[SET COMMENTS]
Thanks to Iron Hands's high Attack and Assault Vest-boosted bulk, it is able to take on most Pokemon in the tier one-on-one while also acting as a check to Iron Bundle, Chien-Pao, and Kingambit. Close Combat provides a consistent form of damage, but Drain Punch is also used to provide recovery to consistently check threats. Earthquake lets Iron Hands OHKO Miraidon and Clodsire and 2HKO Skeledirge on the switch in. The given EV spread lets Iron Hands outspeed uninvested Corviknight and Skeledirge. Tera Water provides Iron Hands with Ice-, Fire-, and Water-type resistances against Chien-Pao, Iron Bundle, Chi-Yu, and Walking Wake while making Fairy-type attacks from Miraidon, Iron Valiant, and Flutter Mane neutral; furthermore, it provides Iron Hands with a neutrality to Great Tusk's Headlong Rush and Earthquake. Tera Fairy can be run instead to gain an immunity to Miraidon and Walking Wake's Draco Meteor and a resistance to Koraidon's Fighting-type STAB moves. Miraidon is a fantastic partner for Iron Hands, as it sets Electric Terrain; this gives Iron Hands much better wallbreaking capabilities. Furthermore, Iron Hands threatens all of Miraidon's checks, including Iron Treads, Ting-Lu, and Clodsire, and Miraidon can pivot it in. Corviknight is a good partner thanks to its Ground immunity letting it pivot into Great Tusk. Iron Bundle is another great partner for being able to check offensive Pokemon that can overwhelm Iron Hands while also pivoting Iron Hands in with U-turn. Great Tusk pairs well with Iron Hands as well, since it checks opposing Great Tusk, acts as a form of entry hazard removal, and checks Koraidon. Although Iron Hands can check some special attackers, its lack of consistent recovery means that it is not a reliable check in longer games; therefore, partners such as Clodsire and Iron Treads work to check Miraidon, Iron Bundle, and Flutter Mane. Gothitelle is another good partner for being able to trap and eliminate Great Tusk for Iron Hands.
