is counteracted by the fact that Poison is one of the worst offensive typings pre-Fairy.

Name: Skitter
Type:

Category:

Power: 80
Accuracy: 100%
PP: 20
Priority: 0
Flags: Contact, Protect
Effect: 10% chance to lower the target's Attack by 1 stage.
Distribution: :anorith::beedrill::corphish::heracross::krabby::ledyba::nincada::paras::pinsir::scyther::spinarak::surskit::trapinch::venonat:
Justification: you know why.

Name: Confiscate
Effect: When the user is knocked out by an enemy's attack, removes the attacker's item (same way as Knock Off)
Justification: Item removal is a lot more niche in earlier gens, so an ability like this adds more methods to achieve it without being incredibly broken.

Distribution: :shuppet::banette::dusclops::sentret::furret::drowzee::hypno::smoochum::jynx::wigglytuff:

Name: Foul Temper
Effect: Doubles the power of the user's next attack if it's move fails to work (same conditions as Stomping Tantrum in later generations).
Justification: Funny flavour ability that notably makes pivoting in immunities against its users more dangerous. This raw power is balanced out by being distributed to currently lower-tier mons.

Distribution: :beedrill::mankey::primeape::tauros::poochyena::mightyena::camerupt:

Name: Cacophony
Effect: The user's sound-based moves have 1.2x power and ignore the effects of Substitute.
Justification: Always thought it was odd that Exploud didn't have an ability that explicitly encouraged it to use sound moves. This does that while ALSO giving its sound moves the property of bypassing Substitute that they would have in later generations.

Distribution: :whismur::loudred::exploud:

Name: Overcoat
Effect: Immunity to Sandstorm/Hail damage, powder moves, and Effect Spore. (same as vanilla)
Justification: We're in one of the perma-sand gens, which means getting a Sandstorm immunity is pretty valuable (except for Forretress who already HAD one but it gets it in vanilla and it felt weird to not give it that). Hail and Spore immunity is also pretty cool, but definitely not as much of a selling point.

Distribution: :venonat::shellder::cloyster::tangela::murkrow::pineco::forretress::zigzagoon::linoone::shelgon:

Name: its every damage reducing berry from Canon Gen 4
Effect: its every damage reducing berry from Canon Gen 4
Justification: More defensive-ish item choices are always nice, seeing as we're stuck with JUST Leftovers right now. They do exactly the sort of thing you'd expect them to do.

Starstorm :minior:
Rock Type - Special
120 base power - 101% accuracy - 5(8) PP - 0 priority
Flags: none
Effect: Hits two turns after use, calculates damage the same way future sight does in generation 4 (damage on use, not retroactively counting boosts like it does in later gens + unable to crit), however unlike gen 4 future sight it is a rock-type move and is affected by STAB and type effectiveness
Distribution: Clefable, Starmie, Omastar, Altaria, Solrock, Lunatone, Razyquaza
Justification: Rock type future sight, we don't have a strong special rock move currently.

Mudslide :marshtomp:
Ground Type - Special
60 base power - 90% accuracy - 10(16) PP - -6 priority
Flags: none
Effect: forces the opponent to switch out (any niche interactions are the same as dragon tail)
Distribution: Nidoking, Nidoqueen, Donphan, Quagsire, Politoed, Swampert, Flygon, Groudon, Kyogre, Yamatoad
Justification: Ground-Type Special move + phazing move

Soul Drain :shedinja:
Ghost Type - Physical
75 base power - 95% accuracy - 10(16) PP - 0 priority
Flags: contact [not currently relevant tags: biting, healing]
Effect: heals the user for 1/3 of the damage dealt, if the target was a Ghost-Type, the user is healed for 100% of the damage dealt
Distribution: Arbok, Crobat, Gengar, Gligar, Houndoom, Shedinja, Banette, Dusclops
Justification: physical ghost move, ghost-targeting effect because soul-targeting attacks are more effective against pokemon that are just souls. Actually can be as much of an anti-ghost tool as a ghost tool.

Magnetic Blast :magneton:
Steel Type - Special
110 base power - 100% accuracy - 5(8) PP - 0 priority
Flags: none
Effect: one layer of spikes on the opponent's side of the field is moved on to your side of the field.
Distribution: Magneton, Electrode, Zapdos, Forretress, Nosepass, Whiscash, Registeel, Deoxys, Inferam (?)
Justification: High power move that has an extreme drawback if used on a hazard team, but is spammable when used on teams that have no/little emphasis on hazards. Even when used freely, it's still Steel type in a pre-fairy meta so it's not too strong, Helps Zapdos hit Rocks hard if it can spare the moveslot.

Titan Armor :lapras:
Effect: The user is immune to indirect damage except from non-volatile status effects.
Users: Wailord (replaces oblivious), Onix Line (replaces Sturdy), Lapras (replaces Shell Armor), Regirock, Registeel, Regice
Flavor: Giant Pokemon are too big to be bothered by hazards and weather effects
Justification: Weaker Magic Guard, grants immunity to chip from hazards and sand but isn't giving an immunity to status chip.

Cloak of Darkness :umbreon:
Effect: If hit by a Dark-Type move, the user takes no damage and its special attack rises by one stage. However, the user loses 1/8th of its max HP every turn during harsh sunlight.
Users: Noctowl (replaces Keen Eye), Ariados Line (replaces Insomnia)
Houndoom Line (replaces Early Bird), Misdreavus, Umbreon, Cacturne Line (?)
Flavor: The user can wrap itself in darkness but becomes vulnerable to direct sunlight, this is kinda weird on Cacturne given cacti live in the desert, but Cacturne is suited for sandstorms not sun.
Justification: Dark immune and gives an alternative to Sand Veil for Cacturne making it usable, gives Misdreavus a niche over Gengar. Downside compensates for buffing an offensive stat.

Potent Acid :victreebel:
Effect: The user's Poison-type moves deal resisted damage to Steel Types instead of Steel Types being immune. The user can inflict the Poisoned or Heavy Poison statuses against Steel-Types.
Users: Victreebel Line
Justification: Why did they put Corrosion on a Fire type?

Savage Force :pinsir:
Effect: The user's physical attacks deal 1.2x damage and the user's attack cannot be lowered. However the user is unable to hold an item (not like klutz, you can't give it an item at all and if it gains this ability the item is destroyed)
Users: Pinsir (replaces Hyper Cutter), Tauros (replaces Anger Point), Gyarados.
Justification: Grants an Intimidate immunity and power buff at the cost of either no lefties or no choice band.

Items:
:silk-scarf: :charcoal: :mystic-water: :miracle-seed: :magnet: :never-melt-ice: :black-belt: :poison-barb: :soft-sand: :sharp-beak: :twisted-spoon: :silver powder: :hard-stone: :spell-tag: :dragon-fang: :black-glasses: :metal-coat:
10% boost -> 20% boost

is a Community Contributoris a Tiering Contributor
UUPL Champion
Name: Cyclone Scatter
Power: 60
Accuracy: 100
PP: 15 (Max: 24)
Category: Special
Type: Flying
Effect: At the start of the turn, the user creates a whirlwind around itself that bounces back status moves. This whirlwind is then scattered in all directions, hurting all foes. The attack will fail if the user is damaged by a move before it can use it. (Focus Punch+Magic Coat effects)
Priority: -3
Flags: Protect
Target: All Foes
Potential Pokémon With This Move: :aerodactyl::altaria::articuno::charizard::crobat::fearow::ho-oh::lugia::mantine::masquerain::moltres::murkrow::noctowl::pelipper::pidgeot::swellow::tropius::xatu::yanma: Birds in general, was mostly looking at wings that seem flexible which is why I don't like it as much on stuff like Skarm/Zapdos. Could also be considered on mons that learn moves like Whirlwind or Twister.
Justification: With Magic Coat being very poorly distributed and being fairly hard to justify due to its limited potential value, I decided to make a more widely distributed option that also yields some more value if you manage to land it. It's not all that powerful, but 60BP is good enough to leave your opponent in a somewhat precarious spot if you manage to land it as you'll also have used a status move in the process. It also doesn't give a free switch as you'll be able to chip opponents switching in. It's still high-risk though, losing a turn is always a pretty rough punish and it doesn't pair as well with Substitute as Focus Punch does.

Name: Chi Strike
Power: 85
Accuracy: 100
PP: 10 (Max: 16)
Category: Special
Type: Fighting
Effect: Deals damage using the target's Defense stat instead of SpDef during damage calculation.
Priority: +0
Flags: Contact, Protect
Potential Pokemon With This Move: :alakazam::celebi::espeon::gardevoir::grumpig::hypno::jirachi::jynx::latias::latios::lugia::medicham::mew::mewtwo::mr-mime::blaziken::hariyama::hitmonchan::hitmonlee::hitmontop::machamp::poliwrath: Yamatoad
This is just a list of Psychic and Fighting types so far, those fit in general. Extra options I like: :clefable::dusclops::gengar:(this one could be scary):golduck::ludicolo::raikou::suicune:
Justification: Limiting decently strong Fighting moves to only being able to target defense will lead to some very interesting interactions where you can expect any Physdef Flying type to be properly able to take on any Fighting move for example. It also makes dealing with Fighting coverage easier for Steel or Rock types which tend to have higher Physdef.

Name: Diamond Charge
Power: 90
Accuracy: 100
PP: 10 (Max: 16)
Category: Physical
Type: Rock
Effect: User takes 25% of the damage dealt as recoil.
Priority: +0
Flags (ex: Contact, Sound): Contact, Protect
Potential Pokémon With This Move: Pretty much every Rock type.
Justification: I don't like accuracy as a drawback for a move, so let's give Rock a reliable STAB. It is a Wild Charge clone however which is a move famous for being kinda shit. The real issue is that move is linked to Electric though, but for Rock, 90BP is pretty solid and the recoil is decently manageable with a few of them having Rock Head and mons like TTar having a sizeable base HP.

Name: Sugar Bag
Effect: Increases the user's speed by 50% on the first turn they are out. Announces itself on switch-in. (Nonconsumable)
Justification: Speed control item, but still can't be used in combination with setup. Allows for one revenge kill per switch-in and then you just play as a normal mon, but itemless. Could be really interesting for lead metagame too.

Name: Bolt Breaker
Category: Physical
BP/Acc/PP: 90/100/16
Type: Electric
Effect: Lowers the user's Defense and Sp. Def by 1 stage after use.
Flags: Standard ones + Contact
Description: If some people want their good physical Electric move, and if others want the best one to suck for thematic reasons, then this attempts to be a better compromise than Wild Charge ever was. Wild Charge has always felt like garbage to use and this aims to be a move that you can sometimes use and feel completely fine with while the move is clearly still a lot worse than most other primary physical STAB moves.

Name: Aura Blast
Category: Special

Type: Fighting
Effect: Deals 33% recoil to the user.
Flags: Standard ones + Bullet if that's relevant
Description: I hope you hate Focus Blast

Name: Mercury Shot
Power: 70
Accuracy: 100%
PP: 10 (max 16)

Effect: 30% chance to poison the target.
Priority: 0
Flags (ex: Contact, Sound): /
Potential Pokémon With This Move: Lanturn, Registeel, Aggron, Blastoise, Magneton, Octillery, Weezing, Mantine, Lapras
Justification: Scald but it's not Scald. Basically we need a Steel special STAB, and this one is a great defensive tool as well as a good STAB. Do note that Magneton can use it to poison targets not immune to poison. And which kind of targets are immune to poison? That's right, Steel targets. Yeah that's cool.

Name: Raging Fury
Power: 130
Accuracy: 100%
PP: 10 (max 16)
Category: Physical
Type: Fire
Effect: Loses 30 BP after each use. Min 10 BP.
Priority: 0
Flags (ex: Contact, Sound): /
Potential Pokémon With This Move: Primeape, Magmar, Blaziken, Charizard, Typhlosion, Dodrio, Dragonite
Justification: Reverse Metronome move. It's a move you shouldn't use Choice Band with, unless you just wanna nuke once. We're lacking good Fire physical moves as Flare Blitz is gone, but this one is a fine replacement. And you can run Leftovers or type boosting item instead (please vote for the buff).

Name: Coward Hit
Power: 95
Accuracy: 80%
PP: 10 (max 16)
Category: Special
Type: Dark
Effect: If this move misses or fails, this Pokemon switches out.
Priority: 0
Flags (ex: Contact, Sound): /
Potential Pokémon With This Move: Cacturne, Crawdaunt, Magikarp, Dustox, Absol, Houndoom, Mightyena, Misdreavus, Murkrow, Sableye, Seviper, Shiftry, Sharpedo, Sneasel
Justification: Pivoting move but not quite but a bit... Yeah this one is weird yet interesting. I like the concept of a conditional switching move, and I know it was created in DLCmons. In this meta, U-turn doesn't exist so this move becomes interesting.

Name: Bullet Seed/Icicle Spear/Pin Missile
Power: 20
Accuracy
: 100%
PP: 48
Category: Physical
Type: Grass/Ice/Bug
Effect: Hits 2-5 times in a row.
Priority: 0
Flags (ex: Contact, Sound): /
Potential Pokémon With This Move: Current distrib
Justification: Boring yet needed.
Name: Torment Specs
Effect: Holder's Sp. Atk is 1.3x, but it cannot select the same move twice in a row.
Can Be Knocked Off: Yes
Ignored by Klutz: Yes
Fling Power & Effect: 30 BP, inflicts Torment
Justification: This item exists in Sylvemons. However, what makes it interesting here is that Choice Specs doesn't exist, and it would honestly be boring to just sub Specs back, so this time it's Torment. What's even more interesting is that Nasty Plot doesn't exist, Calm Mind isn't that common, and Tail Glow is extremely rare, so you can hardly use it with SpA setup.
Name: Fluffy
Effect: This Pokemon takes 1/2 damages from contact moves, 2x damage from Fire moves
Potential Pokémon With This Ability: Altaria, Delcatty, Flareon, Wigglytuff
Justification: Fluffy is interesting in early Gen 3.5 because a lot of good contact moves aren't here yet. Moreover, Earthquake still exists. It def should be fine but I can lower it to 3/4.

Name: Sunshine / Precipitate
Effect: On switch-in, the weather becomes Sunny Day / Rain Dance until the user switches out. (Basically Drought/Drizzle but it lasts like Desolate Land/Primordial Sea).
Potential Pokémon With This Ability: Sunflora, Bellossom, Ninetales, Solrock / Masquerain, Seaking, Wailord
Justification: Desolate Land and Primordial Sea? What the fuck is wrong with you Lysio??? The answer is: in perma weather metagames, perma weather that ends after the Pokemon switches out is balanced. Also, it adds cool counterplay to Tyranitar while not promoting any kind of weather team (no I don't want to deal with Drizzle or Drought in this meta please go away).

Subs are over! Thank you everyone for these subs, but now is the time for vetoes!

Item name: Choice Specs
Effect: Exactly the same as before
I consider that choice specs are totally logical in this game, and can really help special mons (we do not have Draco Meteor) to have their way in the meta. It's not really exciting but it's one of the few things I would export from gen 4 without any change here.
Yeah nah, I'd like to avoid having the exact same items back. Moreover, the powerlevel being lower, it's kinda worrying to have it there.

Item name: Fancy Necklace
Effect: If held by a Delcatty, its Atk, Def, SpA, Spedef and Speed are raised by 30%.
This item is fine on Delcatty, but for the love of God, please don't create weird ass Speed tiers such has 1.3x. I will ask you to either remove the Speed boost, or make it 1.5x. (There are been precedents of Game Freaks avoiding creating 1.3x Speed tiers with Protosynthesis and Quark Drive, so it's totally valid to boost the other stats by 1.3x and Speed by 1.5x.)

Burn in Gen 4 is 1/8 of HP every turn. And due to how Scald is well... broken in BW, I'd like to avoid having Scorching Sands here.

You have 24 hours to make the necessary changes!

Aight, every sub has been edited, it's time to open the voting! You can vote for everything! (Except Choice Specs but the sub has been removed anyway).

The system will be different this time: vote for as many subs you want in every category, but you can only self vote for the number of subs you have /2 (rounded up). For example, if you made 6 subs you can self vote 3 times. This time, the order has no importance at all, every vote will be one point.

Winners:

Name: Poison Darts
Type:

Category:

Power: 25
Accuracy: 100%
PP: 30
Priority: 0
Flags: Protect
Effect: Hits 2-5 times. The first hit has a 20% chance to poison.
Distribution: :beedrill::cacnea::cloyster::nidoran-f::nidoran-m::nincada::qwilfish::roselia::sandslash::spinarak:(Sparktus)
Justification: There isn't really any good physical Poison option post-split since Poison Jab doesn't exist anymore. The potential high-roll power of this move is counteracted by the fact that Poison is one of the worst offensive typings pre-Fairy.

Name: Confiscate
Effect: When the user is knocked out by an enemy's attack, removes the attacker's item (same way as Knock Off)
Justification: Item removal is a lot more niche in earlier gens, so an ability like this adds more methods to achieve it without being incredibly broken.

Distribution: :shuppet::banette::dusclops::sentret::furret::drowzee::hypno::smoochum::jynx::wigglytuff:

Distribution: :whismur::loudred::exploud:

Distribution: :venonat::shellder::cloyster::tangela::murkrow::pineco::forretress::zigzagoon::linoone::shelgon:

10% boost -> 20% boost

Name: Defog
Power: 60
Accuracy: 101%
PP: 20
Category: Special
Type: Flying
Effect: Doubles in power if a weather is active. Ends weather.
Priority: 0
Flags (ex: Contact, Sound): Wind
Potential Pokémon With This Move: anyone who had defog before
Justification: ttar hate
What's coming next? The council will distribute stuff a bit, and once we reach a rough consensus, we'll playtest a bit.

Typing:

Abilities: Confiscate
Added moves: Diamond Charge, Hyper Beam, Soul Drain
Description: Did you know Sableye doesn't get Hyper Beam? I sure didn't. Anyway, this expands on Sableye's incredibly small niche from ADV OU as a spinblocker that can't be touched by Claydol's Psychic by giving it actual stats.
Flavour: A larger cave gremlin creature with a hoard of gems that it's guarding enviously.

Fakemon Name: Brambela
Evolution to: Tangela :tangela:

PP: 15
Priority: 0
Flags: Protect
Effect: Type changes to match the user's primary typing.
Notes: Intended to be a signature for the whole line to compensate for the fact that its gimmick makes it lose STAB.
Description: Aims to actually make Color Change a functional ability by tying it to a mon that isn't hot garbage and also loses its STAB.
Flavour: big chameleon :)

Fakemon Name: Adnocana
Evolves From: Arbok
Weight: 31kg
Typing: Poison / Dragon
Abilities: Shed Skin / Intimidate
Added Moves: Dragon Dance, Poison Darts (it should have gotten this already)
Stats: 70 / 112 / 80 / 70 / 79 / 94 (505)
Description: Dragon Dance user with an interesting typing. Arbok has basically never been good, so I don't feel too worried about buffing it to... make it good. Also has, like, shockingly good coverage for some reason, at least by gen 3 standards. How does it make the earth quake?

Ability: Light Power
is a Pre-Contributor
Let me remind everyone that Hidden Abilities don’t exist in Gen 4.

Pokémon Name: Dusknoir :dusknoir:
Evolution to: Dusclops :dusclops:
Weight: 106.6 kg
Stats: 70 HP / 120 Atk / 130 Def / 60 SpA / 130 SpD / 35 Speed (545 BST)
Typing:

Abilities: Pressure / Trace (Dusclops keeps Pressure / Confiscate)
Added moves: (Compared to Gen 4 Dusclops) Earthquake, Guided Strike, Rock Slide, Rock Tomb
Description: Compared to official Dusknoir, this iteration focus more on increased Attack compared to Duskclops’, alongside a more proper HP increase. Confiscate is kept for Dusclops to keep the latter’s role as a wall. Rebooted Dusknoir is intended as a potent user of Soul Drain, with Trace allowing it to tech on Overcoat, Fluffy, opposing Confiscate, Magnet Pull (on opposing Magneton), Flash Fire, or even Huge Power / Pure Power.
Flavour: Large reaper-like ghost Pokémon capable of taking people’s soul away, and guide lost souls to the afterlife.

Pokémon Name: Masquaret :ogerpon-hearthflame:
Evolution to: Banette :banette:
Weight: 73.4 kg
Stats: 74 HP / 125 Atk / 75 Def / 103 SpA / 73 SpD / 95 Speed (545 BST)
Typing:

Abilities: Insomnia / Confiscate
Added moves: Ice Punch, Thunder Punch, Fire Punch, Hyper Voice, Defog, Brick Break
Description: Banette, even back in Gen 3, isn’t something noteworthy even with a high Attack due to mediocre stats at best all across the board. Masquaret aim for being a more efficient attacker with higher Speed and Special Attack, with access to Calm Mind and Torment Specs making it a powerful sweeper or wallbreaker. However, it is frail on both side, and the Torment Specs sets cannot afford to fight with Tyranitar and other Dark-type Pokémon due to Pursuit existing and lack of special Fighting coverage.
Flavour: Bedsheet ghost with sewn-on mask and the likes. It is said that although the mask will bring long-lasting fright if touched, anyone who have seen Masquaret’s true face ended up being maimed.

Pokémon Name: Elfowl :noctowl:
Evolution to: Delibird :delibird:
Weight: 51.3 kg
Stats: 75 HP / 85 Atk / 65 Def / 95 SpA / 65 SpD / 110 Speed (495 BST)
Typing:

Abilities: Insomnia / Thick Fat
Added moves: Cyclone Scatter (Defog is added back for Delibird since it already has it in official Gen 4)
Description: Delibird with actual stats and one massive Speed by Ice-type standards, and so that we get an OU viable Ice Pokémon in this Pet Mod. Although it’s Attack and Special Attack are considered as average, the combination of Hidden Power Fighting and Defog means that Tyranitar cannot afford to switch into if Sand Stream isn’t already set up. Thick Fat helps allieviate it’s Fire weakness and makes it effectively resistant to Ice.
Flavour: Overweight elf owl-like bird that help Delibird prepare for deliveries of all sort. Despite evolving from Delibird, they simply follow any unevolved Delibird like it were their leader, and only one Delibird will remain unevolved within a flock in the coldest location of any region.

Pokémon Name: Rushobell :cradily:
Evolution to: Weepinbell :weepinbell:
Weight: 73.4 kg
Stats: 80 HP / 65 Atk / 70 Def / 105 SpA / 70 SpD / 105 Speed (490 BST)
Typing:

Ability: Water Absorb
Added moves: Rock Slide, Rock Tomb, Diamond Charge, Starstorm, Mud Bomb
Description: Decently fast special attacker with Water-type immunity, with Starstrom used to add pressure to both walls and Rock-weak Pokémon alike. Mud Bomb serves as Ground-type coverage against opposing Rock-type Pokémon.
Flavour: Venus trap with star-shaped leaves that shines when the stars are visible in the nighty sky. Such leaves is said to shine the most when meteors are traveling within the Solar System.

Evolution name: Burnette (provisional)
Pre evo: :banette:
Weight: 11.5 kg
Stats: 84/125/75/103/73/70 (530 BST)
Typing:

Abilities: Insomnia / Consuming Rage*
Added moves: Flamethrower, Fire Blast, Raging Fury*, Superpower, Pursuit, Overheat, Ember, Fire Spin, Rage, Thrash (can also gain Outrage if we consider Gen 4 repart for Outrage and not how it was in Gen 3)
Physical apprearance: Banette, with longer arms dragging on the ground, its fly is open now, some flames come from inside of its body, especially its mouth. Its right eye is constantly burning and multiple parts of its body is black now, burned out.
Flavour: When a Banette cannot fulfill its vengeance (most of the time because its child passes away before it could do it), flames of frustration adds themselves to its resentment. Now burning with a consuming rage, it attacks anyone it meets, wanderinv in town at night. But this pokemon is not eternal : once all of its rage has been externalized, it is finally burned to the ground, becoming simple dust.
Custom:
Consuming Rage: This pokemon's anger and frustration gives it much more power but also leads it to its end.
Effect: This pokemon deals 30% more damage but loses 10% max HP at the end of each turn.

Competitive role: Still slow and frail as its pre evo, Burnette is a terrifying wallbreaker, able to OHKO Skarmory or Tyranitar with the good move. It won't last long tho, no matter what you do : constantly affected by Life Orb damages, even when it just arrived on the field or using a status move. Its lack of priority also makes it totally useless against offensive teams, having a huge amount of weaknesses added to its natural bulk.

Evolution name: Girafatak
Pre evo: :girafarig:
Weight: 50.0 kg
Stats: 80/90/75/110/75/95 (525 BST)
Typing:
(Diurnal) /
(Nocturnal)
Ability: Double Spirit*
Added moves: Brick Break, Hyper Voice, Rage, Thrash (maybe some other moves depending on what's pertinent for you in your mind).
Flavour: Bigger than its pre evo, it looks like Girafarig's sprite form Space World demo, with its second head being as important as the other. Now these two heads take the control alternatively, and can change who's in control. Most of the time, the "nice" head is in charge at day and the other control the body at night.
Custom:
Double Spirit: The controling head alternates depending on the situation.
Effect:
If user is Girafatak, it changes to its Nocturnal form before using physical attacks.
It changes to Diunal form before using special attacks.
-Diurnal form is the base form presented in the post.
-Nocturnal form is Dark/Normal type when Diurnal form is Normal/Psychic type.
-Every time this pokemon changes its form, it swaps its attack and special attack (like Power Trick doees with defense and attack)

Competitive role: The pseudo mixed attacker of the game: you basically use only your special attack when dealing damages and you have 3 stabs. It's quite fast and has a quite good SpA, but stands out from Zam with its access to Earthquake and Brick Break with a good offensive stat. It's also funny because you cannot survive a Crunch, but totally can tank a Pursuit when switching out.

Evolution Name: Putrewoodo
Pre-Evo: :sudowoodo:
Weight: 5kg
Stats: 80/120/120/60/70/50 (500)
Typing: Rock/Ghost
Abilities:
Clear Body/Rock Head
Added Moves: Soul Drain, Diamond Charge
Description: Bulky phys offensive mon, with huge physdef, and great phys attack which when combined with Soul Drain, lets it be a strong physical attacker due to it healing quite a bit while attacking, Clear Body lets it deal with Intimidate mons while Rock Head makes it inmune to the recoil from Diamond Charge, also has useful coverage in the elemental punches and EQ, and access to Taunt for utility, balanced out by a weak SpDef and weak defensive type, making it weak to powerful physical attacking moves like Ground and Dark
Flavor: Based on dead trees and eroding rocks, takes a pale, more rubble-like color, will probably draw if it wins

Evolution Name: Swolrizon
Pre-Evo: :swalot:
Weight: 999kg
Stats: 110/80/85/80/80/60 (490)
Typing:
Poison/Dark
Abilities:
Absorption / Sticky Hold
Absorption: If hit by a contact move, traps the user of the move for 3 turns
Added Moves: Rapid Spin
Description: Bulky spinner, wall and wish passer, has an amazing defensive type, and has the ability to trap physical attackers and spinners with Absorption, and spread status, can use Yawn or Toxic, Protect, and Encore as good utility options, balanced by kinda weak defenses for a bulky mon, as well as it being weak to EQ
Flavor: Based on black holes specifically their borders called event horizon, which fits due to Swalot whole thing being eating things, will probably draw if it wins

Description: Deoxys-Speed 2 :letsgoooo: Now with enough speed to be useful as a lead in the tier and enough bulk to not just die in front of everything, appart from this SD sets sounds fun with poison darts, waterfall and explosion.
Flavor: Based in the beta evolution from pokemon gold, alsothe static ability was change due to the electric mark it has in the front.

:murkrow:

Huginkrow
Dark/Psychic
Ability: Levitate / Overcoat
Evolves from Murkrow
Design and inspiration: Imagine a bit Murkrow, with an eyeband and a spear. It's inspired from Odin's crows.
Stats:
HP: 70
Atk: 105
Def: 72
SpA: 105
SpD: 72
Spe: 101

Additional Movepool: Guided Strike, Night Slash, Icicle Spear, Odin's Wrath (Dark, 75 BP, Photon Geyser clone without the Mold Breaker effect)

Competitive role: Funny mixed breaker

Gyrobloom
Grass/Steel
Ability: Levitate
Evolves from Skiploom by trade while holding a Metal Coat
Design: based off a drone, Skiploom's flower petals extend out as sharp helicopter blades while the middle blooms into a yellow lotus flower, the body turns blue but a paler shade than Jumpluff and the ears and legs become more aerodynamically positioned towards the back.

Stats:
Hp: 65 Atk: 85
Def: 100 Spdef: 80
Spatk: 35 Spe: 95 Total: 460

Additional Movepool:
Bullet Seed, Defog, Steel Wing, Rapid Spin, Thunder Wave, Iron Defense.

Competitive role: having to stick to Jumpluff's bst means it really isn't great either offensively or defensively, but it will be the fastest sleep powder user aside from its counterpart and with a much more potent typing and the ability to deal non-negligible damage with 85 attack and swords dance (albeit it is by no means a sweeper given its lack of coverage to hit steels or fires for any real damage)
Its natural immunity to sand and spikes makes its subseed sets quite threatening although its defenses are still very unimpressive especially if it invests in speed. It gains access to spin but compensates for its natural sustainability by struggling to hit Gengar.

--- --- --- --- ---

Similash
Normal/Fighting
Ability: Keen Eye / Pickup
Evolves from Aipom by leveling up with a Cool condition of 170 or higher. (Same threshold as Feebas)
Design: It's bigger with a more reddish color of fur, its tail a lot longer, it can hold its tail and throw it like a whip or a lasso. The tail hand is now clawed.
Stats:
Hp: 85 Atk: 110
Def: 55 Spdef: 55
Spatk: 60 Spe: 115 Total: 480

Signature Move: Lasso Grab
Fighting | Physical | 80 BP | 90 Acc | 10(16) PP
Inflicts partial trapping
(in gen 4 this is only 2-5 turns with 1/16th chip)

Additional Movepool: Bind, Knock Off

Description: Delibird with actual stats and one massive Speed by Ice-type standards, and so that we get an OU viable Ice Pokémon in this Pet Mod. Although it’s Special Attack is considered as average, the combination of Hidden Power Fighting and Defog means that Tyranitar cannot afford to switch into if Sand Stream isn’t already set up.
Well... in this meta, 135 Speed is incredibly scary, as you basically outspeed every relevant mon, and Sugar Bag is only one turn. You should def lower the Speed by a lot to be honest.

Evolution Name: Swolrizon
Pre-Evo: :swalot:
Weight: 999kg
Stats: 110/80/85/80/80/60 (490)
Typing:
Poison/Dark
Abilities:
Absorption / Sticky Hold
Absorption: If hit by a contact move, traps the user of the move for 3 turns
Added Moves: Recover, Wish, Rapid Spin
Description: Bulky spinner, wall and wish passer, has an amazing defensive type, and has the ability to trap physical attackers and spinners with Absorption, and spread status, can use Yawn or Toxic, Protect, and Encore as good utility options, balanced by kinda weak defenses for a bulky mon, as well as it being weak to EQ
Flavor: Based on black holes specifically their borders called event horizon, which fits due to Swalot whole thing being eating things, will probably draw if it wins
Excellent ability, great typing, great bulk, AND Recover? Yeah nah this is literally fatter Gastrodon with a way better typing, so you gotta nerf it oneway or the other. You could for example remove Recover, as it's way too good on this one (remember, 32 PP Recover).

You have 24 hours to adjust everything!
