Ok So First I chose Hitmonlee as Sigilyph's fighting type partner because it can spin hazards away, it has knock off, priority, a strong STAB, and matches up well with sigilyph very well. I next wanted to go into my walls, I chose Tank Mega Cam and Defensive Mola, these to cover each other and at the same time helps igilyph and provides SR, Wish, and Status support. I next wanted a pokemon that could be offensive but had bulk and gave me an immunity to spore, Tangrowth fit this perfectly, so it wouldn't be Special attack fodder i placed AV on it to take special hits a lot better. and Lastly i wanted a Dragon Check and Psychic Check and sneasel can do this phenomenally, it has STAB ice shard and STAB pursuit to revenge kill psychic types and more, it also has a great speed and attack stat to abuse its other strong stabs.

Not gonna submit a team but just wanted to give some feedback on the above two:

I feel like a +1 Venomoth is incredibly irritating to both these teams as if it sets up, it's gonna take down one mon with it for sure. It doesn't really set up well against slurmz's team, but it can sleep powder steelix (the very counter to moth on the team) and then take it down with Bug Buzz. It also kinda sets up on Qwilfish so there's that. I'd say that Sleep Talk kinda helps mitigate that and should be considered. Even on the second team, Venomoth now actually finds great setup opportunities in Alomomola and Tangrowth; although Alom can fish for a Scald burn, Substitute variants of Venomoth can quash this. Again, the venomoth counter in this case (camerupt) doesn't have sleep powder making it a shaky answer to it. I think Sleep Talk > WoW is the way to go here as well.

If either Sigi was changed to Flame Orb CM they'd also add an emergency Veno check without losing *too* much.

Ok Sash Sigilyph because im hip and i like having that as a safety net on teams that give a lot of leeway to Scrafty like this one and its always reliable and even works as a lure since they are at +1 and who is gonna switch at that point? Scrafty is a nice sweeper on bulkier teams so there is that. Scarf Durant is there to check stuff like Scarf Psychic types as well as fast mons in general.
Mola + Lix covers most stuff with Spiritomb as a secondary check to Psychic and Fighting-types

Just a nitpick, mola should be impish and not bold.

The winner for this round is:

galbia congratz :::D

This week Pokemon is:

Ah the one and only RU.jpg bird fletch basically does the job Talonflame does in OU Swords Dance and tries to Kill something or Revenge kill mons making is an amazing safety net Pokemon. It's main set is Sword Dance Acrobatics Wilo Roost their ar either sets like Leichi Natural Gift(Grass) or using Overheat. Fletch is become such a threat that fletch are running more speed for other fletch so they can't revenge kill it. It's biggest problem as you may guess is that 2x Stealth Rock so you have to run a Defog/Rapid spinner also it's frailty doesn't help it out either. Even with those cons the rewards are worth it.

Deadline: September 20th
post your teams in the thread Good luck every one

The same team I shared on team style analysis thread but with some changes that made it generally more consistent. Pretty standard Heavy Offense team that uses tailwind as a form of speed control if setup sweepers that boost its speed or powerful scarfers get out of hand. Fletchinder provides an amazing setup sweeper in this metagame, flying STAB is so good, provides tailwind whenever necessary, tailwind in general is pretty situational all in all but it has saved me plenty of times whenever I misplay (which is always) giving me a safety button if "x" mon that checks "y" mon is gone but will-o-wisp easily works still (albeit less fun).

The rest is fairly standard, sneasel is an amazing mon with a solid speed tier that can clean weakened teams outside of tailwind, hitmonlee and samurott are amazing wallbreakers that most of the tier cant switch into, sub calm mind meloetta use bunch of special attackers as setup fodder and mega steelix is mega steelix, providing an amazing glue to the team against a plethora of threats. Stone edge cause not having a rock move on your only bird check against every other fletch is suicide. Rapid spin hitmonlee cause is a necessity.

Pretty fun team all in all, hope you have fun if you ever use it!
