[OVERVIEW]
Articuno secures itself a niche on defensive teams as a solid Defogger with unique qualities. Its great special bulk and reliable recovery let it take on Pokemon such as Ribombee, Mesprit, and Frosmoth without much issue. Pressure + Defog can threaten entry hazard users that don't threaten Articuno, such as Druddigon and Mesprit, and it is able to stall Pokemon such as Whimsicott lacking Knock Off and Palossand due to its massive special bulk. Unfortunately, Articuno's typing gives it few relevant resistances and weaknesses to common types such as Electric, Fire and Steel as well as a 4x weakness to Rock-types. This makes Articuno reliant on Heavy-Duty Boots to avoid Stealth Rock and very vulnerable to Knock Off. Articuno often requires dedicated support to succeed and only fits on specific playstyles such as stall or semi-stall.

move 4: Brave Bird / Heal Bell / Toxic

[SET COMMENTS]
Freeze-Dry hits Ground-types such as Sandaconda and Rhydon as well as Water-types such as Lanturn and Jellicent. Alternatively, U-turn generates momentum for Articuno's team but cannot directly threaten the aforementioned Ground- and Water-types. Brave Bird hits Bug-types such as Ribombee and Centiskorch and prevents them from turning Articuno into setup fodder. Heal Bell can be used for cleric and frees up a slot for the most common cleric on defensive teams, Audino. Toxic is also an option to cripple switch-ins such as Gigalith and Magmortar, but it lacks the utility of either Brave Bird or Heal Bell. The given Speed EVs let Articuno outspeed neutral-natured base 65 Speed foes such as Centiskorch and Frosmoth, while the remaining EVs go into its special bulk to better check Ribombee and Galarian Articuno. Since Articuno mainly fits on stall teams, it should be paired with Knock Off absorbers such as Scrafty and Weezing; Scrafty also absorbs status, while Weezing can burn physical attackers.. In return, it provides valuable Defog support and checks Frosmoth and Centiskorch, which have good matchups against defensive teams. Other entry hazard removers such as Claydol and Tsareena can free up a moveslot for Articuno and allow it to run another utility move while also threatening entry hazard setters such as Reigrock and Gigalith. Articuno's common weaknesses can be negated by partners such as Palossand and Quagsire. Both absorb Electric- and Rock-type moves, with Palossand also providing Stealth Rock support and Quagsire taking on Fire- and Steel-type moves for Articuno.

Pressure means that it can continue to Defog away entry hazards while wasting PP, and it is able to stall Pokemon such as Garbodor lacking Toxic and Palossand due to their attacking moves lacking much PP. U-turn is something that separates it from other Defoggers such as Charizard, as this means it can generate momentum for its team. Unfortunately, its typing gives it few relevant resistances and 4 weaknesses to common types, such as Electric-, Fire-, Steel-, and a debilitating 4x weakness to Rock. It is also heavily reliant on Heavy-Duty Boots in order to avoid Stealth Rock, and as such is very weak to Knock Off. [SET COMMENTS]
Freeze Dry (hyphenate freeze-dry.) gives Articuno a STAB move to hit Ground-types such as Sandaconda and Rhydon on their weaker side, as well as denting opposing Water-types such as Lanturn and Jellicent. (if u-turn is slashed with freeze-dry, then you should explain why you might want to run the former over the latter.) Brave Bird hits Bug-types such as Ribombee and Centiskorch and prevents them from turning Articuno into setup bait. Toxic is also an option to cripple would-be switchins such as Gigalith and Magmortar, but lacks the utility of either Brave Bird or Heal Bell. The given EV investment outspeeds neutral natured base 65s such as Centiskorch and Frosmoth, while the rest go into its special bulk to better check Ribombee and Alolan Exeggutor. 56 Atk EVs are an option to always OHKO Centiskorch, however this cuts into Articuno's bulk. As Articuno mainly fits on stall teams, it should be paired with special walls such as Audino, who can take some of the heat off Articuno. (articuno is already a special wall, or at least very specially bulky, so "should be paired with special walls" doesn't make a lot of sense here. audino is a good partner, but not necessarily bc it is a special wall.) In return, it can provide valuable Defog support and an check to Frosmoth and Centiskorch, who otherwise have good matchups against defensive teams. Electric immunites and bulky Waters such as Palossand and Pyukumuku are great teammates as well, since the former can negate Articuno's Electric weakness, while the latter resists Fire- and Steel- for Articuno.

knock off absorbers and other entry hazard removers/deterrents both make for valuable teammates seeing as they compensate for articuno's reliance on heavy-duty boots and can support it (and its team) in the event that it does lose its boots. other removers/deterrents can also free up a moveslot on articuno and allow it to run more than one attacking move or another support move, which is especially useful on full stall.

i also think haze might be worth mentioning as an alternate move. it's situational, but it can help against stuff like np mesprit or cm xatu that could otherwise annoy stall.

Its great special bulk and reliable recovery means it can take on Pokemon such as Ribombee, Mesprit, and Frosmoth without much issue, and the ability to run Heal Bell allows it to heal off status. Pressure means that it can continue to Defog away entry hazards while wasting PP well this is only applicable if Articuno is able to safely enter the field versus a hazard setter and hazards are not up. You are never going into cuno vs Gigalith, Regirock, etc, and you'd have to risk versus Sandaconda. Pressure is better suited to focus on wasting PP from hazard setters who do not threaten Articuno much like Druddigon, Mesprit, Weezing, or Claydol., and it is able to stall Pokemon such as Garbodor lacking Toxic not in the tier anymore, so let's change to something relevant and Palossand due to their attacking moves lacking much PP it's more so because Palossand lacks offensive firepower versus Cuno, rather than the attacks lacking PP. Another example that can work if you continue this route is something like Whimsicott, but Cuno is fearful of Knock Off. Freeze-Dry gives Articuno a STAB move to hit Ground-types such as Sandaconda and Rhydon on their weaker side, as well as denting opposing Water-types such as Lanturn and Jellicent. This allows Articuno to immediately threaten these Ground- and Water-types, which is something U-turn cannot do. You already mentioned that Grounds and Waters are threatened thanks to Freeze Dry. Reiterate this sentence to be more so about why U-turn can be an alternate option > Freeze Dry. Brave Bird hits Bug-types such as Ribombee and Centiskorch and prevents them from turning Articuno into setup bait. Toxic is also an option to cripple would-be switchins such as Gigalith and Magmortar, but lacks the utility of either Brave Bird or Heal Bell. The given EV investment outspeeds neutral natured base 65s such as Centiskorch and Frosmoth, while the rest go into its special bulk to better check Ribombee and Alolan Exeggutor Eggy's banned, I'd change this to Articuno-Galar since with your EV spread, Hurricane only does roughly 36 max which is pretty relevant. 56 Atk EVs are an option to always OHKO Centiskorch, however this cuts into Articuno's bulk. As neat as this fact is, Centiskorch is just not relevant enough for this to be mentioned. I'd just delete this sentence. Haze is also worth a mention, as it allows Articuno to deal with niche stallbreakers like Cosmic Power Xatu and Nasty Plot + Energy Ball Mesprit. Xatu is no longer in the tier, and Haze doesn't particularly have a place on Cuno because realistically every other move is more important to have. I'd just delete this sentence as well. As Articuno mainly fits on stall teams, it should be paired with Knock Off absorbers such as Guzzlord rip Guzz, mention something else like Aromatisse or Scrafty or Weezing, who can support Articuno in other ways such as phazing the opposing threat providing heal bell support / status absorber and Burning a troublesome physical attacker, respectively. In return, it can provide valuable Defog support and a check to Frosmoth and Centiskorch, who otherwise have good matchups against defensive teams. Other hazard removers or deterrents such as Claydol and Xatu mention a different hazard remover here like Tsareena > Xatu since these can threaten hazard setters like Gigalith, Conda, and Regirock can free up a moveslot for Articuno and allow it to run another utility move. Electric immunites and bulky Waters such as Palossand and Pyukumuku are great teammates as well, since the former can negate Articuno's Electric weakness, while the latter resists Fire- and Steel- for Articuno. Re-word this last sentence here so that way you aren't mentioning Palossand being immune to Electric twice. You can say something like "Since Articuno has several common weaknesses, patching up those weaknesses with teammates like Palossand or Pyukumuku can be ideal since the former can x and the latter can y".

@me once you've implemented these changes. Since this analysis was pretty outdated due to shifts, I'd like to take another look at this before QCing 2/2. (approved by gum) Good work as always though
