Anyways yeah. Starcraft. Love the game. Used to be pretty good, but between going to a mouseless Macbook and not playing for a long time, my micro is shit.

Anyone interested in a Smogon channel, something like that? I'm hesitant to say much of a clan because honestly I'm not all that great at the game, but it'd be nice to be able to practice with people in a more familiar environment like Smogon than make pubs on iccup all day.

I'm absolutly terrible at the competitive portion of this game (build order huh?) but I've always loved it, I would gladly play anyone who's interested.

I have played SC on and off for a long time. Massed Iccup games for awhile and barely got to D+ before I gave up finally.

Now I just watch SC, but I'm willing to play if other people are.

Sorry, but I disagree. Sneaking into someones base with a dark templar is by no means a great ending, it was pretty sloppy of that guy not to notice his base was being wrecked considering the zerg are all about having detectors everywhere and constant reinforcements.

There is no alert when Dark Templar nails drones - of course he's not going to notice immediately. It's a great ending since it's a pretty epic come back.

Well, to be fair, the guy was only hitting one of his bases so the zerg player really didn't ever have THAT much of an advantage, it was all a big distraction!! I really don't think it was that great of an ending.

Speaking of which, tangerine do you play at all? I'd love to have a match with you once internet in my new place is ready!

ive never been very good at sc competitively but always enjoyed watching pro games. personally Stork is one of my favourite players.

this is a 1.5 hour game of Stork vs ggplay, he makes use of every protoss unit (except scouts!) and uses some nice mind control play with DAs.

So they just had the MSL selections yesterday. I just wanna say......

My Initial thoughts:

LOL who thought it was a good idea putting Bisu with 3 other Protosses. Kinda sucks though since 2 of the 6 dragons are insured a R1 exit ><

There is a CJ Entus player in every group except Bisu's

Alot of my favorite players are playing in this MSL. I'm hoping to see sKyHigH, HwaSin, Bisu, effOrt, saviOr, FlasH, and JaeDong all advance. Thought some of them, I know have a hard road ahead of them :|

fOrGG, who has been slumping lately, got such a wussy group. He'll probably advance but then get annihilated in the second round is my guess.

The highlight groups in my mind are: A, B, D, F; I'm sure we'll see amazing games especially out of F

Ah well. Tangerine, I wanna hear your thoughts on the selections

Yeah, HoGil definitely had the upper hand especially in terms of resources... and all violet could do was just sit there and defend.

Violet's defenses were pretty solid, even with all those crazy drops

and of course... 43:00 has the most epic battle I have ever seen in starcraft. Well played. well played. I liked the commentators who pretty much pointed out the Dark Archon maelstormed the entire left and center for the reavers and the archons took the right, which lead to a nice cover for reavers to literally break through that army of ultras

Oh i finally cleared that macro practice map :D although I can't micro my probe while doing so so i need to practice that i guess :S
