Client Saving teams on smogtours

What is the bug?
Smogtours fails to save teams to localStorage, so whenever I import teams from the main server, they never save and always delete themselves every time I leave.

In console window on Smogtours:

localStorage.showdown_teams
undefined

In console window on Main:

localStorage.showdown_teams
`gen4ou]Untitled 982|Swampert||choicespecs|torrent|hydropump...`

Are you able to replicate it? If so, how?
This seems to occur both on Brave (Chromium-based) and Firefox.
