Magnolia was the first to wake me up... as a Ralts again. Quite flustered herself, she explained that we somehow managed to slip through a space-time rift and end up in an alternate dimension where she and the others never evolved. Understandably, she was pissed at here renewd weakness -something she thought a thing of the past. However, she chose to set out one again with me and gain that power back.
Due to her past experience, it was but a formality to get back to her regular power level, though she claims wavering patterns in lunar energy keep her from accessing her true power. We'll see about that, because I have a feeling our quest is far from over...

See, that's one of the new souls I came across when exploring Galar. A Beldum is rare enough, but a shiny one is just icing on the cake. However, that was only part of the appeal. You see, when we came face to face around an alley (what was she doing here in the first place?), she just... stood there. Not really afraid, just curious. And analytic. Actually, being analytic is one of the core aspects of both her personality and battle style. Her immense brain power allows her to accurately calculate the possibilities of a battle at a given time, thus projecting a bit into the future. However, she still has trouble to account for an opponent's odd behavior, leading to miscalculations. She also doesn't speak that often. Usually, it's only a few words to give her opinion on the situation at hand. It seems like she's actually afraid to open up to people and mingle with the team. Oh, well. Hopefully that'll get better with time!

The round starts off with Irot using the terrain he summoned to boost his attacks, blasting Yew with a ruthless burst of energy. Yew, however, manages to twist the dimensions so that next round, he can move first and Imprison Irot's Imprison, to prevent Irot from Imprisoning his Imprison. After this tongue-twisting maneuver, Yew strikes at Irot's throat, rendering him silent for a while, but that doesn't stop Irot from casting a delayed psychic attack that will be sure to hurt next round...

Yew goes on the offensive, striking at the Indeedee's throat once again to ensure his silence and slashing viciously with crossed blades to deal extreme damage to him and leaving the Psychic-type in a critical condition. This round is rather strange indeed. While Irot prepares to brace himself, Yew fools him into doing it again. However, while Yew is able to nearly knock out Irot, Irot also takes down Yew with a slight flailing attack that knocks out the Indeedee as well.

As opposed to the strategies present in the first two rounds, this round is an all-out slugfest. Shuvi slams Embers with a hammer-like strike and infuses cosmic energy into one of her punches, dealing massive damage to Embers. However, Embers does not hesitate to return the favor, ramming into Shuvi with flames cloaking his body that only grow stronger when he enters Zen Mode. It's not looking too good for either battler, with the recoil damage from Flare Blitz having brought Embers down to about Shuvi's health and Shuvi being slowed down by the effort she put into those Hammer Arms...

Magnolia thinks she's going to be cleaning up, but instead, she whiffs all three of her attacks while Cobalt is underground. Though Cobalt manages to make the opposing Gardevoir look like a fool while nearly doing half of her HP in damage, he also burns 45 EN in the process. Energy probably isn't his main concern, though, because a Gardevoir can turn around a fight in no time, especially when it has the type advantage and second order...
