i am a shockbro myself, but how the fuck did sandy shocks have higher usage than THUNDUROUS THERIAN?!?!?!?!!?!

-Setting up hazards
-Actually has really good qualities being part of the hazards metagame like being a special attacker for Glimmora and Great Tusk, being electric for Samurott-H and Corviknight, and having Earthpower for Gholdango
-Bulk it very noticeably larger
-Has Protosynthesis and it fast enough to outspeed unboosted metagame

usage is not viability, my friend. It is still viable for OU, just not used enough to be OU.

How are people still saying Treads should be in UU, home made it a lot better since it can 1v1 the common heatwaveless Zapdos and spin on it which Tusk cannot do for example. It’s better speed tier also helps it find a niche on HO as a decent spinner as well as still carrying the utility of knock off that Tusk has. The time for Treads slander has to stop, it is no longer the OU equivalent of UU holding on to Forretress.

Heat wave had around 30%ish usage at high ladder iirc last month, which is stlll common enough to be a threat for Treads to fear. Its only real niche worth acknowledging is on those HO teams as a lead, but even then it still isn't good enough tp be above the usage cut off to remain OU.
