[SET COMMENTS]
Poison Heal Xerneas is a brutal wincon that takes advantage of its bulk, status immunity, passive recovery, and immunity to Core Enforcer to come in repeatedly against passive foes and Dragon-types like Giratina, Zekrom, and Zygarde-C. It can set up with Quiver Dance on them and erodes defensive team structures over the course of the game. Xerneas uses Thunder Cage as a coverage move against Ho-Oh and Steel-types. It forces foes to use recovery moves more often, which gives Xerneas free Poison Heal recovery and opportunities to boost further with Quiver Dance or lay down Spikes. Leech Seed increases Xerneas' longevity further, improves its matchup against Imposter Chansey, and gives it another tool for chipping its checks. Strength Sap is another option to bolster Xerneas's recovery that also improves its matchup against Ho-Oh and Steel-types with Anchor Shot. It also makes Xerneas an effective check to physical attackers like Groudon and Kyurem-Black, particularly with a Timid nature to ensure it outspeeds them. Lava Plume is a stronger option against Steel-types and another source of passive damage. With a burn, Xerneas can defeat some Anchor Shot users like Zamazenta-C and Melmetal one-on-one. Poison Heal Regigigas is a classic teammate for Xerneas, as Xerneas can switch in reliably against Core Enforcer users like Giratina that force out Regigigas, and the pair can work in tandem to dismantle their Steel-type checks. Xerneas is often forced out by Eternatus and Zamazenta-C; Ho-Oh or defensive Groudon can switch into those two and retake momentum.

item: Heavy-Duty Boots
ability: Pixilate
nature: Timid

[SET COMMENTS]
Xerneas uses Pixilate to smash through walls with Boomburst and to support its team with an unblockable Rapid Spin. Strength Sap keeps Xerneas healthy to clear hazards throughout the game, healing Xerneas fully against common checks like Ho-Oh and Zamazenta-C. Xerneas's final moveslot is highly versatile. Volt Switch is a strong option, used to keep up momentum against incoming special walls and to chip Ho-Oh and Celesteela. With 252 Atk EVs and a Naive nature, Xerneas can use V-Create to break past weakened Steel-types. Nuzzle cripples some of Xerneas's typical switch-ins, namely Imposter Chansey, Eternatus, and Zamazenta-C. Heavy-Duty Boots is usually the item of choice on this set to maximize Xerneas's opportunities to remove entry hazards, but Pixie Plate is a valid alternative to improve its damage output and more easily break past Zamazenta-C. Wallbreakers that are susceptible to hazards, like Kyurem-B or Blacephalon, benefit from Xerneas keeping the field clear and appreciate the free opportunities that Xerneas grants them via Volt Switch or by forcing the use of recovery moves. Zekrom has strong defensive synergy with Xerneas, as it can come in safely on Ho-Oh, Steel-type moves and paralysis-inducing moves that scare out Xerneas. In exchange, Xerneas checks Dragon-types and Groudon, which give Zekrom trouble. Special walls such as Ice Scales Eternatus or Magic Bounce Ho-Oh can counter Imposter Chansey if it switches in against Xerneas and minimize recovery from Strength Sap.

-i'd reword the tcage sentence - "Thunder Cage is used as coverage against Ho-Oh and Steel-types, with the residual damage forcing these to spam Recover and thus giving Xerneas free recovery and chances to set up or set hazards." or something similar.
-leech seed sentences can be cut down- "Leech Seed further increases Xerneas's survivability and passive damage output whilst also improving it's ability to handle Imposter users."
-plume sentences can be cut down - "Lava Plume can be used to chip down checks via burn and allows Xerneas to 1v1 many Steel-types like Melmetal and Zamazenta-C."
-i would include something about improofing - namely that you 1v1 eviolite but get hardstopped by tox orb. probably something along the lines of "Xerneas is able to 1v1 Eviolite Imposter Chansey if at high HP due to Thunder Cage's chip, though Toxic Orb Imposter users will almost always win. Teammates like Ice Scales Zamazenta-C can be used as these can trap and PP stall poisoned Imposter users."

-most likely reword the v-create bit - "V-create with 252 Attack EVs and a Naive nature can be used to help break past weakened Steel-types, and Nuzzle...". wouldn't use "blow up" as (in my mind at least) it isn't an instant delete button against most steels (solg/zama only take 60 min, and force you out with anchor or just spam recover)

sorry for the delay, qc 1/2

Strength Sap is an alternative to beat all Anchor Shot User and Ho-Oh. Nature Timid is an alternative to be sure to out speed (at +0 on speed) all "big" legendaries with 90-99 Speed Base Stat like Ho-Oh, Groudon, Kyurem-Black etc. Poison Heal Regigigas is a classic teammate for Xerneas, as Xerneas can switch in reliably against Core Enforcer users like Giratina that force out Regigigas, and the pair can work in tandem to dismantle their Steel-type checks. Nuzzle cripples some of Xerneas' typical switch-ins, namely Imposter Chansey, Eternatus, and Zamazenta-C. Heavy-Duty Boots is the best item for this Xerneas, to guarantee Xerneas to Spin in every situation, Pixie Plate can be better in an Offense team to create more pressure and Metronome is a last option to transform Xerneas to a Wallbreaker. Wallbreakers that are susceptible to hazards, like Kyurem-B or Blacephalon, benefit from Xerneas keeping the field clear and appreciate the free opportunities that Xerneas grants them via Volt Switch or by forcing the use of recovery moves.
