Choice Band Dragonite is a monster capable of breaking through the sturdiest of walls with its high power STAB moves Dragon Ascent and Glaive Rush. Extreme Speed lets you revenge kill faster Pokémon like Weavile and Iron Valiant and is capable of sweeping highly damaged teams. Fire Punch is your coverage to hit Steel types such as Kingambit and Iron Treads. Your choice of Tera is between your STABs and bolstering your Extreme Speed's damage with Tera Normal; the benefits of Tera Flying or Dragon is that it allows you to break through Pokemon like non-Tera Ting-Lu, Avalugg, and Dondozo. The EVs let you outspeed fully invested base 50 Pokémon such as Iron Hands with maximized attack and the rest thrown into HP to increase overall bulk. Dragonite's reliance on Dragon Ascent and Glaive Rush result in it being heavily weakened defensively so caution is advised. Pivots that enable entry of Dragonite into play such as Toxapex and Corviknight are great partners. Offensively, Dragonite partners well with strong special attackers such as Iron Valiant and Sandy Shocks to help break past each other's walls.
