[SET COMMENTS]
Steelix finds itself a niche as a defensive rocks-setter with the ability to check a variety of physical attackers such as Drapion and Escavalier due it's gargantuan base Defense. Body Press is Steelix's main attacking move that allows it to dish out consistent damage during the course of a battle.it also provides higer damage output than Earthquake against neutral targets. Earthquake in the second slot allows Steelix to hit common poison types such as Salazzle, Dragalge and Galarian Slowbro. Alternatively, Head Smash can be used to pressure common defoggers such as Mantine and Xatu. Toxic allows steelix to cripple the aforementioned defoggers as well as pokemon like Golurk and Dhelmise. Curse can also be increase the power of Steelix's Head Smash to allow it to break past Xatu. The given EV spread helps to maximise it's defensive capability by hitting a jump point on the physically defensive side and allows it to handle attacks from the special side from the likes of Goodra and Dragalge as well.

Steelix fits well on a variety of playstyles ranging from balance to bulky offense and even stall with its ability to set up rocks reliably and the ability to consistently check pokemon like Gardevoir. like It synergises well with bulky waters such as Vaporeon and Mantine to form as they can handle Pokemon like Barraskewda, Inteleon and Charizard for it. In return, it can handle electric type moves from the likes of Heliolisk for them.
Steelix can check special attackers such as Gardevoir and Dragalge but gets worn down due to it's middling bulk so secondary checks such as Porygon2 and Umbreon help ease some pressure on it . Notably, Steelix also lacks any form of reliable recovery which means that Wish users such as Umbreon and Vaporeon also pair well with it. Lastly, Galarian Slowbro also synergizes well with Steelix as it can check Fighting-type Pokemon such as Bewear and Passimian for Steelix whereas Steelix can handle Pokemon like Drapion that like to revenge kill Galarian Slowbro.

Steelix finds itself a niche as a defensive rocks-setter Stealth Rock setter with the ability to check a variety of physical attackers (give examples) in the tier due it's gargantuan base Defense. It has a customizable movepool to allow it to function in a variety of situations. Body Press is Steelix's main attacking move that allows it to dish out consistent damage during the course of a battle. (This sentence should mention that it hits harder than eq against neutral targets) Iron defense or Curse can be run to increase the power of body press, and in the latter's case, steelix's other attacking moves if it chooses to run them Head Smash to allow Steelix to break past Xatu. Head smash can be run in the last slot to pressure and damge damage common defoggers such as Mantine and Xatu that Steelix has a hard time handling otherwise. Earthquake is another option to be able to hit other rockers for super effective damage (Most of these take heavy damage from press anyways. Its better to mention Poison-types like lazzle, dragalge, and glowbro). Alternatively, Toxic can be run to cripple the aforementioned defoggers (toxic is for mantine, but also things like golurk and dhelmise, so try and reflect that here) that like to switch in on Steelix. (reorder this section to match the moves, assuming you make the moveset changes I suggested) The given EV spread helps to maximise maximize it's its defensive capability and allow it to handle attacks from the special side as well. (mention that the 16+ def hits a jump point, and mention what the special bulk helps against like galge, goo, etc)

Steelix fits well on a variety of playstyles ranging from balance to bulky offense and even stall with its ability to set up rocks reliably and decent movepool consistently check threats like (insert pkmn). It synergises well with bulky waters Water-type Pokemon such as Vaporeon and Mantine to form a good defensive core. (this is vague, try to explain what they check for it like zard, skewda, etc). Mantine forms an especially good partner as it can switch into water moves that steelix hates while steelix can switch into electric moves that usually OHKO mantine. (instead mention that vapo and mantine appreciate steelix's ability to check stuff like heliolisk in the previous sentence) (remove this line break)
Steelix tends to struggle against many special attackers due to it's low special defense even after high investment. For this reason, specially defensive pokemon such as the aforementioned mantine and vaporeon are good matches for steelix. (Steelix checks a lot of special stuff like garde and galge by virtue of its typing, but can be worn down due to middling bulk so you need a secondary check for these mons. try and emphasize that instead) Notably, Steelix also lacks any form of reliable recovery which means that wishpassers Wish users such as Umbreon and Vaporeon also pair well with it. Lastly, Slowbro-Galar Galarian Slowbro also synergises synergizes well with Steelix as it can check fighting types Fighting-type Pokemon such as Bewear and Passimian for Steelix whereas Steelix can handle dark moves from Pokemon like Drapion that like to revenge kill Slowbro-Galar Galarian Slowbro.
