Choice Scarf Sandy Shocks is a valuable form of speed control, outspeeding and revenge killing promient Pokemon like Mega Aerodactyl, Cinderace, and Alakazam, as well as being a great offensive pivot thanks to its high Special Attack and threatening movepool. Thunderbolt is notably effective at targeting the tier's plethora of Water- and Flying-types, OHKOing Galarian Zapdos and Mega Aerodactyl after Stealth Rock and 2HKOing Tapu Fini, Slowbro, and Galarian Moltres. Earth Power targets Rock-, Steel, and Fire-types, OHKOing the likes of Iron Moth and offensive variants of Iron Treads while dealing significant damage to foes like Mega Tyranitar and Assault Vest Iron Treads. Spikes can be used to chip down foes, though it forces Sandy Shocks out after using it, making it risky against setup sweepers. Alternatively, Power Gem deals super effective damage to Thundurus and Thundurus-T and chips Hydreigon. Sandy Shocks can pair excellently with other entry hazard setters like Ting-Lu, Mega Tyranitar, and Skarmory, as they help it guarantee a 2HKO on foes such as defensive Celesteela after Stealth Rock chip, and they can also wear down checks like Tapu Bulu and Hippowdon for it. In return, Sandy Shocks can spread hazards alongside them while also threatening removal options like Tapu Fini, Iron Treads, and Excadrill. Offensive pivot such as Meowscarada, Cinderace, and Galarian Zapdos form a VoltTurn core with Sandy Shocks, being able to pivot each other in to threaten Pokemon that can wall it like Mega Latias, Mega Venusaur, and Blissey. Sandy Shock's average defenses make it appreciate having bulky teammates like Skarmory, Tapu Fini, and Teleport Blissey that can pivot into foes like Tapu Bulu, Hydreigon, and Mega Latias, and they can offer a backbone to it whenever it locks itself into Spikes.

Choice Scarf Sandy Shocks can be a valuable teammate on many teams Optional but this is self-explanatory given you're writing an analysis on the mon as a form of Speed control, outspeeding and revenge killing the tier's promient Pokemon like Mega Aerodactyl, Cinderace, and Alakazam, as well as being a great offensive pivot thanks to its high Special Attack and good threatening movepool. Thunderbolt is notably effective at targeting the tier's plethora of Water- and Flying-types, This ought to be specified OHKO's Skarmory and Enamorus, as well as Specially frail targets aren't worth specifying here OHKOing Galarian Zapdos and Mega Aerodactyl after hazard support Stealth Rock, They can't exactly be damaged by Spikes 99% of the time and 2HKOing Tapu Fini, Slowbro, and Galarian Moltres. Earth Power deals with Mega Tyranitar, Iron Moth, and Iron Treads targets Rock-, Steel, and Fire-types, OHKOing the likes of Iron Moth and offensive variants of Iron Treads while dealing significant damage to foes like Mega Tyranitar and Assault Vest Iron Treads. "deals with" is pretty vague, and Earth Power doesn't consistently 2HKO Stealth Rock MTar so I reworded to try and account for this. This change is merely a suggestion, feel free to reword it however you see fit Volt Switch provides Sandy Shocks with a way to pivot out, letting it come-in to finish off weakened foes while still maintaining momentum. Self-explanatory, dex-info Spikes can be used to spread entry hazards chipping chip down opponents foes, "opponent" always means the opposing player, not their Pokemon however, (Add comma) forcing it forces Sandy Shocks out after it has set up. Mention how risky this is against many setup sweepers Alternatively, Power Gem hits deals super effective damage to Thundurus and Thundurus-T and chips Hydreigon. It doesn't do enough to Hydreigon to let it sit alongside Thundurus-T, and base should be mentioned as it's viable here too The given EV spread maximizes Sandy Shocks offensive capabilities. Self-explanatory Sandy Shocks can pair excellently with other entry hazard setters like Hippowdon Ting-Lu, Ting-Lu is better Mega Tyranitar, Hydreigon, and Skarmory, which can help it to gurantee guarantee a 2HKO on foes such as defensive Celesteela. Mention how they can wear down checks like Tapu Bulu and Hippowdon In return, Sandy Shocks can spread hazards in conjuction with alongside them, (Remove comma) while also threatening removal options like Tapu Fini, Iron Treads, and Excadrill. Offensive pivot supports such as Meowscarada, Cinderace, and Galarian Zapdos, can pair well with Sandy Shocks forming a VoltTurn core form a VoltTurn core with Sandy Shocks, Reworded since this section was hard to read. This is a suggestion, feel free to reword as you like being able to pivot in to threaten pokemon Pokemon that can wall it like Mega Latias, Mega Venusaur, and Blissey. Mention what it does for the pivots in return Sandy Shocks Shocks's average defenses can also make it appreciate having bulky teammates like Skarmory, Tapu Fini, and Chansey, Replace Chansey with Teleport Blissey or Rotom-W to be able to pivot into.
