I think he gains a head upon evolving.
Do you think that it would also gain 2 heads upon cutting off a head of his like a "real" hydra?

I think it evolves by being headchopped.
Also, you know Ghetsis lost his eye canonically by mistreating his hydreigon, as it is the only mon in B&W or B&W2 that is hardcoded to have minimum friendship (forgot which).

Hydreigon is not the greatest pokemon ever made as that honor goes to shuckle. But Hydreigon does have a pretty cool design.
