Sinistcha @ Leftovers
Ability: Heatproof
Tera Type: Poison
EVs: 252 HP / 160 Def / 96 Spe
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Calm Mind
- Matcha Gotcha
- Shadow Ball
- Strength Sap

Sinistcha is one of the newest Pokemon that dropped to UU, and it sure has made a big splash. Its typing has given it great value as a spinblocker and check to threats like Iron Treads, Quaquaval, and non-Terastallized Sandy Shocks, but where it really shines is as a deadly Calm Mind sweeper thanks to a combination of Heatproof, Strength Sap, and Matcha Gotcha. Sinistcha can further compound this with its own Terastallization, allowing it to flip its weaknesses to foes such as Hydreigon, Meowscarada, and Tornadus-T. Tera Poison also gives it a useful Toxic immunity and allows it to check and deny being checked by Okidogi while still keeping a Fighting-type resistance for Pokemon like Quaquaval and Iron Hands. Sinistcha appreciates teammates such as Slowking that can help check Tornadus-T earlier in the game before it is ready to commit to a Calm Mind sweep. Assault Vest Tornadus-T can check Hydreigon and provide Sinistcha with setup opportunities against Pokemon like Slowking. Okidogi and Fezandipiti can help spread poison against checks like Tornadus-T, Salamence, and Skeledirge; Okidogi can act as a secondary sweeper with Bulk Up that appreciates Sinistcha's wallbreaking, while Fezandipiti can check Tornadus-T and Hydreigon for Sinistcha and provide U-turn pivoting.

Sinistcha is one of the new Pokemon this generation that dropped to UU, and it sure has made a big splash. To start with, its typing has given it great value as a spinblocker and check to threats like Iron Treads, Quaquaval, and Sandy Shocks, although it must watch out for Terastallized coverage from them. Now that Duck has Knock it doesn't use tera blast anymore (treads never runs it) so this only really applies to Sandy. Unless you mean using tera defensively vs teapot. Either way, something here needs rewording. This alone is fantastic but where it really shines is as a deadly sweeper with Calm Mind, thanks to a combination of Heatproof, Strength Sap, and its signature move with significant healing. Sinistcha can further compound this with its own Terastallization, allowing it to turn weaknesses such as Hydreigon, Meowscarada, and Tornadus-Therian around. Tera Poison also gives it a useful Toxic immunity and allows it to check and deny being checked by Okidogi and Fezandipiti who, while still keeping a Fighting-type resistance for Pokemon like Quaquaval and Iron Hands. Sinistcha appreciates teammates such as Slowking that can help check Heatran Heatran is now dead and Tornadus-Therian earlier in the game before it is ready to commit to a Calm Mind sweep. Assault Vest Tornadus-Therian can check Hydreigon, cripple Heatran with Knock Off, and provide Sinistcha set-up opportunities against Pokemon like Slowking. Okidogi and Fezandipiti can help spread poison against checks like Tornadus-Therian, Salamence, and Skeledirge; Okidogi can act as a secondary sweeper with Bulk Up who appreciates Sinistcha's breaking while Fezandipiti can check Tornadus-Therian and Hydreigon for Sinistcha and provide U-turn pivoting.

I see you writing Tornadus-T full name to fill up your character limit. Shame on you
