Hi everyone! This was a thing back in BW2 and I thought this might be something for the community to take part in instead being absolutely toxic, something to distract everyone. This was stopped back in BW2 being it was crapping up ladder stats, but I seriously doubt anyone really cares about ladder stats these days anyways. Basically, what these challenges are going to be is storming the ladder, but with a twist - you will have obey a specific condition that I place on your teambuilding. If you noticed the title, these conditions will be designed to be very difficult, designed to challenge you in both teambuilding and your battling skills. I'm planning to have a new one every single week, depending on how busy I am and how bothered I can be to put up a new thread, but basically you will attempt to get the highest ladder ranking when following the weekly condition. These constraints may vary in difficulty week in week out, but I will make sure no week is a breeze. Some weeks it may be comparatively easy, while some weeks it will be downright insane. There will also be wildcards, which could potentially make your life a little bit easier, but these won't be in every week! This is essentially "Hard mode" or "Lunatic+ mode" of our Ubers forum. It may be slightly easier than you may expect given the horrendously low skill level of our ladder.
Without further ado, we'll start week 1!
Instructions:
- Create a fresh alt that has not battled at all
- Record your highest ladder ranking - we'll be using your Elo ranking for simplicity.
- Record your replays and post them along with your ranking
- Post your team along with your ladder ranking so I can make sure that you've stuck to the condition
- Ask any questions in this thread
- Feel free to discuss any potential strategies in this thread too
- This should go without saying, but please don't cheat. There is literally no benefit to doing so since there is no prize for winning, apart from a tiny boost to your e-peen. This challenge is purely for fun, and you'll just be cheating yourself out of your own fun if you do it. That said, you'll be DQ'd from the current and any future challenges in this thread if you are caught doing it.
This week's challenge: You must use the item Assault Vest on all of your Pokemon

Week 2 challenge:
- Only Pokemon from gen 1 and 2
- Wildcard: None
- Winner: Lord Outrage
Week 3 challenge:
- Can only use lower attacking stat of all Pokemon, Pokes with equivalent attacking stats are banned
- Wildcards:
-- One Pokemon can either use the higher attacking stat or have equivalent attacking stats, provided it doesn't use a STAB move
-- Pokemon with both attacking stats <100 are exempt from the above

Week 4 challenge:
- No attacking moves
- Wildcards:
-- One Pokemon can use one attacking move
-- Rapid Spin/D-tail/Circle Throw are allowed on all Pokemon, provided there's no STAB

Week 5 challenge:
- No hazards + must include Reshiram on your team
- Wildcards: None

Week 6 challenge:
- Assault Vest on all Pokemon
