Announcement The PU Classic IV - Commencement

This tournament will celebrate PU's interesting history through the generations, culminating into a finals where players must play all generations to have a chance to write their names in the history of the tier! This time around, however, the PU Classic will be the first part of the 2021 PU Circuit!

The format consists of four separate tournaments: The SM Cup, The ORAS Cup, The BW Cup, and The DPP Cup. Each tournament is single elimination, best of three. Depending on your performance in a Cup, you will be awarded points. The point system is the same as the one used in Smogon Tour. When all the Cups have been finished, the sixteen players with the most points will advance to the play-offs. There they will battle in a best of three series that includes all generations until there is one undisputed PU Classic champion, with the higher seed choosing the generation for the first match.

Signups for each Cup will be posted a week after the signups for the previous Cup in the circuit tournaments subforum. The hosts are allowed to play in the tournament that they are administering, as long as they elect someone else to create pairings. Here is the list of the Cups with the names of the hosts and the dates each will be posted, and with links to the signups:

The spreadsheet is finally ready! It has been updated up to R2 of SM Cup and R1 of ORAS. Points are being given out in the same basis as Slam.
