Paradox teaser on the last trailer?

At any rate, the Paradonphans look really good... Except for Future Donphan's face. Like bruh, what kind of messed up ecosystem are you living in that your face fell off!? :trode:

Also, nice Dragon Crown.

And finally... I hate music with ads. Sorry Sheeran, I muted that on the spot. :totodiLUL:

Some people were curious if the Mark and TItle system were coming back from SWSH and the answer is: yes

Doesnt this actually count as Charizard confirmation btw? or was it already confirmed?

Look I know we're nowhere some other Switch titles, but I am pretty satisfied with how the games look, at least in these trailers.

The combat animations seem to have got polished to look more flashy, textures in general look better, I don't see any weird 2 fps animations like in the early trailers either.
Ofc I'm 100% sure there'll be generic low quality fuckery here and there, i have pretty low overall expectations, but them not looking like a PS2 game is definitely helping.

I don't think we've seen the Dragon tera crown before. I didn't recognize a reference like with the Ghost crown, but it's still neat looking.

Also it seems like we're getting version exclusive regional Donphans? And they're seemingly plot relevant? Those are some exciting new steps in the area of remixing old Pokemon.

People who didn't follow the leak are getting pumped up by the Donphans huh ? ;)

Y'know, it'd be great if the thread about official Pokemon news didn't constantly have people going "hey by the way there are leaks *nudge nudge wink wink*" as if they think they're somehow being funny or wanted.

Like, I don't recall SV getting a "song" trailer like SM and SwSh got, so that could be something they'll do.
Hey, I called it! Forgot they got Ed Sheeran to give them a song to use. Lyrics still don't really match what's going on, though if you don't pay attention to that it's a nice enough hype song.

While I know enough of leaks to know "what" they are (or at least what they're called), it certainly brings some new questions aside the obvious.

Yeah, let's not kid around, those were new Donphan forms. Now with that out of the way, one looked more "primitive" while the other looked more "futuristic". Where does that sound familair? Right, Koraidon and Miraidon. While we figured the two Legendaries who related merely from appearance, this adds an additional wrinkle into the mix. If these two new forms of Donphan are a past and future version of it, does that mean Koraidon and Miraidon are indeed past and future versions of the same species (possibly of Cyclizar)?

Except for Future Donphan's face. Like bruh, what kind of messed up ecosystem are you living in that your face fell off!? :trode:
It didn't fall off, it looked to have gotten armor around it. Though, much like Miraidon, this Future Donphan doesn't look to be natural. If these Pokemon are form the future or some kind of technologically advanced place, they either are building/adding cybernetics to Pokemon or we have a "Horizon" (video game series) scenario where Pokemon have adapted the leftover technology to be a part of them.

On one hand... Yeah, that's my bad.

On the other... these were mentioned in like over 20 pages in this thread before the leak ban. It's pretty much common knowledge by now.

If we're keeping it real, there aren't really any leaks rn anyway. GF plugged everything up with one MAJOR exception.

Bird up. :wo:

Seems like there is a section for pokemon (used with)/moves/abilities/natures/items/tera types. Also Tyranitar hasn't gotten a different ability.

"Tera Raid Battle events where you will be able to take on specific Pokémon or encounter Pokémon with specific Tera Types are in development and will make their debut sometime after the games are released."
Seems like the regular supply of raid events like SWSH will be in progress. Similarly, the feature is even called Poke Portal News. We've seen the menu earlier but this confirms that it exists from the X menu.
To encounter Pokémon featured in Tera Raid Battle events, you need to have downloaded the latest Poké Portal News. Poké Portal News will automatically download if your Nintendo Switch™ system is connected to the internet.

You can also download the latest Poké Portal news by selecting Poké Portal from the X menu, then Mystery Gift, then Check Poké Portal News. You do not need a paid Nintendo Switch Online membership to receive the latest Poké Portal News.

It seems like the Charizard will have set moves, mark, and ability, and can only be catchable once, so it's like an event where you have to catch it yourself while it's not normally encounterable.

The black crystals are said to be postgame, but others can join people hosting them.
"You’ll be able to take on Tera Raid Battles at black crystals after completing certain postgame events. However, players who haven’t completed these events may still participate in these Tera Raid Battles by joining another Trainer’s Tera Raid Battle, whether they’re in a multiplayer group or using a Link Code. "

As mentioned, marks are back, and this one is specifically for a 7-star raid boss. You can see that the Charizard is level 100 as well. Number of marks obtained may be an interesting stat to track though it's a dash in the screenshot.

The boss Charizard is also standing menacingly instead of flying idly.
