Hello friends! After intense battling across five opens, we are left with the top eight competitors as we begin the final rounds of Other Metagames' fifth Grand Slam! The top eight will duke it out in a best of five series of Almost Any Ability, Balanced Hackmons, Mix and Mega, NFE, and STABmons. The higher seed chooses which metagame is played first and the remaining games will use the standard "loser picks next" deciding order.

Just wanted to say that even if he hit the prough I still could have won,play rough has 30% chance to kill, if he doesnt get it, he can't rkill with gengar since I have sucker punch , ifhe rkills with noivern/mamo I can defog and clean with scarf gengar and zeraora (unless icicle flinches which is why he could have still won if he got one of the two 30%)

A little disappointed in mons for not loving me, feel like at times got a bit unlucky nonetheless i only have myself to blame for not knowing strength sap mechanics.I at least got to play all 5 tiers and having gone into the slams only having played nfe i defs learned a lot and made a bunch of new friends which is really what it's all about. ggs to Multi gl in the next round i look forward to watching the series, should be a good one!
lastly i would like to formally apologise to pidgeons for the way i acted in discord with regards to my mons nicknames. thx all :)

ggs to Dragonillis pretty disappointed with how I played the series besides my main meta lots of hasty misplays because I didn't understand game mechanics or didn't take the time to think out endgames but I suppose it gives me some things to work on in the future. Big thank you to xavgb for providing teams and building input for some of these metas i'm still learning and to rozes for building me a really cool team in AAA that I didn't get to use. Good luck to the semifinalists see you all in OMPL if anyone is interested in discussing a bit of MnM or playing some practice games in preparation i'm usually down when i'm around so don't hesitate to hit me up.
