Tournament format & information
The purpose of this tournament is to propose a competitive and entertaining premier league to four previous unofficial metagames, AG, 1v1, NFE and ZU and gather these communities.
This tournament will be structured in a premier league format. The tier lineup is composed of four different tiers, AG, 1v1, NFE & ZU which will be played in a Bo1 twice per matchup except for 1v1 where it's a bo5 for a total of 16 games played per confrontation (2 AG, 2 ZU, 2 NFE, 10 1v1). There will be six different teams composed of at least 10 players, 8 starters and 2 subs. Each week, a team will face another one during the first five weeks. At the end of five weeks, the three teams that have the most points will qualify for playoffs. The first place team is directly seeded into the final, the second and third place teams will have to battle during one week to determine the other finalist. After that, the final can take place. If there is no tiebreak, the tournament lasts at least seven weeks after the teams are formed.
When a team wins the week (at least 5 battles won on 8), they receive 2 points. 1 point if tie (4-4) and 0 if they lose. These points will determine which teams will reach the playoffs. If there is a tie, we will look at battle difference (only for the qualification in playoff). In case of further ties (or if the battle difference is still identical), a best of three will be organised between the two teams and they will receive an extension. Each team will choose one tier and the last one will be decided randomly. Furthermore, every replay needs to be saved. Otherwise, battles won't count unless the opponent agrees on the result.
The manager & assistant managers signups will be open for one week and will close on the 5th April. After that, the player signups will be open for ten days until the 15th April. If the managers' schedule allows it, the auction will take place on the weekend following the 15th April which would mean that week 1 would start the 19th April. Managers need to sign up with an assistant manager. The manager and their assistant are able to purchase themselves for 15,000 per person. The budget of auctions is fixed at 100,000 for a minimum of 10 players. The auction will take place in a groupchat and will be linked in the four different rooms.
After auctions, managers are allowed to trade if the trade takes place before week 1. They must both inform the hosts of the trade for this to be allowed. Managers are allowed to pick up a player from the player pool before week 3 if one of their player leave/is inactive during that time. Once again, they must inform the hosts.
