Battle Specifics
Hard Mode Wave Structure
Opponents will act according to a pre-determined behavior list, as follows.
Opponents choose their targets for any single-target actions in their behaviors using a strict logic.
- Format: 4vX Doubles
- DQ: 48hrs
- Substitutions: 1 per player.
- Your opponents have, perhaps, six possible actions each. You will make do.
- Coordinate with your teammate. The player posting first should be able to stomach the actions directed at them.
- Recoveries: 1 per wave.
- Chills: 2 per wave.
- Switch: Special. See below.

This small town between Dendemille Town and Anistar City hosts a peculiar festival every year during October. The paved streets are rather narrow, giving it an eerie allure... Ornemental lanterns, carved pumpkins and decorated facades are the theater of your battles. Some passerbys even watch you from time to time, cheering on you to continue your night of trick-or-treating and sometimes trying to distract the Pokémon with candy.

Hard Mode Wave Structure
- Enemies are fought in consecutive pairs. Each pair of trainers is a wave. Each opposing trainer brings all of their listed Pokemon.
- Only your HP, Energy, and any Major Status effects you have will carry between waves.
- The trainers are fought in the exact order they are listed.
- The opponents are trainers with their own distinct rosters. Each opposing trainer only commands their own Pokemon, and has only one of their Pokemon in play at a time.
- Each opposing trainer leads with their first listed Pokemon.
- Phazing and Pivoting work normally for opposing trainers in Hard Mode.
Opponents will act according to a pre-determined behavior list, as follows.
- Opponents have pre-made ordersets that they choose from semi-randomly.
- Opponents don't have, spend, or require Energy.
- When the ref is rolling orders for the opponents, they will use one of their special ordersets if their condition is met. They will use one of their ordinary ordersets if the condition is not met.
- If the opponent has substitutions with their orders, they issue all of those substitutions every round.
- Thus, rolling multiple dice out of 3 is sufficient to determine all opponents' ordersets.
- The opponents are desperate for the candy of the trick-or-treaters. Their Struggle has 9 BAP, does not inflict recoil, and targets a player Pokemon at random.

Poor Edea got the task of carrying a lot of team members on her back while searching for us, and when she did, you bet she was relieved (she had to carry Dahlia on her back because the latter threatened to curse her forever if she didn't). That may explain why she arrived after Agnès, who's notably bad at not getting lost in the camp, let aside following directions.
Slow and steady is her motto, and she's one of the sturdiest around. Not to say she's all defensive though, because if you tick her off, you're in for a brutal charge and possibly a crushing High Horsepower to the face. Or two.

I don't think Rin noticed we weren't in the same setting anymore. She's pretty much in her own setting all the time anyway. She still spins and still confuses the hell out of opponents. She never noticed the power levels have left her somewhat in the dust, as she's weak and even her tricks aren't that good anymore. It's a sad day to be a Spinda, for sure. But she doesn't care.
