I really wanted Mega Beedrill as its my fav mega but I didn't want any more fire weakness. Here's the team:
Breloom (M) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Technician
Level: 50
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Mach Punch
- Rock Slide
- Bullet Seed
- Drain Punch
Explanation: I want this team to be built around Breloom. Its a choice scarf Breloom to revenge kill a lot of things with technician boosted mach punch or bullet seed or rock slide. The rest of the team revolves around Breloom's weaknesses.
Celesteela @ Leftovers
Ability: Beast Boost
Level: 50
EVs: 252 HP / 20 SpA / 236 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Leech Seed
- Protect
- Flamethrower
- Flash Cannon
Explanation: Celesteela covers the glaring flying type weakness of Breloom pretty well. I don't think Defense EVs would be necessary as Celesteela takes a few brave birds easily. And it can recover from leech seed. Its a pretty standard set. It also checks mega Sam for some time so I think keeping it healthy is important.
Dragalge (M) @ Assault Vest
Ability: Adaptability
Level: 50
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Draco Meteor
- Sludge Bomb
- Hydro Pump
- Thunderbolt
Explanation: Dragalge is here to check the Electric weakness of Celesteela. Seriously, even with so much Sp.def, Celesteela often doesn't survive tbolts from Non-electric type attackers like porygon-z so this is to fully counter that with a vest but with adaptability, Dragalge also hits well.
Forretress (M) @ Custap Berry
Ability: Sturdy
Level: 50
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Careful Nature
- Explosion
- Rapid Spin
- Stealth Rock
- Toxic Spikes
Explanation: This Forretress is here just because I don't want to defog away my hazards. I know Forretress as the classic set up my hazards then remove yours pokemon. I don't even know if hazards are important in BSS as much as in other tiers like OU,UU,RU etc. As a last resort, it will explode on anything my team can't counter(a lot of things).
Araquanid (M) @ Figy Berry
Ability: Water Bubble
Level: 50
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 SpD
Careful Nature
- Liquidation
- Leech Life
- Sticky Web
- Toxic
Explanation: The Fire weakness just doesn't go from my brain. So this is just Araquanid. Regular water bubble liquidation does 75% to Ttar.
Blaziken (M) @ Blazikenite
Ability: Speed Boost
Level: 50
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Protect
- High Jump Kick
- Flare Blitz
- Swords Dance
Explanation: To counter fire types even more, I have Blaziken. Again, this pokemon plays the role of the mega as well as a hard hitter. I'm currently on the lowest of ladders so this thing can sweep teams if unchecked. But mega beedrill is still better.
Suggest another Mega or any Pokemon you think would help the team. I'm new to competitive Pokémon but I love watching competitive battles.
