(this was all I could think of, Slowbro usually doesn't run offensive sets so there ya go)

Overview:
- Water/Psychic is a very good defensive typing, having over 6 resistances, with one notable one being Fighting.
- As the majority of relevant Fighting-types in OU are physical attackers, this makes Slowbro an effective check to threats like Rapid-Strike Urushifu, Terrakion, Conkeldurr, and even Heracross and Hawlucha.
- 95/110 physical bulk is extremely good, contributing to the above statement. This also allows Slowbro to be an effective check to most physical attackers in the tier, like Excadrill, for instance.
- An extremely wide movepool offensively and defensively means Slowbro can avert passivity issues and can support its team in many ways.
- Although Water/Psychic is a great defensive typing, it also carries some serious weaknesses to common attacking types in Dark, Grass, Electric, and Ghost.
- Its special bulk is also terrible and as such leaves it vulnerable to being overwhelmed by special attackers like Hydreigon, Kyurem, Gengar, Aegislash, and Alakazam.
- Even with its good physical bulk, it can still be pressured and forced out by the likes of Bisharp, Obstagoon, and Zeraora due to its weaknesses.

Potential Movesets:
Your Standard Defensive Pivot... or is it?
Slowbro @ Leftovers
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
- Teleport
- Scald
- Slack Off
- Ice Beam

Slowbro's main role will likely be a similar role akin to what it does in the NatDex OU metagame, and, by extension, in Gen 7: a Defensive Pivot. This one is meant to stomach a hit, cripple a physical attacker via Scald burn, and then Teleport out and bring another teammate in while simultaneously regenerating HP via Regenerator. Although it can't Wish pass unlike Clefable, it still makes for an effective defensive pivot that can check some physical attackers. Ice Beam is just there so Hydreigon can't as easily switch in on it. This also makes it not as passive as well, so I'll give you that.

Overall potential?:
It'll likely come as no surprise that regular Slowbro will be very good in SS OU. Its combination of a darn good defensive typing, great physical bulk, and a huge movepool that features Teleport and Slack Off, not to mention its ability, Regenerator, which rewards it for using Teleport, makes it a formidable defensive threat that is hard to wear down. Although that special defense and its weaknesses to common attacking types in Dark, Electric, Grass, and Ghost do kind of kill it, chances are Slowbro will remain a potent defensive threat even factoring in those issues.

I think you should consider either kasib berry slowbro or no item slowbro as niche picks.

No item allows you to fully wall Poltergeist marowak-alola and improves the matchup vs knock off users like conkeldurr. I think the ability to hard wall Poltergeist marowak-alola is very noteworthy if the rest of your team is weak to it, which could be very valuable if slowbro is placed on more defensive team. Being able to wall conk easier is also a good trait as conk is also another pokemon defensive teams may struggle with.

If you think the idea of not running an item is inconceivable, then kasib berry is an ok alternative to deal with marowak-alola. It allows you to eat one poltergeist, while all subsequent poltergeist will have no effect. If for some reason they run shadow bone then kasib berry would also come into use in stopping marowak-alola unlike no item. Kasib berry also allows you to stay in onto DD dragapult to paralyze it or hit it with ice beam. If you run a psychic type move instead of ice beam, kasib berry allows you to eat a hit from gengar and KO it back. Similarly, if you run flamethrower as your coverage of choice, you can eat a hit from swords dance/choice band aegislash and KO back.

I personally think kasib berry is probably better, although running no item is funny as fuck when you can completely wall the hardest hitting mon in OU, with a bonus of walling conk easier.

Leftovers, Kasib Berry and Colbur Berry all seem like viable item choices to me, but I think Heavy-Duty Boots is actually the most viable. It allows it to not care about Stealth Rock and (Toxic) Spikes every time it comes in, which could otherwise negate its Regenerator healing.

Hope this isnt true but this is what my friend told me about teleport regenerator not being legal. please let me know thanks

"slowbro cannot have teleport and regenerator since pokemon let's go has no hidden abilities (teleport was only a gen 1 tm)"

You can transfer Teleport Slowbro from generation 1 via the Virtual Console and it will have its hidden ability Regenerator.

i saw here and there that some play slowbro without item to counter marowak so what do you think about a red card slowbro to also possibly mess up some setup sweeper like azumarill or pyrax ?

Why not go with the Ghost reduction berry in that case?

Slowbro makes a great Trick Room setter since it can set it up and Teleport something like A Marowak in. I've been playing around with;

Slowbro @ Red Card
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
- Teleport
- Scald
- Slack Off
- Trick Room
