Research Triples Anyone?

Using the prefix a bit loosely, but I want to know if anyone has deep knowledge on triples strategy. I’ve asked in Ruins Of Alph and I was pointed this way, so I hope there’s people out there who knows how to properly strategize in triples, in general. All I’ve come up with before in terms of strategy has been placing levitate/flyers to negate an Earthquake’s ally damage, and occasionally using moves with more reach like Fly or Acrobatics.

Triples was pretty heavily under-explored here, especially competitive pvp speaking, largely because no official format supported it (VGC remained doubles).

At best there might be a thread somewhere in Orange Islands for the Battle Subway which might give you some help if you go digging, but don't expect any recent discussion or help... I can only think of a handful of users that may have ever delved deeper than a cursory level to help you out team-wise.
Hi! Unfortunately it looks like you were misdirected, since the Battle Subway never supported Triples (one more reason for it to be so underexplored). A shame, since the format's so interesting it doesn't deserve to be relegated to a gimmick. The only significant strategy documentation I'm aware of is this article from 2012: https://www.smogon.com/smog/issue20/intro_triple

Anecdotally, I recall the most exposure Triples ever got was when the PWT was introduced in B2W2 and it was the only way to see several Trainers' full teams.

Edit: Also found these old closed threads back when there was Gen 5's GBU and Gen 6's Battle Spot instead of now-Gen 8's Battle Stadium. Not sure how much is in them though:

Not sure who pushed you this way, but unfortunately like Zowayiz said, there hasn't ever been a huge amount of exploration into triples.

I've heard of several Battle Subway streaks which were amusing (Scarfed Rock Slide Blissey for example), but nothing realistically concrete. The BW Subway thread is probably the best place to look though.
