Hello friends! I'm on 40 benadryl, and I'm a big fan of taking unusual pokemon and trying to make them work in tiers they really should not be in.

Apple Juice (Bouffalant) @ Life Orb
Ability: Sap Sipper
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Brave Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Wild Charge
- Head Charge
- Close Combat
- Throat Chop

Bouffalant is this team's opening sweeper and Sap Sipper receiver. I chose Bouffalant because normal is my favorite type and I miss before gen 6 when the good normal types were stolen away to become fairies but that's neither here nor there it has both pretty solid defensive and offensive stats, along with an honestly great movepool and silly ability in Sap Sipper. It has a minus speed nature and 0 speed IV specifically so it can underspeed Appletun and benefit from Sap Sipper turn one.

Apple Sauce (Appletun) @ Leftovers
Ability: Thick Fat
EVs: 252 HP / 224 SpD / 32 Spe
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Leech Seed
- Apple Acid
- Dragon Pulse
- Recover

Appletun exists to stick around for a long time and feed Bouffalant for as long as possible. It has decent defensive typing, good defensive stats, and really good defensive ability in Thick Fat. It uses Apple Acid to power up its offensive partner Bouffalant and lower the defenses of opposing pokemon. It has good survivability due to leech seed, recover, and good bulk.

BlisseyLover2012 (Sableye) @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Quash
- Dark Pulse
- Disable
- Recover

Sableye clearly serves as a prankster support mon intent on disrupting your opponent's turn plans with quash and disable. With such a mostly slow team, Sableye's Quash is very important in many relevant matchups. Recover paired with the rocky helmet is meant to be a nuisance to physical attackers while dealing back consistent STAB damage with dark pulse.

Fleasy (Zygarde-10%) @ Choice Band
Ability: Aura Break
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
Thousand Arrows-
Crunch-
Iron Tail-
Dragon Tail-

Zygarde-10% forme is the team's resident speedy choice sweeper. With a diverse move pool, speed, and a completely useless ability, Zygarde is adept at revenge-killing (or at least forcing out) many common threats with choice band powered attacks.

Little Goober (Klefki) @ Choice Specs
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
Dazzling Gleam-
Flash Cannon-
Toxic-
Switcheroo-

In truth, I just originally wanted steel and fairy type coverage in one pokemon, and i decided on Klefki over Mawile due to Klefki's ability to cripple physical attackers with Prankster Switcheroo Choice Specs. Klefki helps the team by providing toxic support along with simply being one of the best type combos in the game. Now you might say having two prankster mons on one team is disadvantageous, and can even put you in some horrible spots where you don't have the right mon for the situation. Here I ask you: But isn't it funny to have two prankster mons on one team? C'mon, you know Im right.

Tapu Kevin (Golisopod) @ Assault Vest
Ability: Emergency Exit
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Adamant Nature
Rock Slide-
Leech Life-
Liquidation-
Knock Off-

Golisopod serves as this team's defensive pivot & resident fire type counter. Golisopod is a bulky physical attacker running coverage moves with knock off support. Have you noticed a theme yet? Everything is either a physical attacker with coverage moves or a complete support mode mon. I have a problem.
In this slot originally was Armaldo, but i felt like i preferred the water STAB over rock STAB. And of course, emergency exit is just funny.

Aaaaaand that is it, I believe.

I trained a bouffalant for my meta, it seems interesting! Maybe don't use throat chop? You have a lot of dark coverage, you could run high horsepower/EQ(Idk,) Smart Strike, Megahorn, Rock Slide, or even set up. How has LO been? It takes away from good bulk, but I realize a normal can't run expert belt well.

Sableye isn't much good for attacking, but is it better to be special? Is there a point to disable?

Dragon Tail seems odd on Zygarde, honestly.

I like this though, rarely seen mons that's cool. Should something have protect cause doubles? What do you do vs Landorus-t?

That's interesting you had Armaldo before, I too used to use that.

Hear out my logic here: Throat chop is meant to serve as a hard counter to Dragapult leads, as it almost always ohkos with life orb. Bouffalant typically doesn't stick around for very long given LO and Head Charge recoil, and it certainly could be nicer to run something like assault vest or choice band to give it more survivability, I suppose. I personally use prankster disable a lot on Sableye, its really good at interrupting sweeps from powerful wallbreakers.

It can straight up invalidate a turn from the opposing pokemon by disabling the move they were about to use. Honestly it's really good at sort of remedying weaknesses this team faces.
Good point on the attacking part, I changed Dark Pulse to Foul Play so it doesn't need any attack investment.

I originally used Breaking Swipe on Zygarde, but I decided to try out Dragon Tail to see if its better at disrupting the opponent with a fast forced switch out.

Another very good point with Landorus, the closest thing to a check to it is Liquidation Golisopod and pray you don't get outsped and forced to switch out with Emergency Exit. Definitely something this team struggles with.

Thanks for the rate :)

Sure. Uh, what do you mean about fast forced switch out? Dragon Tail is negative priority. I like the idea of breaking swipe, I used it in BSS, but it'd be even better here w/o max.

Have you tried Outrage? I feel like you might've and found it too unpredictable. If so Breaking Swipe seems perfectly fine.

You mentioned you might go CB on Bouffalant. If so, use Glare on Zygarde imo.

If you like non-fairy gen 5 normal types, you could try to fit cincinno onto the team. Cincinno has a fast, weak, skill-linked bullet seed for apple juice.
