I thought that the entry hazards was a way of a comeback for Samurai, since he essentially let himself start a battle at 2-3 with entry hazards on his side. Entry hazards certainly proved useful, but the most useful one was probably Toxic Spikes (reinforcing my point that Toxic is overpowering). Spending two actions early on in the game to lay these down gives you two rounds' worth of damage later on, which is extremely good.So how do you think the hazard-laying impacted this battle? Was it worth it, or did Samurai get the win purely due to super-effective Hydro Pump and never-miss Thunder?
Certainly one of the more interesting battles.
