Yeah, I fought this guy too. The funny thing is, my team is so offensive (therefore easily screwed over by Focus Sash) and weak to Bug and Grass he nearly beat me. It all came down to a speed tie.

I only remember seeing "oh hey Vivillon, Butterfree, Masquerain and Beautifly. Is he a hardcore earlygame bug lover or something" and then he sent out Venomoth.

Still hilarious though when Gogoat shits all over his team between Sleep Powder immunity, x4 Horn Leech and Bug/Fire/Flying/Poison resistance.

The combination of Ice Punch and Earthquake on a Mold Breaker Regigias gives it the best coverage in the game, so it makes sense. Or it would if these moves weren't so weak.

c) leech seed/pain split works the same way
d) you don't need to rely on status with just pain split (cause diglett's base hp stat is 10)
