SPOILERS! Scarlet & Violet: The Teal Mask

Is Embody Aspect on Ogerpon a flat +1 or is it a Protosynthesis-esque boost? If it's the former, I think Ogerpon actually has potential banworthy potential if it can get a free turn to set up Swords Dance and Tera, especially since the normal form frees up your item slot for something like Life Orb, HBD, etc. I imagine a setup sweeper set would look something like:

Ogerpon @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Defiant
Tera Type: Grass
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
  • Ivy Cudgel/Horn Leech
  • Knock Off
  • Stomping Tantrum/Superpower/Brick Break
  • Swords Dance
I have little faith in the alternate masks seeing much competitive success as giving up your Tera type AND your item slot is a huge detriment. But base Ogerpon I believe is potentially broken on paper, though I'm eager to try it out in practice.

I remember a while back hearing about the "ultimate" move tailor or something that let's you re learn old and event moves. Is that still a thing and is it going to be in this dlc?

I asked this already, it's a +1 boost, like pre-nerf Intrepid Sword.

Actually I take back what I said about Fezandipiti being like Moltres-G.
This thing is absolute hot garbage and gets worse the more I look at him.
-Of the Loyal Trio, he has the lowest ”highest stat” of 125 SpD where as Munki and Dogi both get 128 Atk and 130 SpA respectfully
-Its next highest stat is also the lowest and isn’t even above 100, having 99 Speed.
-While Dogi naturally has STAB for Steel types, and Munki has STAB for Poison types, Piti gets walled by both off its STABs
-Dogi also gets High Horsepower as coverage against Poison and Munki gets Focus Blast against Steels, Piti gets Technician Double Kick and Heatwave (these moves are coming off its 91 Atk and 70 SpA) for non-Tera Blast options against Steel
-It has literally no non-Tera Blast option against Poison what so ever
-Not like Double Kick off 91 Atk is strong either, even with Technician. It’s only effectively 90 BP
-If you are using Technician it also means you’re not using Toxic Chain either
-With unique type combos, Dogi at least gets Ice Punch for Lando/Gliscor, Munki still has Focus Blast for things like Ting-Lu as well as Grass Knot and Shadow Ball for Gholdengo, Piti still requires Tera Blast to hit a bunch of thing or decide between hitting Skeledirge, Arcanine-H, and Heatran
-Frankly it’s also not good as a wall either. It has Roost and can auto badly poison things by attacking, but it does nothing else as a wall
-It has even less means to threaten out Poison or Steel types, who have a free switch into it
-No Thunder Wave, Spikes, Will-o-wisp, Haze, Scald, or Knock Off
-Not like its one of those walls that can wear you down while having top tier bulk like Lugia or Dondozo, it has only alright physical bulk
I don’t want to make too bold if predictions but if a tier has any decently bulky Steels and Poisons, this thing will not do good in that tier. Without Tera Blast, this thing just gets hard walled by them. Even in RU you’re set up fodder for Klefki, Overqwil, Slowbro-G, and Revavroom when you’re defensive. You’re also really unable to break past a lot of Pokemon offensively because your best offense is 91 with your everything besides Gunk Shot being weak as hell.
Unless the movepool is incomplete and it has actually good moves to use, this thing is absolute Dogi shit and Munki dung. It could very easily end up in NU.
I just think y'all underestimate it or play it too commonly to other walls. Its main function would be to spread toxic and heal, for example using icy wind on a sweeper switch and suddenly that switch in is both toxic and at -1 speed. It can uturn out a predicted bad matchup. It can sub up, or it can just set up with a bunch of different moves.

I remember a while back hearing about the "ultimate" move tailor or something that let's you re learn old and event moves. Is that still a thing and is it going to be in this dlc?
That was never a thing and was likely a misinterpretation of the move reminder function added to Home

I think the most notable thing about the DLC so far is honestly Alomomola's new moves, this thing is gonna be a monster.
with 252 HP and 0 IV, negative nature speed, it can pivot out last very consistently with 121 speed, and pass wishes that heal for 267 HP, which should typically be at least 60% of the pokemon that comes in's HP. This is even more crazy with the fact that many bulky pokemon in the meta (most notably Great Tusk) lack recovery of their own and are reliant on leftovers. Plus, Alomomola can afford to do this quite often without needing to use wish for itself too much, since regenerator lets it heal off at least a good chunk of any damage it took while pivoting out. Safely passed wishes from that high of an HP stat WITH regenerator for sustain is just crazy.

And all of that is without even mentioning Scald, which helps it pose a threat through burn chance, crippling physical threats long term.

Lastly, if Alomomola doesn't fit on your team or you're playing a lower tier, Vaporeon also has all the moves needed, can hit decently hard, patch up water weaknesses, and tank special hits :)

Btw what is Ursaluna-BM’s movepool like? I can’t see it on the spreadsheet it’s all blacked out.
