UU Snake Draft IV - Week 3

Welcome to the third week of UUSD! Please familiarize yourself with the following:

• Follow all rules listed here.
• Schedule via Smogon VMs. It's easier for me to make decisions for activity calls when I can actually see what went down with scheduling.
• If you are unable to schedule with your opponent, please let your managers know ASAP so they can communicate that to me or the other team's managers for a potential substitute.
• Substitutions may be made after a week has started. When making a substitution, please tag myself, the managers of the opposing team, and all of the players affected by the substitute to ensure that everyone is made aware. Players who have already played in the week or were subbed out in the same week cannot be subbed back in.
• If a match remains incomplete by the time of the deadline, it will be subject to an activity call.
• Replays are mandatory. Not only are they useful for confirming wins, they contribute to usage stats and allow the people who couldn't watch the games live to watch them later.

keeping the streak up, some cool sv matchups this week. it would be cool to see others post predictions in this thread as well as they are pretty interesting to read imo!


SV: Mimilucha vs. Dr. Phd. BJ - mimilucha has much more experience playing in these things than bj does, and he also just has the better support pool so the chance of him bringing something bad is unlikely. not much to say here but i think its hard for me to see it going the other way given bjs game last week.
SV: justdrew vs. udongirl - the battle of the heat, have absolutely zero idea where this matchup could go since both are high variance players i feel who dont try to go with the standard tried and true cores and formulate gameplans around them, but try to add their own spark via creative building and going from there. the udongirl theorem is definitely more viable in sv than it is in ss, so i can see this being slightly favoured towards her, but drew should be able to also put up an admirable performance. so its about as 50/50 as it gets, love pairings like these.
SV: Rasche vs. ninjadog - my confidence in ninjadog is pretty high, and i still dont really know much about rasche, sorry.
SV: 691 vs. Corperate n - after some shakey games in ss, vtubers management have decided to pivot 691 to SV4 to replace liz who has also not been performing the best. i'm a fan of 691, but i don't really know if he has the aptitude for current sv since he hasnt played much of it to my knowledge outside of uupl im guessing. this isnt going to be a problem as he has pretty knowledgeable teammates in umbry, punny and lyssa but it has to translate in the game for it to really matter so i'm going to bold corp, who has played pretty decent. not to say that this will be a stomp, it probably wont be, but the goat will need to show up big i think. rooting for him though, as always.

overall, not really sure how this series will go since the sv playing skills are pretty close like i indicated so it'll most likely come down to just the builds, where i think the vtubers have the prims edged out by a lot.

SV : gum vs. passion - yeah, i'm bolding against passion... because gum is the goat. realistically this seems like a 40/60 type game favouring passion because of the experience gap but gum is currently 5-2 in ndpl iv playing nduu so it must transfer (proof: he is 2-0 rn :fire:).

SS: kythr vs. Attribute - builds a ton, plays a ton, has an incredible track record for someone who started playing this tier not even a year ago.
ORAS: Lyssa vs. Scalescale - good player, didnt think shed be the truth in oras initially but i have enjoyed watching her games.
SM: pdt vs. lax - :emoji_56: i want to see you at least drop to 270 seconds pdt
