Set Description

Choice Specs Primarina utilises its good bulk and defensive typing to fire off strong attacks after surviving a hit, allowing it to take on prominent metagame pokemon like Landorus-T, Regidrago, and Urshifu. Hydro Cannon and Moonblast are strong STAB moves. Ice Beam defeats Assault Vest Landorus-T, Sparkling Aria defeats Pressure Stall Entei, and Energy Ball defeats Gastrodon and Quagsire.

240 HP and 164 Defense EVs allow Primarina to survive Earthquake from Adamant Choice Band Landorus-T, and Freeze-Dry from Timid Choice Specs Kyurem. The Speed EVs outspeeds Adamant Steelix, and the remaining EVs are put in Special Attack for maximum damage output.
Usage Tips

Use the super effective move or the move that does the most damage on a neutral target. Against Choice Scarf Togekiss, Primarina should use Hydro Cannon for the best chance to win, as Ice Beam fails to OHKO.

Against Magnezone, Primarina should use Icy Wind Turn 1, then either use Icy Wind again predicting an Endure or Hydro Cannon predicting an attacking move turn 2.
