Description: Physical wall and counter-offense wincon. It'd accomplish defeaing the team even better if it was Water/Ground, but it'd probably be broken and wouldn't really fit the flavor at that point.

Click the sprites for the Pokepaste!
Here's another Slowtwin+Breaker core! This time, the team features two of the strongest breakers in the OU metagame: Urshifu and Magearna. Alongside them are defensive staples Toxapex, Mandibuzz and Scarf Landorus.

Remember, from now on, we are submitting 2-Pokemon cores rather than a single Pokemon. Unlike with the single Pokemon, there's no need for a specific sequence to beat the team. Rather, your submitted cores only need to pressure the entire team or be unable to be pressured by the team, just like in normal BTT threads.

Submissions will last until Friday, December 25. Have fun!

Is this WIP ? Because we switched to 2 Pokemon cores. I still think it looks very good, but could you modify it to include a second Pokemon ? Then it would be great

252 Atk Landorus-Therian Earthquake vs. 252 HP / 4 Def Camerupt: 302-356 (96.1 - 113.3%) -- 75% chance to OHKO
252 Atk Choice Band Urshifu Sucker Punch vs. 252 HP / 4 Def Camerupt: 147-174 (46.8 - 55.4%) -- 69.5% chance to 2HKO
252+ Atk Choice Band Camerupt Flare Blitz vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Urshifu: 268-316 (78.5 - 92.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

I'm not sure I'm seeing what breaks the team, sorry. It has a high chance of getting bodied by the lead, and it is an All Out Attacker which can't beat Sucker Punch.

The name of the game is getting Humblebee to get a QD Off relatively safely, So our goal is to get humblebee in on either Toxapex, Mandibuzz, Slowking, Urshifu or get lando to lock itself into earthquake. Another wincon is to get Humblebee in after magearna uses fleur cannon to ko claytypus.

Lando:
+1 252 SpA Life Orb Mew Moonblast vs. 8 HP / 0 SpD Landorus-Therian: 343-406 (106.8 - 126.4%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Toxapex:
+1 252 SpA Life Orb Mew Psychic vs. 248 HP / 8 SpD Toxapex: 265-315 (87.4 - 103.9%) -- 93.8% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock
Kills with rocks, but is able to 2HKO anyway and isn't threatened by pex at all.

Magearna:
If it's at +1 spdef, it is able to QD again to be able to live Specs Boosted Fleur Cannon's:
252+ SpA Choice Specs Magearna Fleur Cannon vs. +2 0 HP / 0 SpD Mew: 192-226 (63.7 - 75%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Mandibuzz:
lol

Slowking:
Quiver Dance Bait

Urshifu:
Outspeeds and ohkos with moonblast even without boosts

252 Atk Landorus-Therian Earthquake vs. 252 HP / 4 Def Camerupt: 302-356 (96.1 - 113.3%) -- 75% chance to OHKO
252 Atk Choice Band Urshifu Sucker Punch vs. 252 HP / 4 Def Camerupt: 147-174 (46.8 - 55.4%) -- 69.5% chance to 2HKO
252+ Atk Choice Band Camerupt Flare Blitz vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Urshifu: 268-316 (78.5 - 92.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Camerupt has poor bulk, but Kyoguma has a good defense. It can punish physical attackers (even sucker punch) with flame body. I don't know if it's enough to put pressure on the whole opposing team, but at least on the core volt-turn and on Toxapex, even on Mandibuzz.

I think his point was that your pokemon sadly doesn't beat landorus-t, since it gets ohkoed by it.

I think beating this team offensively with a single pokemon is a very hard task, maybe impossible.
My best attempt so far has been a fast fire/electric mon with electro ball/fire blast/nasty plot and endure+weak armor to be able to know if urshifu is sucker punching or not, with air balloon as well, to guarantee a nasty plot off on lando.
But then figured out that lost to lead slowking-g with future sight. :psycry:

I definitely agree with switching over to cores instead of a single mon.

I used your Fakemon's stats, my dude. Your offenses aren't enough to KO your opponent before it KO's you, sorry.

Landorus switches in. KOes with Earthquake.

Slowking lives any hit and OHKOes with Scald.

Really Slowking can switch in on 1 hit, scout what move you locked into, then pivot to the appropriate switchin.

You definitely need a partner to patch up This mon's usability. It also sucks that it's slower than all of the offensive Pokémon (even Magearna), so maybe a slight redesign would do wonders.

Basically, Mollaserum tanks most of the heavy hits while Oxidibis wears down the entire team with Toxic.
Mollaserum can switch into Magearna, Urshifu, Toxapex, and Mandibuzz, Teleport out on Toxapex, Mandibuzz, and Slowking, and hard-switch-out on Landorus. Earth Power can pressure Toxapex, and Ice Beam can snipe Mandibuzz or Landorus-T.
Oxidibis can switch in on Landorus, Toxapex, Slowking, and Mandibuzz. It can Flip Turn out on Magearna and hard-switch-out on Urshifu. Toxic hits every Pokemon, thanks to Corrosion, Defog helps Mollasserum switch in easier if Landorus-T sets up rocks , and Flip Turn lets it get some chip on Magearna.

Name: Encabler
Type: Electric/Steel
Stats BST 535 // HP 82 / Att 102 / Def 85 / SpA 75 / SpD 106 / Spe 85
Ability: Plus, Minus, Bulletproof
Moves: Zing Zap, Knock Off, Heat Crash, Rapid Spin, Earthquake, Flame Charge, Heavy Slam, High Horsepower, Fire Lash, Charge, Eerie Impulse, Magnetic Flux, Stone Edge, Triple Axel
Description: Specially Defensive Physical Attacker. Weight should be enough to guarantee 120BP heat crash against Magearna. Takes the lessens learned from Magnezone. Herds of Encabler appear from a distance as a long line of electricity pylons.

Encabler @ Choice Band
Calm Nature
Ability: Bulletproof
EVs: 252 Atk / 176 SpD / 80 Spe
- Zing Zap
- Rapid Spin
- Knock Off
- Heat Crash

Jadice uses Freeze Dry to take on the lead Lando-T and Draining Kiss for Urshifu - it can survive a Stone Edge thanks to that chunky Def, Queenly Majesty bypasses Sucker Punch priority, and outstpeeds and regains all of its hit points. Lando-T has to make a call between hard switching, Stealth Rock and die, or Stone Edge and die. Hard Switch to Magearna is inadvisable due to Earth Power, it's risking giving a 134 SpA opponent Choice Specs if it wrongly predicts the switch.

Both Toxapex and Mandibuzz are 2HKO'd and outspeed, and Freeze Dry+Volt Switch leaves Slowking in reach of 1HKO from Encabler. Choice Band Encabler outspeeds Magearna, has Immunity to Aura Sphere, Specs Fleur Cannon can't 50% on a high roll, and packs a Band so ideally wouldn't want to trick either without massively hurting itself, while Heat Crash has an excellent chance to OHKO. Zing Zap lets it also tag both Mandibuzz Toxapex with a 2HKO. Encabler grabs a 2HKO on Slowking.

If Lando-T is not lead, or is Hard-switched, this can cause a few difficulties due to the speed, intimidation, and OHKO's it hands out to Encabler.

Ability: Battle Armor / Shed Skin | Anger Point (HA)
Stats: 75 / 115 / 130 / 70 / 85 / 55 | BST: 530
Moves: *Gets universal TMs
Physical: Power Whip, Wood Hammer, Gunk Shot, Poison Fang, Earthquake, Stone Edge, Rock Slide, Crunch, Power Trip, Wrap
Special: Sludge Bomb, Giga Drain, Energy Ball
Status: Toxic, Glare, Leech Seed, Synthesis, Coil, Taunt
Design
: A large wooden snake, covered in green and purple vines.
Description: With a great defensive typing, critical hit immunity, and the ability to absorb Toxic Spikes, this thing is a massive thorn in the side of this team. It easily walls the entire team outside of Slowking's Future Sight, and can potentially stop Toxapex from using Haze with Taunt. It has a pretty great movepool, but it has 4MSS. The only real threat to a set of Taunt / Coil / Synthesis / Power Whip is getting Tricked by Magearna.

Status: Calm Mind, Agility, Roost, Defog, Magnet Rise, Heal Bell
Design: Imagine a chicken that looks like the type combo.
Description: Pretty much a Fairy/Electric type with a Gen 1 Normal-type movepool. Thunderbolt threatens the whole team except Landorus, who doesn't like switching in that much thanks to Ice Beam.
Oakanda @ Black Sludge
Ability: Battle Armor
248 HP / 212 Atk / 4 Def / 44 SpD, Impish nature
- Power Whip
- Coil
- Taunt / Substitute
- Synthesis
This set can wall Urshifu and Magearna, OHKO Slowking, and set up on Mandibuzz and Toxapex. If you run Taunt the only threat is Trick from Magearna, but you can 6-0 the team provided you sac something else to Trick. If you run Substitute you can potentially keep Trick at bay (not 1v1 vs. Mag), but you will have to switch out to Amphen on Toxapex.
  • 212 Atk Oakanda Power Whip vs. 248 HP / 28 Def Slowking: 392-464 (99.7 - 118%) -- 93.8% chance to OHKO
  • 252 Atk Choice Band Urshifu Wicked Blow vs. 248 HP / 4+ Def Vileplume: 142-168 (40.2 - 47.5%) -- 2% chance to 2HKO after Stealth Rock and Black Sludge recovery
  • 252+ SpA Choice Specs Magearna Fleur Cannon vs. 248 HP / 44 SpD Vileplume: 190-224 (53.8 - 63.4%) -- very small chance to 2HKO after Stealth Rock and Black Sludge recovery ( the calc doesn't do this correctly )
  • 252 Atk Landorus-Therian Earthquake vs. 248 HP / 4+ Def Vileplume: 129-153 (36.5 - 43.3%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Stealth Rock and Black Sludge recovery
Amphen @ Life Orb
Ability: Pastel Veil
4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe, Timid nature
- Thunderbolt
- Ice Beam
- Substitute
- Recover
This set can get a kill every time it comes in, and get a free switch on a turn that Toxapex is forced to Haze. Thunderbolt 2HKOs Magearna, Slowking, Toxapex, Mandibuzz, and Urshifu, all of whom you outspeed, while Ice Beam OHKOs Landorus. Substitute eases prediction and allows you to deal with Magearna's Fleur Cannon in conjunction with Recover. U-turn from Landorus-T won't break it, either. You can always flee to Oakanda if you face a bad situation.
  • Calcs later

So Nectrance does a pretty good job walling or threatening a pretty good portion of the given team, mainly getting threatened by Toxapex and Magearna, in which case it pivots out of into Batravolt. There, you can set up Nasty Plot. The EVs and stats specifically help it live two Magearna Fleur Cannons considering drops while still outspeeding Urshifu. You also live one of Landorus-T Stone Edge if worst comes to worst and the Landorus is not only at full after taking no Rocky Helmet chip, but also takes less than 4 hits (4 hits is a roll in your favor + 3 hits plus Rocky Helmet Rough Skin guarantees the kill). Nectrance also takes the Future Sight into Banded Urshifu combo decently, albeit not perfectly.

Looks good so far. I know this is still WIP, but a larger movepool for both of these Fakemon would be appreciated, just so people have options when using these Fakemon.

If your worried about Magearna's Trick, you can put a little more into Speed so you can Taunt before it Tricks.

You also live one of Landorus-T Stone Edge if worst comes to worst and the Landorus is not only at full, but Water Shuriken also doesn't hit enough times (3 hits does 84-100.6% so catching a U-Turn with Rough Skin helps). Nectrance also takes the Future Sight into Banded Urshifu combo decently, albeit not perfectly. Amnesia helps it take Future Sight into Fleur Cannon a whole lot better; I highly doubt it'd be useful otherwise, especially with no attacking moves, but that's the fun of counterteaming.
Sorry if you didn't see, but your sets must actually be viable, as stated in the rewritten rules. This mostly applies to Amnesia on Nectrance and Splash Plate on Batravolt, so there isn't a lot you have to change (besides, I don't think Splash Plate exists in Gen 8).

Explanation:
Here's a list of all the moves in the team that hit Hartold for at least neutral damage:
CC (Urshifu)
AS (Mag)
Scald (Slowking)
Before you say EQ, Hartold has levitate as well.
The plan is get a sub up, and kill things. Urshifu 2HKOs 94.9% of the time, but Moonblast OHKOs. Mag... 3HKOs. But Hartold knows Recover.
I can't tell if this is WIP, but you need two Pokemon.
