    It's certainly a simple interaction, but not a very obvious one! Still, it's good to know for playing vs webs, for instance it means that Encoring a setup move with your booster Val can still work depending on the circumstances.

    What's weird is that (at least on PS!) booster activation and hazard interaction don't happen in a fixed order, so sometimes a paradox mon will hit the webs first and then get a dud boost, while at other times the booster will activate first, give a +spe boost to the user and *then* the webs...

    IDK how well you can break in trick room with 90 BP stabs, even off of 145 SpA the unboosted neutral hits don't look like they're going to blow stuff out of the water. To me it looks like it just makes no sense in the tier.

    A similar dynamic to Bax itself dropping to UU due to Mega Weavile being in the tier, though I think the buffs are helping it a bit by adding some aspects to its game on top of its speed and power after setup (as mentioned elsewhere, Knock Off is huge early on into fatmons).
